Here's the think about statistics, I could easily pick one ship out of the ones the players you've named and shamed and make them look better or worse too, or pick one ship of yours to make you look much worse. But that wouldn't tell the whole truth, and the truth is.. you're a player of low skill. But you're worse of a player than merely being someone unskilled, you're a bad toxic unsportsmanlike player. And even if your claim was true, that makes you look just ever worse in comparison. I'd much rather have a bad player who tried, than someone like you. And no, 10 or 20, or even 100 cherry picked players doesn't make those more than half of thousands.

Indeed, several of the sub 1k battle players he named and shamed could easily improve to be better than him, while he should have reached his skill ceiling by now and really is a bad player in every respect for good. Worse yet, he named multiple people with less than 100 battles.

So you're basicly using the exact same circular reasoning I examplified about CVs. The few you can easily check shows no unicums or complete potatoes on either side, and the spread in CW and ranked statuses doesn't show a massive difference either. Point is, there's enough random factors (both rng, and choices that aren't good or bad given information available) that might give one side such a decisive early lead that it snowballs into this. and it's not something new to the game. You could easily change only a few factors in that game and get a very different result.

Well if you can be bothered actually checking the different players on each team, there's not some massive difference between them. And my point about radars, though it also applies to people who so love to call entire teams "potato" and to generalize the player base, is that people will look at a result, and see the cause as whatever they want it to be. Quite like people will gleefully go "the best CV always wins for his team, and I know he was the best CV because his team won so that proves my first point" as if that made any sense whatsoever. You could take the same lineup, have the battle end with a decisive victory for the other team and have someone past the lineup and blame the loss on fewer radars.

Accidentally did it in an otherwise crap game in Kronstadt. Thus far the only mission that have required more than just playing is the 100 damaged modules one (which I spent a game in Conq in to get mostly done).

You are whining because you only get some freebies, the ones they said you'd get, and not way more, with an easy and predictable path to get upgrades (or ships) if you so desire, and you figure that if you stir the pot a bit more you'll get even more. And if they said non clan players would get whatever freebies based on something they'd already said before.. then fine, but that's NOT the case. And again, YOU ARE ALREADY GETTING A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF FREEBIES, even including removing exclusivity on CW and ranked only ships, something that directly takes away their uniqueness from those that spent effort to get them before.

And I'm .. well I'm not confused about your desire to dismiss all reason in a quest for freebies. If you spend time playing, that's already rewarded. If you spend real cash, it also gives you something back. Just going "but we just want the same" when you'll struggle to find a way to make it "the same" without taking away something people were promised from playing in clans, and pretending others have a position that's hard to justify? .. ye right You didn't lose anything from this change. You gained a fair bit. Clan and rank players lost something, their exclusive access to specific ships. And while clan players got a minor stack of coal, and also an additional way to get rank/cw ships instead of what they'd get otherwise, their personal oil currency is now defunct and will not be useful for anything personal anymore. In the end people got more than they were promised, so crying you didn't get absolutely everything is just... well.. greedy.

They never said it would be a pure clan resource. What they said that there would be some personal use for it. Much like how the upgrades, signals, cammos, dubloons and ships you could get from ranked weren't at all limited to be used only in ranked, nor were the other rewards for CW play (including the planned Stalingrad) limited to CW play only. And of course, the other benefits from being in a clan applied to any battle you joined, not merely clan battles. So no, this has nothing to do with fairness, discrimination or whatever else. It's a bunch of people being butthurt they don't get some freebies in a patch where they get a ton of them, and trying to make a fuss about it hoping WG will give them this too. /And if you compare actual discrimination to this, then no, you don't care about actual discrimination.

But it's not unfair when they give EVERYONE the option to join a clan. You choosing to not take an offer doesn't mean you're being treated differently than someone who took it. What part of this is so hard to grasp? You're NOT a different group, you're just a player who made a choice. Much like you, and so many other with this complain, not actually giving a real toss about how people are "treated", you just want to raise a stink hoping WG will turn around and give you more free stuff, when this change already gives you a lot.
