The dwindling amount of players of WOWS. Time for statistics & graphs!
AgarwaenME replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
Well, part of it is the erm.. how to put it politely.... challenged social graces of online gamers and how they're ehh. erm.. self centered egoistic t**ts. In WoT these people have turned it into an echo chamber of lies, exaggerations, tinfoil hat conspiracies and blame shifting. These issues could easily be discussed without a lame attempt to "prove" they're directly linked to player numbers, or by throwing many different topics into the mix (he even somehow managed to say that NA players don't give a toss about events and how it doesn't mean more players, but also how those events would mean more players in Europe, logic fails him I guess). Though somehow I doubt that the OP is interested in just discussing those topics, or he might you know.. just discuss them in one of the many topics on those subjects.- 234 replies

The dwindling amount of players of WOWS. Time for statistics & graphs!
AgarwaenME replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
You claimed that prime time numbers were half of what anyone can just log on to see they are, and you want to talk about credibility? And you're using those (wrong) numbers as arguments that the things you're dissatisfied about are causing numbers to drop when you have show absolutely no evidence that this would be the case. Sorry son, you're in no position to question anyones credibility. And it's not a personal attack to note that you barely play the game at all, and in fact seems more interested in the forums than the game. Why do you even care about the game if you pretty much don't play it? What is your actual agenda if it's not desiring better gameplay?- 234 replies

It's neither, it's you being bad and looking for excuses. Just shows that there's no amount of nerfs to CVs that ever will stop the whines against them.

But then you spent most of the time before you quit on biased whines against anything that you couldn't handle in the game...- 234 replies

But even if it is, that's not evidence that they're leaving for the reasons the OP is claiming they are, merely that this game follows the trend of pretty much every other game.- 234 replies

14k online just now, fairly early in the afternoon. Apparently OP has a very different idea of what "Prime time" is. Or how any player number won't suffice as "evidence" for his presupposed ideas.- 234 replies

Wow.. that's going even to a farther extent of silliness and overstating the issues with the patch. Not that it's any different from WoT with kids filling the forums and chats with "worst patch ever, the game is broken, omg devs suck omg". Partly because what I just wrote is what the devs of this very game has said. Partly because it's just silly and clueless and is a childs understanding of creating games. Make a hotfix to address the few really bad issues, and then a proper patch, sure. Rolling back weeks of work (including fixes to old bugs) to then spend further weeks doing everything over again is counterproductive and inefficient in all possible ways. And writing that post as little more than a personal attack, is trolling, so go back in your cave.
-
The only one that appears to be trolling is you. You might try to understand how people.. work. And how rolling back the patch would force the devs to go back to what is for them a weeks old version. Even more so, rolling back to before they fixed an old armour related bug. You'd basicly throw away most of the work that the devs have done since they last published the patch to the test servers. What they far more sensible is doing, is to monitor actual objective performance while trying to figure out how they'd adjust how things work while keeping what was fixed in the last patch. Now was that a slow enough explanation for you? And broken means that the game cannot be played, when it very much can be. And whiners they are because their first response to not automaticly dominating other players is to cry on the forums in subjective fashions (and no, everyone aren't even if the majority sure seems to go that route).
-
Because rolling back patches would completely break their dev progress for several weeks. Nor can you just state that everything changed isn't change they'd want to see. Also, what we're seeing seems to be side effects from them having fixed a long time bug, thus reintroducing that bug just to appease some BB whiners would be incredibly counter productive.

Try to learn to read, then you'd understand what that patent describes. Also take a beginner course in statistics and maths, then maybe you'd understand what you'd see from truly random MM (hint, it does mean you'll see very unfair battles, somewhat unfair battles, nearly fair battles and fair battles). And lastly, if a patent as described would have been implemented into the game, how are there people with way above 50% WR?

I don't know what you did to the Mogami but she's horrible now
AgarwaenME replied to Aerroon's topic in General Discussion
Uh.. then what are you doing in this thread then? And if you're so worried about "last week" threads, why only have attention on this one? And no, having had them before doesn't mean they don't happen far more often now btw.- 156 replies

Even then that still doesn't make it a nerf that could possibly reduce the damage from the 155s by enough to get anywhere close to the atrocious performance of the 203s. They were far better, were better until last week, and likely still are even right now.- 156 replies

Ah, so you're just making up a hidden stat or mechanic that makes some guns use a different dispersion mechanic (I'll just note how you claimed dispersion in your original argument, and how you're now calling it something else when facts were shown).- 156 replies

Ah, so you have some alternate stat to show then? One actually based on facts and not just one you had to invent to suit your argument?- 156 replies

AgarwaenME replied to Aerroon's topic in General Discussion
Talk about twisting reality to suit a bias. There's one class of ships in the game that relies on throwing out shells with huge dispersion and randomly killing ships when rng and not skill is in their favour, and it sure as hell ain't CAs. Also, lets look at those dispersion values. Mogami 155mm - 128m Mogami 203mm - 128m Myoko 203mm - 144m Aoba - 127m and just for kicks Cleveland - 125m So somehow having similar or better dispersion makes it a low skilled lottery but having worse makes your guns into super accurate railguns.... talk about completely ignoring facts. And due to AFT, those smaller calibre guns have better range, so how could they possibly be worse than guns that can't even reach the same targets at long ranges?- 156 replies

Well that's hard to say without a replay, so as such it's just an anecdote either way. Fighting around caps, ie. fighting for objectives instead of treating the game like a deathmatch, is now far better rewarded, and as noted above, this lets DDs "do their job" without getting nearly no rewards for it.
-
So he as contesting caps, preventing enemy caps etc etc. All are things that are now rewarded. And sure, you might have done a good job sinking ships, as you should, but other ships should get as well rewarded for doing jobs beyond purely damaging ships.
-
So what you're saying is, that it shows a random pattern. And your conclusion based on that is that it's "rigged":
-
Take that sarcasm to the multiple threads of BBs crying about their unability to oneshot CAs at will at the moment.
-
You are assuming that's all he did. Doing a good job around caps is now far better rewarded. I'm far less concerned about rewards, than being able to affect the battle properly as a CV.

Akagi, Kaga or Enterprise as premiums?
AgarwaenME replied to Captain_Riley's topic in Aircraft Carriers
Silly bundles aside, even if they might put a cap on how many you'll see. Enterprise please. Do it. -
Why don't secondary batteries turn towards planes when selected?
AgarwaenME replied to Captain_Riley's topic in Battleships
Every graphic effect is only for the visuals and entirely unrelated to the damage AAA does to planes.
