Russian DDs frequently relies on firing from smoke from somewhere around their regular detection range, and while it's possible to fire torps and be undetected (ie, against approaching targets) that's from sub 10km ranges. So yes it will affect them heavily. -
Whenever anyone asks a question in their topic that contains the word "cheat", you can make a decent bet on that actually being a case of ignorance. And that video, like the OPs post, is a case of ignorance about game mechanics, though about two different things. As people have pointed out how the OP is ignorant, I'll just tell you how you are. Ships compartments that can only take damage to a certain point before any further damage to them only does minor damage. This usually only affects DDs to any sort of extent, and is most visible in the (cherrypicked) situation in your vid where torps are hitting the same part over and over.

Plays division with 2 DDs. Is confused there's many DDs in the matches he gets (or just cherry picking games he gets where there's more DDs than average). Wut?

When someone sabotages a ship you don't need to prove they wanted to kill people to put them in jail for attempted murder. Much like if I fire a gun at you, you don't have to prove I didn't just want to ruin your t-shirt. That's the major issue with them, beyond them being far more interested in PR and going for emotional pleas than actually working toward conservation of endangered species. They just do what they think they can get away with, and have little clue about the consequences those acts can have. When ships gets damaged at sea, people can and will die. Your defense would be like some guy driving all over the road, slamming into cars trying to push them off it, and then going "but I only wanted to damage their cars". If you sink a ship without knowing at all if there's anyone on board, then you're attempting to kill people no matter if that's your primary goal or not. These people are doing far more damage to the cause they claim to work towards than whatever pathethic amount of help they could ever provide, by just becoming "heroes" for a few hippies with little clue about real conservationism or the realities of food production.

Where's the "limit both BBs and DDs in both divisions and games" option then? Just consider how biased you have to be, to post a screenshot of a game with 6 DDs, 8 BBs and 10 CAs. He's actually whining about DDs in a game, where they (aside from the nonexistent CVs) were the LEAST represented class. -
But.. they're the criminals, not the whalers. You say they're not trying to become superstars, when that's about the only thing they're actually doing (when not putting peoples lives and health at risk). There's nothing wrong in harvesting a sustainable resource in a humane manner. Also, this is entirely off topic for this game..

Or that, in any case there's a pretty close relationship and cooperation on the game. I'm sure he'll be very interested in claiming "argentinian bias" in MOO Or you know, it might just have been a bad attempt to make reality fit his bias.

False. While CAs could use some more tools against DDs, their real problem lies that most are very easy targets for BBs, and some are actually better targets for CVs than some BBs (the lower hp and far worse torp protection combined with how some BBs have similar to much better AAA makes that so). The real issue is that while some DDs can counter BBs "ok", and CVs can counter some BBs. As in, they can't dominate them just because they're their class vs their counterpart, all CAs are from easy to very easy targets for BBs (with the few remaining long range, possibly stealth firing, CAs remaining). There's no BB that struggles to cause damage to CAs in the same way that many CVs or DDs (and do try to be less simplistic and don't think of all DDs as BB counters, as at the moment they're as much DD counters as BB counters) can easily struggle to cause real damage to a BB. Giving CAs the ability to easily kill DDs only makes it easier to play BBs, and then even harder to play CAs. Also, CAs already have a tool to spot DDs at long range, it's called a "team". -

Russian DDs have a skill tax in expert marksman and AFT as you really can't perform without those. Add last stand as a given too and your options quickly sink to few to none, with the only one being if you want to get CE or not. -

But the same type of whining the OP here provides made sure CVs became very rare, and the exact thing we told those people would happen, has happened. Hell, even in this thread people note how CAs die so easily, yet their conclusion to that is "nerf DDs", instead of the actually logical "fix CA survivability" solution. -
That's entirely twisting it. That company isn't making a game and using WG as a publisher. They're hired and paid by WG to make and run the game.

Try to actually read, being less ignorant helps. That change would actually do nothing to the matchup the OP is whining about (and which they from that pic seem to actually be winning, so much for having that many DDs being a huge advantage eh?). What that change does it to prevent uneven matchups, like 4 yamas vs 4 montanas by switching same class and tier ship from one team to another. -
100 kills or 30 of a specific type is pretty much the same thing. Personally I much prefer this to people desperately trying to get kills on specific ship types.

You seem to be playing a different game where CAs have some actual ability to "screen". Also, you seem to be incredibly arrogant and selfish to assume that you're somehow more important so it's fine to have them run in front.
