But then you'd have to get 100 hits with the stock accuracy just to get manual accuracy. Doesn't seem like much of a bonus to me.

The sectors do not support cross firing, not sure why.
-
Part of me wants to question why they purposefully gave the secondaries these values as if it is part of some balancing effort, but it seems to be nothing more than an oversight.

ST - Italian cruisers Part 2 and British Heavy Cruisers
Benser33 replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
Devonshire was the flagship of VA Cunningham and saw mixed combat success during her few engagements throughout WW2. Dorsetshire, not Devonshire, claimed two torpedo hits upon the Bismarck. These torpedos were launched on an already heavily listing Bismarck who had succumbed to multiple aerial torpedo attacks from carriers Victorious and Ark Royal, battleship fire from Prince of Wales, Repulse, King George V and Rodney, heavy cruiser fire from Sheffield, Norfolk, Suffolk and Dorsetshire and ultimately her own crews efforts to scuttle her. -
Borodino is based on this preliminary Soyuz design with 5 guns.

Because you can still earn the mod and then it sits in your inventory until they change it.
-
It makes it easier to hit with them.

Apparently if you want to hide a camo category you aren't allowed to use it yourself. It's pretty ridiculous.

As Genova appears to be some sort of fake prototype trento they wield the same armament, with Genova bringing 203s to tier 5 instead of Montes 152s. As far as I can tell, Trentos guns are identical to Genovas, except for the noticable improvement of a 15s reload and an extra 2km range. She still suffers with very floaty shells that can make hitting anything at a distance frustrating, more so with the inconsistent results of the shells. Zara, which I've had the pleasure of using during this early access period has significantly better gun handling, with shells at the maximal 16.11km range taking almost 25% less time to arrive, which really seems to make a considerable difference. Amalfi further improves on the ballistics with even faster SAP shells, the same performance as the tier 9 and 10.
-
The first thing I noticed about her was her abyssmal ballistics, although Trento is no better and tier 6. My initial successes with Genova were soon neutralised by her lacking general performance.

What is the formula for this last column?

Mainz is beginning to resemble Chapa more and more, first overtaking Chapas DPM and now might have AP penetration that is more like ~80-90% of Chapas, not 50-60%, as well as increasingly similar ballistics. This buff should push Mainz ability to pen 152mm of armor out from 5km to over 8km, which is still painfully short but a significant improvement. I don't understand the point of Gorizia. Why on earth would anyone want this ship? Is there supposed to be some sort of benefit to being able to hydro things at 6km? You cannot use the smoke and hydro aggressively in combination unless you intend to not fire the guns as the smoke firing concealment is 8.3km, anything that you can hydro will see when you when you fire so using the smoke would be pointless. And if you don't use the smoke are you actually going to need the hydro? And then to get within the hydro range and not have torpedos, only able to rely on SAP and AP? You can use the hydro defensively, sure, but why would I want defensive hydro over torpedos? And then, compared to Zara, Gorizia has a 2 second! longer reload time, 600m less range, 1 knot slower, she even has worse AA. But at least she has 2 extra secondary guns! Despite the smoke cooldown being an actual buff compared to Zara, I do not see the point in this terrible looking ship.

With the reload buff Mainz will no longer appear as utterly irrelevant. Her current armor scheme (25mm bow/stern, 27mm mid) is "good" for a CL when considering the IFHE rework definition of a CL armor scheme (16mm bow/stern, 27mm mid), especially now that she actually resembles a CL in one of the most fundamental ways; DPM. Plus, in addition to armor that more closely resembles a CA she also has 42,500 hp, among the best at tier 8 (ignoring ships with heal), rivalling Balti, Amalfi and Hipper, ships with much lower DPM. It is difficult to really predict how well it will work overall when trying to marry CL guns to a CA hull, but now that it has guns that are doing comparable CL DPM it should stand a chance of being workable.

Then log a ticket and ask.

Under Settings -> Controls is an option to disable written messages in battle chat. Pings and system messages are still enabled. You can also disable the Battle chat ingame by pressing enter to "activate" the chat window and then clicking on the cross that appears in the corner of the chat.
-
We're also seeing some clan members have very spikey ping, some intermittent, some more consistent and severe.

IFHE simulates the use of an inertia mechanism in a shells fuse, design to improve the reliability of a shell arming upon grazing contact with an object where a direct contact only fuse might fail to arm the shell. SAP simulates the Semi Armor Piercing shell, a concept where a shell can be modified by means such as reducing its fuse delay, to reduce its penetrative capacity and prevent a shell from overpenetrating a target. The IFHE changes are designed to enable cruiser to penetrate each other without needing IFHE (making play slightly less difficult for CLs who don't have IFHE yet) while also increasing the drawbacks of IFHE as some CLs could take IFHE to significantly increase their HE DPM with only minimal impact to their fire chance. Since no ship that uses SAP also has HE there's not really any implications on SAP using ships as a result of the IFHE changes and none of the armor changes have any impact on SAP performance either. SAP will continue to act more like an AP shell with a static penetration value and good penetration angles, HE shells even with IFHE will continue to have some fire starting ability and much lower penetration than SAP for their calibre, so I would say they will still be quite different. Although the fire chance nerf is quite universal for ships that use IFHE, the actual penetration changes affects only a short list of ships.

3 invitations for 1 recruit container? (plz reply)
Benser33 replied to chris_von_dude's question in Q&A Section
The recruiter earns recruiting points instead, which then can spend on containers that might contain premium ships (although Warspite is not among them) as well as cashback on dubloons spent by people you recruit (which could then be spent on premiums in the armory). Full details in this article; https://worldofwarships.eu/en/content/recruiting_station/ -

You can try taking the issue straight to support. I'd try to log something under Gameplay -> Recruit a Friend. -
I see what you mean now. But, unless the support page points you to an automated support tool (like password change, etc) then any ticket should be read and dealt with, selecting the right category will only speed things up. But since no specific ticket category exists, personally I would use the Account Management -> Restoration/Wipe -> Undo an ingame action option through the EU support. You will need to provide a bunch of information to prove you are who you say you are but you can also describe the issue in the ticket to clarify that you want to cancel the migration and it should still be responded to appropriately.
-
https://worldofwarships.asia/en/content/india-account-migration/ The Asia -> EU server migration was designed to be one way, migrating between servers is only available to players from India to transfer from Asia to EU, but for 30 days after you migrate your account your Asia account will remain active and during that period you can log a ticket with either the Asia or EU customer support to request a cancellation of the transfer.

The game has always seemed to count your bonuses based on your circumstances at the time the battle ends, so if premium expires mid battle you wouldn't get the bonus at the end. But, I would want to test this myself to say with certainty, premium may be the exception.

It only had 5 guns, but its design did exist as one of the Project 23 variants It is more real than Cheshire, so far.
