I could see some players being tempted to trade in some ships for some of what is on offer, but since you can only do a 1 for 1 trade and you have to pay the difference on a full priced ship (no coupons) the offer is almost universally terrible.

Well they said in the stream that mines are dropped and then take some time to rise to the surface and arm, and during that underwater period depth charges can destroy them. No idea how the timing on that works though, but if you want to sit behind an island and not have mines dropped on your head, having depth charges might actually help.

I quite like that Swedish BB although if that is the default camo design I am not sure I would be keeping it on... Defence, on the other hand, is quite repulsive. I really wish we could get a nice, handsome tier X British cruiser but Plymouth is the only decent offering so far.

That was what I wondered, but I can't see the unusual rear facing single gun that's on Jutland's A hull. I think it has the regular rear twin turret, so looks like a top Jutland. But still, it only says similar to Jutland, so perhaps some major stat changes?

Remains to be seen, it's true that "free" and "generous" are not synonymous, but if it is just a grind that isn't time limited then I'll be quite happy with a premium Jutland.

Torpedo bombers and dive bombers are both worth preserving. Which of those you choose is personal preference really. Torpedo bombers tend to take more damage due to their more direct attack route, but US dive bombers are typically quite strong and their dive attack can also cause them to loiter inside AA.
