Graf Spee and Nuremberg for rank

Nurnberg is going to be very strong, but I will probably stick to my Cleveland or Fuso. The pure firepower and in the case of the Cleveland AA strenghts should be enough.

Im I the only one that goes

The manual drop removal was pretty stupid, I agree. But the 203 HE buff? Not really noticable at all if I'm honest, the HE is for setting fires, and that is pretty much it. The damage even after the buff is nothing special.
  3. Shame, since the German DD's are a lot of fun and suprisingly strong so far. On topic all I really care about so far with the british BB's is that radar. There is no need for it, give them some other flavour but not radar.
  4. The German cruiser line is a very jack of all trades line. Up to tier 7 they have long range for their tiers and while their HE is lackluster at times they have good rate of fire. They are resonably fast with good AP shells on broadside targets and they have excellent hydro. Weak armor and not great AA are downsides though. From tier 8 they become more sluggish but gain a lot of durability. Their firepower becomes more well rounded with focus still being on AP, but the HE is ok and with demolition expert you are a serious threat to battleships. AA wise they do the job just fine, with the Hindenburg becoming an AA monster fully specced for AA. All in all a very well rounded line with no serious weakness but no defining strength (apart fron the arguably durable Roon and Hindenburg).

How often do you check your stats?

Almost after every session. It is nice to see what I need to work on overall or in the next couple of sessions.

    What to do with Wakatake?

This is a common trend with pure torp boats, you sort of rely on the enemy making a mistake (not always, but most of the time). A tip that can help is to not rely 100% on the torp lead indicator. Try to anticipate turns or ships slowing down, with just a 39 sec reload you can afford to be a bit trigger happy with your torps. The biggest problem with the Wakatake, the 2x2 launchers, will atleast be solved on the Isokaze, so there is that. But yes, on the Wakatake, don't rely completely on the lead indicator, try to get as close as possible so they don't have a lot of time to react (the torps are pretty sneaky) and scout for your team and try to cap points without beeing seen.

    Not for everyone

The USSR damage mission I did get by just playing normally, and it was not extremely time consuming (if it was kills instead of damage though, yeah not going to happen). But weirdly I struggled aswell with the BB kills. Getting the damage, top 2 XP and a bunch of other kills, no problem. But 2 BB kills in one game even though I tried to hold my fire occasionally? Much more annoying than I thought

    Not for everyone

This. With the BB heavy meta tier 7,9 and 10 cruisers can really have a great time and with the large amount of german BB's running around you get plenty of oppurtunities to also test the AP on your cruisers. My Hindenburg loves the current meta, managed to get 133k average damage during yesterdays session, so for me cruisers have been the best option to get those really damage heavy games.

Wargaming, address misuse of the report system!

The whole Karma buisness is so useless and pointless I have no idea why it even got implemented. It literally show nothing or do anything. The only things I have said in chat today is what cap to go for, and I have gotten a couple of first bloods on DD's that don't expect my Maass to have Hydro. And I have been reported 7 times today. Brilliant system.

    Are SUPERcontainers really super?

I actually got a supercontainer yesterday, and it contained 3 000 doubloons, so very much thanks for that. But apart from that they are so rare and if they contain an upgrade they are more useless than 3 flag and camo containers which you can get fairly easily in a few hours.
  11. I have said it before and I will say it again, the problem IMO is not the +-2 MM, that is fine, the problem is when you get constantly thrown into higher tier games all the time. Lately though I have found myself in more same tier games at tier 6 mainly, even with the ridicilous numbers of Bismarcks lately.

    Epicenter mode is still crud

Epicenter IMO is the second best game mode after domination with random battles coming in last. Having an objective to work towards is much better than a glorified team deathmatch camp duel. Problem is as stated above, the attitude towards the game mode or people failing to realise how to play it. Since the cap area is so large it often means that people will contribute even if they just happen to sail through one of the circles by mistake, so it has that going for it. And yes tears of the desert can go eat a [edited], in any game mode or ship.

    world of warships changes

Dunno, BB's burn just as nicely this patch as they have done since forever really.

    2nd line or worse! torpedos

Brilliant idea, because more salt is exactly what this community needs. In any friendly fire incident that is either clearly a TK attempt or someone who is not even thinking straight (second line torpers), just report and move on. And I don't think this issue will go away as long as it is capable of damaging your teammates.

  16. ^Same reaction as most people here honestly. Like Exocet says, this is a person that complains just for the sake of complaining. Same garbage pointless whine threads on the WoT forums, and now here. I mean honestly he made a thread where he called the Amagi crap because the NC can get 27 km range with plotting room (disregarding the fact that 27 km range is completely useless 99.99% of the time) so the Amagi should get a few more km extra range because offcourse. As for the topic at hand, the Leander is in a good spot, and the british cruisers from Leander and upwards are either good or great. Emerald is pretty crapbut atleast the Leander is a big improvement that easily holds its own in the tier 6 bracket.

whats the best build 4 the hindenburg

I would say pick the AA module instead of aiming systems. When you do encounter a CV and considering all of your main DPS is your long range AA having that big AA bubble regardless if you have def fire or not is a really nice thing to have. And why I value the fighter over the spotter is simply because of the duration, and the fighters just as easily spot ships and torps. But this is just my oppinion.

    Cruisers - What's best?

The Schorsh is too squishy IMO. The Myoko and Fiji are the kings of tier 7 (silver ships), and the Schorsh can't really compete with the Myoko in overall usefulness. Yes when it comes to burning BB's from afar, the Schorsh wins. But the Myoko can do it almost as good without constantly exposing itself, it has much much better torps, better armor, bigger guns with more reliable AP and better stealth.

whats the best build 4 the hindenburg

I have the +1 floatplane skill (don't remember the name) instead of priority target. I personally feel that the added utility of one extra plane outweighs knowing how many people aim at you, but this could also be because I just assume people target me all the time. And if you want to experiment with some added durability, going damage control mod 2 is not a bad choice. The reduced fire duration can give you some added staying power coupled with your heal.

Stock Chapayev in T10 MM: How to?

I really like my Chappy, but like you say stock she is a bit of a struggle. With camopaint she gets 11.6 km detection, which is not bad. So like said before, don't be the first to fire, use terrain if possible and be an oppurtunist only taking shots at ships that are not looking at you. If you have the captain for it, demolition expert is a nice tool and focus on burning down occupied BB's until you can get the range upgrade. Getting the range upgrade first will make your life a hell of a lot easier. You don't have the utility but your support potential goes up immensly. After the range upgrade is acuired most of my issues with the ship went away. You can engage on your terms, 17 km range gives you long enough to react to incoming fire and with your railguns BB shelling is a walk in the park. I certainly enjoy the Chappy 10 times more than the Donskoi, which stock is just a fat useless citadel.

    Dedicated BB Konig Captain skills

The König does have the highest long range AA dps in tier 5, with 66 dps at 4.5 km. So manual AA is IMO not a bad choice at all.

    Possible Zao HP buff

It has the 4th highest average damage among all tier 10, and the highest damage out pf the tier 10 cruisers. The only reason I can think of to why it does not have higher winrate is because of stealthfire. Zao will do just fine even without any buffs or significant nerfs.

So strange? How can this be explained?

I vote for crap RNG aswell. An example from my point of view is when I used my Chapayev, 16% fire chance, 87 hits, 0 fires. craphappens.
