Fifth Dimension has an active Warships group with both competitive and casual play. We have both NA and EU server groups. Mature gamers, 18+ is a requirement, most are 30 through 70. Over 180 in warships and counting. We are actively developing competitive play but it is not required. We are doing team battles. No time requirements for our casual players. I wonder - have you tried a clean installation of the game? I haven't experienced any of those issues, but sounds like you may have a corrupted file or perhaps an outdated device driver somewhere?

Sadly I popped into your TS server to see if anyone was interested in playing ships, but it was rather empty : (
