Wow, I actually won in the lottery? Thank you for the special and thank you for the nice ship. Has been the best special I've been part of.

How can you have won anything, since the project r isn't even over yet? You might have the 260 pearls needed, but it's still missing ~400k pearls total and the special is running till 24.2.

ATF (+20% range up to 155 mm) Nerf Question
karma_compass replied to t3h3th32's topic in General Discussion
So you think it's ok to have a "necessary" skill on most of the CL's? Sure changing the skill makes playing different on some ships, but it should be. Not every ship is meant to shoot at the same range. Some need to be optimistic and go for the targets that are engaged with someone else etc. Adapt. Plus it evens the playing field (two Omaha's will be able to start the engagement only at the same time for example). And Kutuzov is an excellent ship even without the AFT. Hard to play well, but once you figure out how it works, the enemy is in a world of hurt. -
Shells either fall short or just too long over the target.

Actually the target in that picture isn't that much going away from you, as closing you a bit. And if you shot where you were aiming on the first picture, it was never going to hit the Baltimore. You both are moving ~30kts ~parallel, so when you fire you need to aim way in front of the target (as the flight time of the shell is 13s+). The only reason I can come up with is the dispersion in that case. Attach a replay here and people might be able to tell what's the real problem (no, it doesn't hinder your computer at any way to enable the wows client to save the replays). You just need to enable that feature. -
Love the camos you get on premiums now. The reason I didn't use camo on so many of those was because the (then useless) came was just so perfect (style before the purpose). What I'd like to see is the permanent camos you can add at least on the tier 6 cruisers to be more "realistic", and not a candycane-colours. I do applaud the possibility to make some of the ships kinda like semi-premiums. Makes the keepers more current in a way.

Here here. Have a +1 for that wisdom. I've had so many bad games during this launch weekend, because the teams aren't playing together. If anything I'd want to see more teams "lemming" one way. There's a reason the real (war)ships sail as a group. One win yesterday kinda saved my trust in this game, when the team actually stayed together, and people were singling the enemy ships. This really is a team based game, and you either win as a one, or lose as a multiple individuals. I'm sure it'll be easier in no time, when (some) the of the new players learn etc.

There really shouldn't be any lead indicator, since like others have said it before, the point should be the challenge and the reward you get from the fact when you learn. You don't need to shoot full salvoes all the time. First you range, then you actually start to do the hurtin'. Plus you already have the "time-to-reach-given-target" indicator. When I'm aiming something, I press alt to see just that. That gives you a rough idea how you should aim.
