Kai-Agano was still planned to be armed with 6"/50 Type 41, I believe. Leander's guns fire further, more often and with a heavier shell (with a larger burster). Secondaries also fire heavier shells further (and in technically faster too) So yes, C-44 Kai-Agano would be better at tier 6, rather than Agano itself. -
Au contraire, only at high tier to the Germans lack ships for lines. However in most casesthere are paper projects that will allow a full line (or maybe two). And motor torpedo boats would not be good in the game. Too fragile and not enough dakka.

True, but Leander's guns are superior all round. Too much for even the torpedoes to make up for, imho. -
Large Light Cruisers. Anyway, given the section, one of the books I got recent made a reference to a series of studies;Type 1937 J I, II, III & IV. The only details given thus far is that the last two are for large destroyers of over 5,400tons fulls displacement. Anything you can add?

Lots is a relative term. 3 (as its done by class), is not that big. And thats including the Deutschlands as battleships. Which branch they will come is still unknown. Fortunately, the Design teams were kept busy to avoid the Ostfront, and the German navy prior to National Socialism has enough to fill a tree.

Well the Hood had been around for a long time (in comparison), and was known across the world as a symbol of the power of the Royal Navy. She was also the biggest warship in the world for a long time.

Amatsukaze doesn't really vary enough from the Kagero class except for the turbines, which could theoretically be an engine preset. -

Whilst I do agree with some of the placements (Thionville, Duquesne, Richelieu) Some of them are quite badly misplaced (Hoche, Jeanne d'Arc, Duguay Trouin, La Galissonnere), however -

As with all classes, ships will be tiered by capability. Some nations will be able to take light cruisers to high tiers (e.g. the USN & RN), whilst others will not (IJN). -
Particularly as the fatal hit occurred right at the end of the window of opportunity, the order to turn having been given to bring her broadside to bear.
