The Cimarron oiler was the AI target for convoy mode when we tested that. "Leader" is the Nicholas (because its a destroyer leader project) Sakura was the tier 2 Japanese destroyer once upon a time. Under the name Tachibana. The rest of what I know has been covered.

Hunts are just as durable as any other destoyers. The WAIR conversions are basically Hunt Is. I was using the 4.7" gun for the V&Ws. However, the Hunt's have 1.5 times the range compared to a 4" armed V&W. With shells that are 4lb heavier Not to mention better torpedoes (when they have them)

The Hunts can fire 3-5 times as fast as the V&Ws or the Bourrasques. And as a consequence fire around 3 times as much shell weight per minute. Basically the Hunts are much better against lightly armoured targets, and as an AA escort. In the case of the Type III and Type IV the torpedoes would be point defence to help cover them and what they were escorting. In other words it doesn't play like a DD, which is another reason why it should be premium.

It depends on the destroyer. Anything contempory will eat it alive, but against something like the V&W classes or a Bourrasque and it'll do pretty well.

Well for an escort its pretty fast, and its gunpower is much better than most. Solution would be a relatively low tier for it to compensate.

You could fit all four Hunts in. (Type I, followed by Type II & Type III the tier above and Type IV the tier above that) The Type IV also had torpedoes. They would be good premiums because, as you show, they had a very wide operating base, and as a result they would sell well. Perhaps III, IV & V?

Except there aren't enough ships. There are 5 Tanks not built by the Chinese in their tree. There are plenty of designs that were made in China. The M3 Lee was a medium tank, not a tank destroyer. The M3 Lee was developed into the M4 Sherman, as a result of experience gained from the combat use of the Lee (by the British) That is due to difficulties in finding detailed information rather than a chronic lack of designs. The tier 5 hole in the Japanese cruiser line is because Furutaka hasn't been modelled yet. It is coming, however. So the answer to why not, is because there isn't enough ships. On the bright side, it is likely that there will be Polish ships as premiums (or British ships lent to the Poles with decal options) in the game in the future.

Navyweaps says 4-6. Also, thanks for the neg.

What if I told you it was because of historical precedent?
-
Its worth noting that the majority of ships required for the tree would be from the Admiralty archive rather than the extremely muddled and often incomplete archives of the private companies.

What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017

Tama did as well, as did Isuzu. Its worth noting that they did lose 5.5" guns like the Sendais when this happened. And sometime during CBT, its been like that for a while so its either low priority or due to complications -
Try changing the number of posts per page? 20 or 40 is best.

Its possible that Furutaka will only get the 7.9" guns, first in six single semi-turrets then in three twin turrets, whilst Aoba starts with the latter, and upgrades to the 8" gun in the same layout. Technically the Kuma class can carry a catapult and seaplane too. AA wise, the three 5,500t classes are all very similar in layout. -
11" and above main guns are Dreadnoughts (that is battleships and battlecruisers) Tier 1 for the British is a definite problem. One which I have no answer to. As for cruisers: Tier 2: Gem Tier 3: Caroline Bristol Tier 4: Danae Birmingham Tier 5: Emerald Hawkins Tier 6: Leander York Tier 7: Southampton County Tier 8: Edinburgh Paper Tier 9: Kai-Belfast Paper Tier 10: Neptune Paper Paper means I'm not sure. Kai-Belfast is more or less Belfast with 4.5" DP secondaries and Mk 24 main gun mounts. There are other sub-branches, but they have been omitted for clarity

The Town class, as a group, are much better than Chester. Also, there is enough variation to split the class into 3 more distinct sub-classes. Same applies to the Cs, County's and later Town class

Ibuki, Wasn't she a carrier?
mr3awsome replied to IllyasvielVonPanzunbern's topic in Age of Armour Warships
Bingo. Otherwise her AA would be as good as St Louis' (or there abouts) -
The cruisers covered here are heavy and armoured cruisers. Dido is a light cruiser. Personally, I would say tier 6 for the Didos.

Why atleast a premium RN ship is vital to release
mr3awsome replied to lethalbizzell's topic in General Discussion
Given how firing range currently is, I doubt that will be much of an issue. Compared to real life, all of their ranges exceed the longest hits obtained, so there shouldn't be too much of an issue. Hopefully. -

No. But I am sure that it isn't on the front page. Update: -

Potential damage comes from the size of the bursting charge. Hood fires nearly twice as much TNT equivalent as the other two per minute. -

There is no firm decision about Bismarck. Warspite is confirmed, on the other hand. -

Nagato is about 7 months newer (in terms of commissioning date). Nagato has the same maximum thickness of main belt as Hood, slightly weaker turret armour, slightly weaker deck armour, but better CT, bulkheads and slightly better barbettes. Hardly "decidely better protected". Colorado is definitely better protected, but 10 knots is a big speed advantage in Hood's favour, and offers much greater flexibility than Colorado. In terms of firepower, Hood chucks out 4000lb more shell per minute, and more than 300lb of TNT equivalent per minute (whilst this later number seems unimpressive, it total its nearly twice as much as the other two). With a bit less penetration, but still enough to crack either of the other two open. That was the early 1920s against the German Dreadnought Osfriesland. And 1940 edition Warspite would be better than an early 1920s version of one of her sisters, and worse than a mid-late war Queen Elizabeth or Valiant. It works. -
It really is the battleship Warspite.
