Wouldn't it make sense to get the same torps (with less damage maybe) on the minekaze rather than removing them completely?

Nice for you that it works out alalos. The 10 km torps worked better for me. If they really were that bad as you say they were, i'd like to ask you why exactly you think they removed them then? Forcing players to play a different style when the next tier actually gives the same option makes no sense to me.

Basically there is no point in upgrading from an isokaze ;) That is, until they nerf that too, but then people here will say "but i always used the higher rate of fire torps, they were better anyway!!" The combination of the visibility nerf and the removal of the 10 km torps kind of killed the way i preferred to play this ship. To be able to play the same playstyle as before im forced to grind to tier 6 to get even shittier torps (6 km) and grind further to get the proper ones... Honestly, i can't be arsed to do that. I'd rather play with the nice and relaxing wyoming instead, leaving the DD tree behind with the exception of maybe 1-2 games per day.

You've got worse guns, same torps and slighly higher speed (but shittier turn rate) compared to isokaze in exchange you are fighting in the higher tier with more carriers that have more fighters to detect you. The 10 km torps at least were worth the upgrade, now there isn't much interesting to the ship compared to the isokaze.

So what's the point in grabbing a minekaze over a isokaze? Cons: Minekaze has slower gun rotation (25% slower), terrible gun range (smaller than torp range), slower torp reload speed, bigger turning radius, and meets higher tier ships Pros: It's a bit faster (and has a bit more health but that's nothing compared to the other DDs).

Better than the minekaze currently (imo), which is supposed to be the next tier. I see no point in playing my minekaze when the isokaze wins in almost all aspects but speed...
