Also, let's not forget, what might be the right thing to do in one ship in one game might not be the right thing to do in what look like the same circumstances, in the same ship, in a different game.

To be fair even the best players make mistakes. They just do it more rarely than the..less good ones.

If my Salem, and a few games I've seen played in Des Memes over on Twitch are anything to go by the Des Moines is still a very solid tier 10 and doing just fine.

You're welcome. As much as I despize the USN "standard" battleships (ie the 21 knot ones) I did learn a lot about positioning when playing through them.

Already told you, American battleships. The slow speed will drive you up the wall, but the proper map positioning they force you to learn will make you thank me later.

Let's face it, the most beginner friendly lines in the game the German battleships and Russian cruisers certainly are not.

With your number of battles, neither. Go and play some American BB's.

Won what I wanted, the coal. Bid 75m credits, but would have won with 60m.

Easy: Shoot more DD's, Cruisers, Carriers, and Subs. Those give you a lot more earnings per point of damage dealt than BB's ever will.

That and the hungrier you get the more upset you tend to get. Which will only get worse as the games start going worse because of you not playing your best due to being upset. Vicious cycle if there ever was a one.

Addendum to the previous post. Will say this much though, as a piece of advice, never ever play this game on a empty stomach.

Same basic theory as with Tulsa at tier 9 while we're at it, compared with Salem/Des Moines. Neither of which has gone anywhere which is no doubt not doing Tulsa any favours..

The problem is not the ship. It's the number of players that think she's a CV first and a BB second while it's very much the other way around.

A lot of the French can understand english just fine, they just choose not to acknowledge it, which is a whole another discussion. Friendly suggestion: At least try a European language before you try Japanese, even if it basically means "good luck"
