    Indeed. Which is why I always take priority target as the first skill. Knowing when you're being aimed at is the first step to knowing when to apply your wasd hax.

    Indeed. But that does not mean that that simple statement I made above is any less of a good one to live by as a cruiser driver, light or heavy. Nb that I am not advocating hiding when you can do more good for your team otherwise, I am talking about maneuvering to avoid shell fire rather than trying to rely on your armor stopping said shell fire.

    A lot of the heavy cruisers fall into that category as well, to be fair. Especially the USN and IJN mid tiers.

    Only played a couple, pretty good both though. Especially that second one seeing as we only had three players on the team.

    Just ran into @Admiral_H_Nelson in a pve game, me in the Abruzzi, he in a Martel. Ended up the top two on the team so a game well played sir.

    To be honest: Tier 5 game, or a tier 7 game, Kongou does not care. She can, in the right hands, perform well in either.

    I'm not even a native English speaker and I am considerably less offended by the supposed massacration of Italy's navy than by the OP's abuse of the English language. As to your post mr @Annibale19ITA let me remind you that just because your guns can reach out that far does not mean you can hit anything at that range. As that is well beyond the point any ship can aim for herself. Edit: Simplicity itself actually: Not as much demand.

    AP is all about knowing where to aim basically. And that comes with practice.

    Presumably for the same reason the Albany doesn't get alternative camo either. These alternative camo's are a bit hit and miss anyway. Do like the 'Bama one though. (included)

    AP, use it. Also, forget right now this bs about her being a "pocket battleship" she is, apart from those unreliable 280mm guns, very much a cruiser, and a not particularly well armored one at that. Wouldn't call myself a Graf Spee expert, but I have found remembering those two things helps, a lot. Also, don't forget the other two tools you have in your shed, your very good (for a cruiser) secondaries, and those torps.
