    A very mediocre one at that. Given up on the Mikoyan personally, but am now up to 770 at least thanks to her and the Bagration.

    Assuming nothing, both the Thunderer and especially the Smolensk can lob their shells over more islands than Yamato can.

    Don't have a Yamato, but I do have a Musashi, and I have done just that..With varying degrees of success to be fair.. BUT you are either forgetting or willfully ignoring the fact that taking heat off the rest of your team (aka tanking) is a BB's JOB, not hanging back at maximum range and acting like WOWS take on WOT artillery, that's the CARRIERS.

    Kill them before they kill you of course. Also, a Thunderer shooting HE is far less dangerous than a Thunderer shooting AP.

    Bonus: Gave up on Mikoyan, after seven games played in her I have been unable to see any time where my Kirov would not have done better. Got this to help with the tokens and captain training instead.

    For all their questionable morality, the Kaiten were more usefull than the floatplane. Also, unless I badly mis remember the layout of these subs, the mounts for the rear Kaiten is where the hangar would have been originally.

    "Small" only compared with the carrier subs. As I recall some of their larger conventional subs were of a size of a USN Gato..

    To be fair, that was only two (or was it three) classes. The IJN had plenty of more conventional subs that would be far less problematic to implement.

    Planning to, and right on schedule to, get the Tallinn through tokens just before 9,5 hits. With the help of my Bagration and Mikoyan, both of which are also helping train the future Tallinn skipper.

    Definetly do not need 37mm of HE pen at tier 5, and you're right, she is not. That having been said it doesn't really hurt, and it should be a lot more usefull in the Bagration/Tallinn..

    Congratulations. Now if I could just decide if I liked the Mikoyan or not..After five games she definetly does have some strong points, the only question is do they counter her litany of flaws.

    Note the correction, thursday, not wednesday. Also, you could technically still get 315, not 210, as there is one more left after next weeks'.
