Should be noted that the Bayard is noticably more agile, especially when you factor in the fact she has a engine boost (and is two knots faster than Mainz even when its not active), not to mention a faster rudder shift (1 second faster, slightly countered by Mainz having a 10m tighter turning radius) And then there's the "small" matter of Bayard's main battery reload booster..

Speaking as someone who has both of them, I say they are both good. Think I like Mainz more out of the two though..

Not the only one. And seeing as I have no interest in the RB Siegfried is out of reach.. Also, as much as I like to say that WoWS isn't a beauty contest, the German supercruiser twins are actually nice looking ships, aestetically.

Almost every time is a slight exxageration, but well..opinions are opinions, not fact, no matter how much some people like to think otherwise. Also, it's a fact that how well you do in a ship only has a small part in the equation of whether you like it or not..

As strong as Thunderer is she's not a credit printer. If you want a crew trainer then it's Thunderer hands down. German: Tirpitz, easily.
