Riga T9 Heavy Russian cruiser guide + build & captain skills
lafeel replied to Adm_Ballsey's topic in Cruisers
Why you play the Tallinn to get the xp. Should cost around 170k xp based off past xp cost expiriences, and she will appear in the tech tree next patch, 9,6, so if you have the required xp you can research her immediately.- 6 replies

Looks like it.

She's also not really mobile enough to get into position to punish broadsides reliably, even if ships are distracted by others.
-
I personally think that "armored cruiser" is the most appropriate English version of Panzerschiff, if not a direct translation. "Pocket battleship" as a designation is, quite frankly, total bull*edited*
-
Wrong place for it, should take it up with your local goverment then.

Bad? Hardly, just very hard to master, those are not the same thing.

To be entirely fair he is a newbie (800 games played give or take) -
The 1,000,000 XP Question - Agir, Azuma, Alaska?

Should also work a treat for that cruiser mission in part 4 of the dockyard assuming you've gotten that far.. -
The 1,000,000 XP Question - Agir, Azuma, Alaska?
lafeel replied to invicta2012's topic in General Discussion
Hope you have lots of fun with her, and if you have any great games, please share. -
The best Pan Asian premium DD even, while Silliwangi lands squarely in the "mediocre" category. And it is fair to compare DD's from the same nation and tier not just DD's of the same tier.

The 1,000,000 XP Question - Agir, Azuma, Alaska?
lafeel replied to invicta2012's topic in General Discussion
She is, and quite easily at that, the safest choice at this point. -
Even ignoring the Öland as they're not the same nationality, even a comparison between the Silliwangi and Loyang, which is a fellow Pan Asian ship ends over all very poorly for the former.

Or the I-3000 from Konpeki no Kantai (no please don't, she'd be OP as *EDITED*)

Well the time needed to fire 202 shells from a Atago, never mind landing that many, is considerable, so it's hardly surprising it was a impressive game xp wise. Well played sir. -
Hey some of us play DD's every day, in fact today I played nothing other than DD's (trying to figure out which of the DD missions to go for in directive 4 (so far leaning towards the pasian/ijn one))
-
Fun fact: The RN intially thought the U's would only be usefull for training. Turned out they were quite effective in the Med, as the RM can rightly attest to..
-
Not as large as the Soviets did however, or the IJN. Or the Americans. Laugh all you want at the VMF, this was the one area they were strong in, it's not really their fault that circumstances made them largely unable to use said submarine fleet as it was intended to be used.

Got nothing more to add except: Drive her, like you stole her.
-
Things usually do. But the better question is, it it worth the four captain points.
-
To be entirely fair, LWM has no doubt done plenty of such testing herself, she's not just pulling those numbers out of thin air..

Akizuki in port, triple carroussel. wrong tier display.
lafeel replied to Scorpicore's topic in Archive
Uninstall any UI mods and see if that fixes the issue. -

A DD kind of day, here's what turned out to be the best results in a (at the time) stock Akizuki. -
How was that old saying, oh right "make a man a fire and he'll be warm for today, light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life"
