Sooner, or later. Just pray hard, that they be less stubborn than I and check out at the least SOME the gudes BEFORE potatoing the first 2.5000 games. Hehehehe! Meanwhile, I actually remain greatly amused. It is quite uncanny, how you can tell early on in the game, when we are about to get a paddlin' just by observing how your team mates are maneuvering even before any enemy has been spotted. I will then just adjust accordingly and concentrate on personal score instead of risking all to win and expecting any support from the team. You know, just trying to make the best of it meanwhile, sometimes it works.

Did the same thing... The 1.5 second shell switch time (I had always previously though the entire "Expert loader" skill rather useless, except possibly for a BB and not so sure about that either) is actually proving quite useful.

Yeah, @stewie533it is funny what happens quite often actually - One of my division mates actually recently ran out of planes in one match in Zuiho and then managed to ram an unsuspecting enemy Kaiser, who charged forth from behind the island thinking he would get an easy kill. Well he got a kill allright, just not quite the way he had expected... Hehehe!

Yeeah, I suspect it might have to do with Steam also. More new players coming in = More Battlesheep!

True dat @T0byJug, perhaps in the front face of the superstructure or like some totally anonymous and unknown person (no idea, who tah might be, honestly) has already suggested, the funnel would allow it to be more prominent.

Well ships historically had Crests on the bow or identifying markings (number) on the side of the front superstructure. These might also be viable spots. Bow would be my personal favorite...

Naah! @it3llig3nc3 That's all right dude. It is what it is, sometimes you get many in a row and then nothing for months. After the previous mean streak I had no detonations at all in any ship for 6 months until just last week, when my Kuma joined the IJN "Flying Boat Squadron" in a rather spectacular fashion (I bet the other flying boats were rather surprised to see me up there too though). I have been using both the torp flooding chance AND the fire chance flags simultaneously without the protection and no hassle. Sometimes you just can't get a break when Mr Murphy comes to pay a visit that's all. They could make the explosions a bit more fun and showy tho (a few chuckles never hurt anybody right?). Would love to have seen myself represented by Captain Bad Advise flying like the Baron Munchausen along with those squadrons up there.WHEEE!!!

At one point I was rather convinced that it would be Kuma (no armor, rudder made of paper and a monkey as a captain - No a teddy bear but anyway) BUT then it turned out that it was just me, who sucked. Fortunately I got better and it's all good now (well sorta, similar-ish issues with Mogami now).

PFFTH! AMATEUR! My personal record is 5 detonations - 5 games in Yugumo. Because, you know... No need to put the flag on because it won't happen again so soon right? Expanded all the swearwords in several known and a few unknown languages, spilled my coffee (I deeply regret that one) and then switched to Kagero for the rest of the day without further incident (and put on the blasted flag too just for good measure)... One day I might try and go for 6 - The new record - There should definitely be a "spechul player" award for that.

Yes, I can definitely confirm that this is true... Had a Yamatou last weekend, who accidentally consumed several from 2 bucketfulls of fish I had graciously sent his way on a hunch. He WAS very salty indeed in chat afterwards. Somehow I got the impression he does not fully appreciate, just how awesome Yugumo's torp booster really is. Go figure, some people eh?

True dat... That's exactly why I have this deep-rooted personal conviction never to eat fish. Too much Herring (Gramps liked to fish was unfortunately very good at it) when I was a kid, I tell you there is only so much pickled herring a man can take - So now I got this horrible aversion to fish and a Lifetime trauma.

Well @Negativvv, @iJoby Musashi would be quite OK, IF she was actually able to benefit from excellent secondaries to compensate for poor AA as one could perhaps reasonably expect (and that means BRAWLING). BUT unfortunately she still sports the standard IJN armor and high citadel-scheme which renders her just another IJN sniper without the ability to risk going to close quarters and rather MEH secondaries (I tried secondary build, not too impressive) which are of no use to you, when sniping from 20km away. So in the end it seems a rather failed compromise. WG has somehow contrived to sabotage the ship to such extent that the outcome completely negates her single most important distinguishing feature (supposedly awesome secondary battery). Sad, since I wanted her very badly (finally an IJN BB, which could brawl) and am now relegated to learning to use her as just another MEH camper-sniper-thingy. Of course, admittedly I would still have gotten her just for the collection. But reality just did not meet with the expectation, that's all.

Yupp, you're absolutely right there lad. When playing Shima, I actually hope to get a few kutuzovs into the game just so I can torp them into their smokes. My current record stands at 3 kills with 1 salvo (15 torps) on a 3 Kutuzov division sitting blithely still in their smokes and trying to cap B in the "Loop"-map while I capped A. Fun times. Got mysteriously reported 3 times after that match tho. Hhehehe!

Hheeey! I could swear that the IJN Cruisers are way WAY squishier that their US counterparts tier-per-tier. Well, OK Pensacola might be an exception and the equal of Myoko in terms of overall squishiness tho, but otherwise.

Well @Taliesn, you could always config her as a dedicated DD hunter with Radar and Hydro and follow the DD's to cap. Very High risk, but definitely fun. Works well, if your DD is not braindead and gives you smoke, otherwise you get plastered. Avoid tailing a Yugumo with torp booster tho...

That is indeed a very serious and debilitating condition indeed. There is no known cure however. But perhaps uninstalling would help?

Woot? Doesn't it already do all that by default anyway? I always have the same harbor (Zipangu) and my choice ship (Mogami) ready every time I log in. or is that just by accident or something?

True dat @Jethro_Grey my friend but then they are all CA anyways... The new line is CL, so they are very much an open question so far. And who knows? They might actually improve Pensacola a bit while at it too? As for the king of the new line, Worchester... I suspect it might be just like its namesake sauce. A mysterious, complex, yet distinct and versatile ship to be savored by the connoisseur.
