They also told me I could have cookies and cake, but it never happened... It is sooo wrong! WAH! Sorry, but it was impossible to resist. Otherwise yeah, I do doubt if those banning thingys actually happen tho since I keep bumping into such as*holes myself from time-to-time. But luckily it is not very often and most cases are clearly accidents (I also count sheer idiocy, as an accident for now anyways). Perhaps, if the player would turn pink immediately DURING the match after the first hit + begin suffering the appropriate damage penalty to himself if he/she continued the malarkey after the first shots landed. -
Aww crapola... So they DID do it in the 1941 config then. So I will be forced to buy it at some stage, djaam! It is a horrible thing when they do stuff like that and I obviously have no choice. Sigh!

Weel, some funny sh*t happens occasionally... Somehow got reminded of an enemy Kongo in this morning's game. Who spent some time in chat telling me (in Fubuki at the time) that I should learn to know my torp range first before attempting to play DD... It turns out I did... I hope he was laughing as hard as I was. In fairness tho, what he did not realize at the time is that there were actually 2 Fubuki's after him...

Eheeheheh,Isalani my lad I even got one feller throwing the "Noob"-line, when in a division with a friend of mine in a Tier 1 match. I was beside myself, I can tell ya. I just couldn't understand HOW the genius managed to figure that one out, so I had to ask him. Quite sadly though, he never enlightened me, so I was left to wallow in the despair of my ignorance. It keeps me awake at nights. We did lose, of course, being a bunch of Noobs and all, our hero had actually been the 3rd one to die, but not sure if that counts. Maybe he did on purpose just to give the rest of us a better learning experience.

True dat also dCK_Ad_Hominem and I have indeed read about the pacific war a lost, though I personally do not fancy CV's much so I tend to ignore CV-related stuff. Also one could well argue that had the AA arrangements been effective the USN might have had much more problems to get those fires going in the first place. But then again, one could discuss which came first, the Chicken or the Egg issues Ad Nauseam without getting much anywhere. As long as we classify them all as pretty stupid I will be perfectly satisfied with the result.

What's the point in keeping tier 9 ships after unlocking tier 10 for a almost F2P player?
RAHJAILARI replied to Favuz's topic in General Discussion
Personally, I have kept 1 ship of each type for each tier from 2 to 10, because I prefer to play in division with my friends and you seem to get better MM, if you all have the same tier ships (so if they take tier 9, then I can do the same) and thus possibly avoid the dreaded "fail division". Of course, you still end up in tier 10 games much of the time but tier 9's are quite good enough to do well and will provide some additional ship choices to mitigate chances of boredom. I also like my Yugumo and Ibuki very much so I'm keepin' them for further entertainment. -
NAAH! Sorry dude, but it seems you just used up all your allotted Lottery chances for this lifetime on those containers... Congrats anyway, gives me hope that I'll eventually win something else that additional Spotting Aircraft mods...

You're absolutely right there, the Japanese AA suffered especially badly from a woeful lack of Mid-range medium-caliber fast-firing AA (37-40mm), so their AA "umbrella" had a huge gap in-between the close-range and long range heavy AA in which neither could effectively counter incoming planes. Rather ironically, they actually HAD a license to produce the now iconic 40mm Bofors AA gun (since 1030's - Acquired well before the war) so much favored by practically everyone else, but failed to put it into production. They also acquired the German 37mm AA gun, but neither used or manufactured them in any significant numbers. This has to be one of the most devastating and baffling oversights by any army or Navy during the 2 WW.

Proposal to WG: Implement a super upgrade exchange option

Holy Mackerel! -
That would ALSO explain so many things... However, that said, I can see, how Yamato might be at a disadvantage at tier 10. Please note: I am not saying it is, since I have barely played it - So I had no idea some felt this way. BUT Yamato is after all, the only tier 10 BB, which has actually been built! This is also the only reason why she is the only tier 10 BB I have bothered to get for myself (silly old, it has to be a "real ship rule"). So it would be weighed down by factors such as actual performance and existing ship stats, while her Fantasy counterparts can quite freely be "adjusted" to have any stats and to perform any ole way... Of course, most high tier Cruisers mentioned here (Hindenburg & Zao), also represent the awesome Fantasy genre of ships, so naturally they should be able to citadel her, after all - Why not? Not saying that paper ships should not exist BTW, since they do fill-in the caps and are thus unavoidably necessary to keep the game alive. After all without them, Yamato would be quite stranded at Tier 10 all by her lonesome.

Proposal to WG: Implement a super upgrade exchange option
RAHJAILARI replied to 22cm's topic in General Discussion
Awesome suggestion" I can finally exchange my 6 Spotting Aircraft mods for something... Anything really. -
Hmmh... Well, I am pretty sure they have already removed the Conqueror's citadel entirely and somehow smuggled it aboard my Nurnberg... That would explain so many things...
-
Now now, you guys are just trying to depress me on purpose... I'm not sure my poor liver can take much more of this...
-
A VERY, VERY lucky game in Nurnberg Aragathor my friend, providing no-one sneezes at your general direction and thus accidentally pens it to death...

THIS IS THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM COMRADE. You breathe my air, you pay for it or Haaargh!

Aaahhah! LastButterfly But they STILL could have been made out of wood. Mosquito was and it was a frigging airplane. Perhaps they just kept that a secret? Who says insanity is dead, eh? And I can come up with even better theories....
-
You are sSooo mean LastButterfly they also invented the famous shooting all your cutlery at the enemy bit... Yarr! ... Or was it the pirates? Hmmm... There, many reloads sorted...
-
HHeeey! Don't be so sure AND they would still have the kitchen sink to back it up. AWESOME!
-
Not so sure about that but Gallant and Campbeltown do, so there is certainly some possibility of that.happening.

Oh yeah, unlimited time - Sure. BUT Will any of us live long enough to see the day? You would need a good CV for a partner, lots of unspent Lottery-winners kick*ss luck and a complete moron for a CV opponent, who will actually send all his planes to exactly where you happen to be time and again just to be repeatedly slaughtered instead of changing target. AND of course, make sure that no-one else in your own team makes the mistake of accidentally shooting anything down... So yeah, I fully support your proposal of trying anothjer task instead... -
I just hope they will be decent, solid, ordinary good ole-fashioned DD's and not the gimmicky ones WG has bee spewing out for British ships and Pan-Asians so far. Fingers crossed and knock on wood there...
