Here i was on my 2nd game with the Mahan. 4.5km torps and the commander still retraining thinking it will be a horrible grind. Somehow ended up with this result laughing out loud at the result screen. And i was happy with my other 10k xp games but this was just crazy. I`m wondering what have been other players best results so far. Please share

I just had a game with my Hatsuharu destroyer. At one point i hit a Mogami with a torpedo in the front of the ship doing 300 damage. Yes you read that correctly 300 damage. I was watching it, never shot a gun, it gave me the torpedo hit indicator plus flooding indicator. The health of the Mogami did not drop, it really did 300 damage. Is this somehow possible that a 16000 damage torpedo normally doing 10 k ish was a dud haha. I cant explain it I was kinda stunned when i saw it haha

And besides the math us destroyers like the farragut have to sail 2 km in plain sight to drop his torps, i think you have plenty of time reacting if not ambushed

I always escort bb or cv`s when there hugely outtiered or numbered in my cruisers, especially at the start of the game and still get great games. You will help yourself by saving your teammates from some torpedo or divebombers.

I somehow really like the Pensacola and i`m getting great games with it, I had games with over 5000 xp with it. At first it was a big change from the Cleveland, It doenst have the high ROF as the Cleveland, but the 203mm guns are great none the less, At start of games i usually hang around back supporting bb and carriers with my good aa ( i do have the commander talents) and also shooting long range and killing destroyers or any cruisers charging in. Know when to use ap and you can do some great damage. Dont show your broadside.. you will receive citadel shots. Dont go charging in to small paths with no room to manouvre.

I was also wondering how to play this thing. You have the range with this bb but the gunners seem to be drunk because your shots will land everywhere but where you aim at. However last game i found out how to play it, I had 6000 health left on fire and saw a juicy full health bb in front of me... full speed ahead and do the honorable thing, Kaaaaamikazi all the way with your speed: 40.000 ramming damage haha
