  1. I have had a few games where this has happened: I have received the Clear sky archivement even though I have not shot down 30 enemy planes. I see two options 1) The clear sky no longer requires 30 planes to be shot down 2) The Barrage fire from fighters will hit your own planes as well as enemy planes. These planes are then counted to the limit of 30 planes. I have usually sent one fighter squadron to encage enemy fighter swarm while the other fighter squadron comes a bit later to do a barrage fire on the enemy fighter cluster. It's possible that I have shot down own fighters with the barrage fire, but I can't confim this. I only see games where I have shot down 28 planes and have received the Clear sky. Edit: Replaced the original screenshot with a better one, one that shows a total of 28 shot planes.

Clear sky archivement from 28 planes

Edited the original post. Attached a screen shot that shows a total of 28 shot planes but with a clear sky archivement. Also, this time I clearly saw a case where US fighters were fighting 1v1 vs japanese fighters and then my other fighter squadron came to do a barrage fire. It caused more losses to my own planes than enemy planes. This post contains a screenshot of the end of battle where I have killed 29 planes but got clear sky. Edit: Added the screenshot that was missing from this post.

Clear sky archivement from 28 planes

Ah... Bad screen shot. Or perhaps I was wrong. I'll try to reproduce the situation and take a screenshot of a situation where I don't have any waiting plane kills. Perhaps I was mistaken after all.

Ships aren't where they appear to be in most games.

Update: Yesterday I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it during the night. Today when I first played it everything worked fine. Later same day I had the bad days, the game was constantly out of sync and showed ships in incorrect locations and made the ships react to commands after 5 second delay. I did some tests. I changed the sound device to a different one, no difference. I turned firewall to game mode and turned the antivirus off, no difference. I restarted my modem and computer a few times, no difference. Then I modified the graphic settings. I removed the vertical synchronization and suddenly the game started working fine, I did not even have to restart the computer. I'll keep monitoring the situation and I'll give a new post if the game has the the same problems with these settings.

I have this problem also. However, I noticed that I have an extra symptom. Often everything works fine, no lags and very good ping. Everything is just fine. (Except that I'm usually able to enter the game only about 30 seconds after the game has started, the loading bar has long empty wait times before and after the load bar starts moving and finishes moving). That's the good times. Then there are the bad times. When the bad times happen, the game is unplayable. I see shells hitting water and ship near them loses HP. I see torpedoes passing through the ships and miss them. I tilt the rudder and the ship starts reacting after 5 seconds. When I restart my computer, the situation is sometimes fixed but usually not. Better luck next day.. But I have noticed that when the bad times are active, I have an extra symptom. The sound at the log in screen is garbled. As soon as I get to the log in screen I already know if the game is playable or not, based on the sound there. If the music there sounds like it's coming from a bad C-cassette, I know it's time to try to restart the computer and hope for the best. Also the loading before the log in screen is much slower when the bad times are active. I just uninstalled the game and I'll leave the game to reinstall during the night. Let's see if that has any effect. Next I'll try to swap my sound device from Sound blaster Tactic 3D rage wireless to an actual hardware sound card to see if it has any effect.. I'll raport if I find anything out.
  6. The stock Hatsuharu (tier VII Japanese destroyer) comes with 3 main turrets: 1x1 and 2x2 guns. So in total 5 gun barrels. It has an artillery value of 24. The Hatsuharu 1945 hull upgrade reduces the guns from 3 to 2 and the artillery statistics in ship panel is reduced by 2 to 22. The 1945 Hatsuharu only has 2x2 main battery. No other changes are done to the main battery. The artillery statistics drop of 2 points does not match the actual reduction in the guns. if the stock Hatsuharu has 5 barrels and artillery value of 24, then the same ship with 4 barrels should have an artillery value of 19.2 as the ship now has only 4/5 of the original firepower. Similar changes are in other ship upgrades also, for example Farragut 1942 upgrade reduces the batteries from 5 to 4 and artillery from 28 to 25. Actual artillery value after the upgrade should be 22.4 as the Farragut 1942 only has 4/5 of the original firepower. In short, some of the upgrades are mostly downgrades but the actual amount of the downgrade is hidden by the false artillery statistic.
