1) Implying that CVs are no skilled, or bots are no skilled? Because I'd take a bot over an average player any day of the week. 2) Yes, let's just have CVs fighting each other and nothing else, what a fun idea that won't drive CVs down to extinction or anything. b) Actually being a threat to the ships you're supposed to deal damage to is toxic? Wow, duly noted. With that reasoning, BBs are super duper toxic, as they're extremely threatening to CAs, DDs and CVs alike. Wait, you're not serious are you? Semi-balanced? Tell me with a straight face that an NC has balanced AA, that thing is closer to tierX standard than it is to tier8. There are BBs with so much damn AA that they don't just mitigate, but annihilate entire strike forces alone. The only semi-balanced AA is globally the Japanese, and mostly because they have the decency to have trashy DP batteries that don't become death incarnate from 5km away with manual AA.

I got that too. I interpreted it as WG apologizing for a series of simply embarassing RNG rolls, such as being citpenned in a Dunkek by a Pensacola at 15km (just how?), and a Nicholas triple firing me in 2 salvoes, and doing it again in 3 salvoes right after the repair stopped.

There's only one destroyer class that would blow past 40knots, the rest would be quite average.It think on the whole they'll be rather run of the mill with a few interesting oddities, like the Dunkerque and Richelieu's twin forward quad turret layout, and Le Fantasque's "gotta go fast" philosophy. But as long as the key tiers (6-8-10) have competitive and fun ships, it'll be a successful branch. And right now, it's looking good for it, with the Dunkerque at tier6, and Richelieu being a strong contender for tier8. I wonder what the hell they're going to do for cruisers though...

I actually met him in battle once, the day after RN cruisers were released. I complained that the Emerald is crap during the battle. He went on to defend the ship to no end, saying that I was the bad player that should just learn to play, that RN cruisers pre-Leander were all fine. Ever since, I've looked at all his posts with the grainiest of salt grains. And now he basically wants a tier7 machine that'd make the Gneisenau look tame and reasonable.

Germans made out of paper? Past tier6, Germans have the most effective armor, apart from gud balence bow tanking NO, Baltimore and Moskva. And even then, a Hipper plowing bow first into an enemy is no laughing matter. If you only talking about tier5-6, then yes, the Konigsberg and Nurnberg are flimsy as hell, even more so than a Furytaco or Aoba. But I mean, you get 16km range on decently maneuverable ships. You can't have everything. As for the Hipper maneuverability? Sure the rudder is a bit slow, but there's absolutely NO excuse not to get the enhanced rudder shift module that bring it down to cruiser standards, by which point the Hipper have the second best tier8 CA/CL maneuverability, after the NO (Mogami needing the stealth module). The Hipper is a strong as **** ship, and the only trouble it has is adjusting to the herp derp BalanceBoat camping, because of its very poor HE. Yorck? She's odd, but she works just fine.

You could have just said that with the amount of violating it does, it has to be a dude. A very angry dude.

Taking a wild guess... 60%+ battles in BBs, with very little DDs and no CV games, very probably a very bad player as well. If the main problem comes from the hoist, with a secondary problem being inadequate supplies, I dare say that a wave of a magic wand would make those problems disappear. That's what they did with the Kirov's atrocious accuracy due to mechanical problems.

I went to check as well, and indeed, the figure I had in mind (around 870m/s) was for coastal batteries. The KGV didn't use super charges, and only went a paltry 760m/s Jesus RN, what were you thinking? That said, the point still stands that the KGV at tier7 would make even the Gneisenau look flimsy, nevermind the Nagato and Colorado, all while keeping a larger amount of guns than all of them. Not exactly encouraging. An interesting, yet not particularily historically accurate, solution would be to give the ship super charges. If the main concern for those things were barrel wear, then it absolutely fails to be of any relevance for ingame purposes. It's not pretty, but it's better than going on proposed changes than never saw the light of day.

Except that a bigger caliber gun doesn't automatically mean more effective damage. I'd rather have the Dunkerque's 330mm guns than the New York's 356mm potato cannon. As a tier 5, I'd rather face a slower, less armored ship with poor ballistics leading to less reliable damage despite a larger caliber rather than a 28 knot armored monstrosity that can hit reliably thanks to high velocity guns.

Yes I'm sure 57% WR (a little under my global WR) in over 100 battles is me being useless to my team. Try again I also deal massive damage to IJN and USN superstructure with my CAs and CLs, right up to the moment when they not only angle but have damage mitigation. At that moment, all you're left with is trying to overpen bow and aft, or get in close enough to reliably hit that thin strip of armor people keep going on about, as if it had any real relevance to anyone fighting beyond knifefight-range. Yes tell me just how much bigger they are compared to the Iowa or the Amagi. The hydro lets you dodge some torpedoes, and the speed bleeding lets you dodge some others. Again, better dodging than the others. Also, top ****ing kek at "they receive more HE damage", considering they have armored decksthat are COMPLETELY damage-proff from 152mm guns from the start. And AGAIN, top kek at "massive normal pen damage" when a) some of it is repairable b) any other non herp derp BB in a full broadside scenario (bar an act of RNGesus) would suffer IMMENSELY, and much more than a "15-20k" salvo you love to go on about, as if half of that damage wasn't overpen damage which you could in part repair. So that 15-20k salvo is realistically more of a 10-15k damage. So you allow yourself to judge my stats, despite me being in a similar scenario?Nice.Fact: German BBs are overperforming serverwide by over 2%WR and a few thousand damage at every tier save for tier6 (for some odd reason, despite it being one of the stronger of the line), and that over the past 2 weeks, with similar stats recurring.Try to dispute that.
