Long and distant past I remember a suggestion to mine the 'over the line' area of the map, to discourage folk hugging the edge. I thought this was an excellent idea personally. Other than that, situational awareness is the solution to all problems regarding the edge of the map.

As a DD/BB player CVs now* make my game unfun. The reasons are all listed a hundred times above so I'll not re-list. Sadly, CV players are also complaining that their games are unfun, and expensive, so it seems to me WGN really need to apply some change. Flame my view all you like but my bottom line is this, I'll still play the game, but until the unfun CV factors are removed, I won't be spending any more real money in WOWS, it really is that simple.
