General Submarines related discussions
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to YabbaCoe's topic in General Discussion
I'm just really sorry to see this massive endeavour by the art, sound, testing and coding department once again be ruined by incompetent producers and gamedesigners. -
Yeah it's bizarre in the current market really, I've bought 3 awesome full titles for that amount which I'm playing right now. The 50% off for a year premium is decent, the full price? Not so much. That offer is only valid for a few days a year. OP's point still stands for the rest of the year and all other pricing.

Plz. No Pr0n. :(

It is not only still a possibility mate, it's real. I've been thrown into 4 matches with 4 carriers of which 1 4 T6 carriers , 4 T6\T8's and 1 match with 4 T8 cariers in my last week of playing. I had one 2x2 carrier match each day in 3 or 4 matches played in my last 2 days. The other 2 matches were 3 days prior to that. These were normal matches with normal waiting times and at very regular hours. As you people apparantly can't control your own frikkin game, I uninstalled it and am currently playing a myrad of fun games I bought instead. Why you people insist on beating this once great game into a pulp of bizarre gameplay design flaws is a mystery to me. Enjoy your extraordinairy rare experience.

Although depth charges airstrike is currently risk-free, the settings of the individual bombs did not allow for reliable damage to submarines. Yes, it was the settings. Not the lack of, say, being able to align the airstrike attack with the direction the sub is sailing. Currently, a significant amount of damage is done without sonar pings at all, although we believe that keeping the double ping effect on the target is what the submarine commander should strive for, as this interaction has both the skill requirements for the submarine player and the way to counter it from the surface ship. Yes, yes! Double pinging and pressing the DCP key are compelling gameplay features so you should defo keep doubeling down on those two elements. Player pings twice. The other player clicks a keyboard key. Yep. Great stuff /S

I used to be a bb player like you, then I took a BALANS in the knee
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to ARE_YOU_HUMAN's topic in General Discussion
When I came back I played BB's only, I used to be a DD/CA/CL main. I like the relaxed playstyle of BB's, never did before. In my last BB match I got double focused by 2 VIII carriers (again), my until then perfectly happy mood plummeted into stinky disgust. Uninstalled the game, again ^^ -
Low tiers? Try mid tiers. Had TVIII 4x carrier matches twice last week, 1 mixed TVI and TVIII 4x carrier match and another TVI 4x carrier match. Lesta can stick this game in their royal russian arse. ^^

I guess nothing. Bye!

Holy mother of cringe ^^ Glad you learned a lot!

The best thing you can do is spend your game money on cool games like Mutant Year Zero for example.

It's the feigned ignorance that tickled my xmas balls. ^^

PS: Yes, lets start xmas with a white lie

We can store that hope with all the other hope we have of getting truly awesome carrier gameplay or well designed sub counterplay and such, to quote one of the YouTubers out there, and trade them forum tears of the salty variety.

I do like this clip because it reenacts being in a toxic relationship at Xmas.

Haha. No. I don't think we can.

Can RNG stop your ship from getting out of the way?
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
There is not some odd rng coded variable that stops your ship in order for shells to hit you. Otherwise, yes there are random occuring things that can cause your ship to stop. Fat fingers, damage to engine and or rudder for example, underwater sea bed extravaganza, maybe the odd wreck, who knows. So the direct answer is 'No'. The indirect answer is 'No but maybe...' Now if you were to post a replay or vid when this occurs, maybe some of us can help out better. -
The little girl scream in the port is driving me insane.

Most frustrating moments for you.
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Having had a great BB or cruiser match with worthy opponents while dodging a noob 42% WR carrier torpedo and bomb attacks succesfully. Endgame left with 2-3k HP due to heavy surface to surface battle carrying the team. Noob carrier flies in your direction: full squadrons of rockets. WG -> ..|.. -
The announced changes are tested on the TST server first afaik. JFYI

Advice for current Tier IX gift shop ship
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to mpc007's topic in General Discussion
Jumping into tier IX after years not playing in a ship you bought based on advise from complete strangers only because a coupon has your hormones boiling seems a specifically bad idea to me. Play the game for free for a bit to find out what type of ships you like. If anything, buy dubloons, spend them later once you find out which ones are close to your playstyle. But then again, if you are already itching due to the coupon, those dubloons probably might not stay unused long either ^^ Dont just buy T9 ships willy nilly. It is ill advised. -
My first random for the weekend - and prolly my last. 😫
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to SolanumTuberosumRex's topic in General Discussion
Yes, avoid weekends if sanity is dear to you.
