Are you enjoying these days without Submarines?

Ofcoarse you do. Much like many would love to trade current AA for actual fun Anti Carrier Warfare tools.
  2. Yeah, the AAA industry is living it's all time peak lol. Thank you for this up to date depiction of how AAA companies, and some of their employees apparantly, value their playerbase. In utter contempt, but we already knew that, didn't we. ^^
  3. 'Collecting' digital assets artificially made scarce that are part of a rather unhealthy marketing ploy is quite gullible. And that's fine, it also explains the butt hurt reply to the brutally opinionated question as well. ^^ No rights of any kind were violated in any of the forementioned posts by the way.

    Auction results

He bought it for play to pay earned gold coins, so no loss there. You can resell tickets by the way. Sure, it's true for many things in todays irrational markets. We buy digital amusement in a carefully manipulated market of artificially created scarecity. It's rather anti consumer, all of it, and gobbeling it up making excuses for poor decisions is what riled up hormones do best. These forums are full of those ^^

To get what early? When? He paid the equivalent of 53 euros for a old powercreeped premium which had it's high days in the stealth firing era, overpaying about 20 euros on a tier V 30 euro pricetag that was already over the top for a digital item that carries an artificial fake 'rare' tag that he can't resell and will vanish the moment he decides to stop playing or whenever the game dies. And he could have bought Chernobylite Deluxe Edition for example, also very Russian, a complete game with excellent ratings. I fail to see anything good here. ^^ Congrats though :D

    General CV related discussions.

Most people here think in terms of gaming. In error, understandably so. WG's reality is marketing. ^^ Whenever people wonder why WG keeps doing things players don't seem to want, is like assuming pigs get a say at the slaughterhouse lol.

    Schlieffen Question

Check and compare your build to this one i made in fitting tool: https://wowsft.com/ship?index=PGSB210&modules=11111&upgrades=222124&commander=PCW001&skills=6840450&ar=100&flags=2&consumables=111&pos=0 The question you wanted to ask is probably: what did I do wrong?

I don't get the WG strategy behind superships

The strategy behind it is marketing.

Are you enjoying these days without Submarines?

Its like being force fed Lesta producers wet potato soup farts.

Are you enjoying these days without Submarines?

No its not actually. I play a bit when I miss the ship models every now and then. The gameplay is the thing I actually dont miss at all. Because its crap.

Are you enjoying these days without Submarines?

Yup, pretty much this. The 2 year sub release failure only reinforced the notion that Lesta cant design fun and engaging gameplay even if it wanted to. But they dont want to ^^

Why is the UI so laggy?

For WG this game is about portview, not battles. The game engine simply can't handle the massive amount of marketing presented there. ^^

Schlieffen made to push or not?

Schlieffen hitpool and armor are designed for facing a part of the potential damage facing 12 random enemies. In ranked it is facing, for arguments sake, 0.58 of that potential damage. Its strong points do not scale down as much. Much like carriers having the exact same reserves when facing 12 or 7 enemies. Its stupid. Kind of.

    Terrible State of the Playerbase

    Well. I'm terrible.

Jinan costs 235 EUR, will anyone buy it?

Yup for the most part. The goal is to have as many people exposed to their monetization hooks for as long as possibe, much like how most modern phone apps like TikTok, Facebook and Youtube for example work. The neuro science behind these techniques is far from innocent - they target neural, physical, chemical, social and mental aspects of people, us. That is why the grinds are as long as they can get away with, why we get showered in gazillion pointless little gifts, why events and reward schemes are overly convoluted and why we have so many at the same time (FOMO, fatigue and exhaustion are actual neural marketing goals). It is why we have so many tokens and new ones for every time they fart in our general direction, why old tokens devaluate, why RNG is such an important part of their toolbox in everything, why frustration is a valid design goal, and why carriers and subs lack depth and counter gameplay and are made as simplistic as possible. The list is much longer, but we can assume the majority of things WG comes up with is serving the F2P monetization model. As for ships and paying for those goes: I've been a happy supporter of this game in the early days: premium time, premium ships. The abject marketing design focus, it does seriously affect my game experience: the lootboxes, the convoluted events, their pushback and devaluation, the maximizing of grinds, the horrible state of the playerbase, Lesta's incapacity or unwillingness to fix year old gameplay issues, the powercreep that causes my old favorite ships to gather dust in port, the absolute bizarre gimmicks, the lack of map development, the boring simplistic gameplay developments of the last 3 years - the reeeecarriers, subs, Dutch airstrikes, ASW warefare, these stupid supership gimmicks etc. It's all very dissapointing.

Jinan costs 235 EUR, will anyone buy it?

Lol, way to miss a point, so i'll be short. These 'gameplay issues and poor decisions' you mentioned in the post I was responding to are actually fueled by the F2P model, buddy. Oh and this: Have you seen the state of the AAA game releases last few years? All those titles have the exact same shenanigans on top of their full pricetag. I haven't bought any AAA title in years. Haven't bought much from Wargaming either last 2 years. My money goes to independent developers that still have a drive and passion for gaming instead of a neuro marketing fetish.
