    If a player can't be burdoned to memorize 2 nations and the words 'cruiser radar' (USA cruiser radar, RU cruiser radar), simply ask in gamechat at round start: 'what enemy ships have radar'? There will be plenty of people helpful enough to point them out. Casual players are not exempt from teamplay just because they play very little. 'I can't be arsed' is what you really are saying is the reason behind it probably?

    It's simple. Modstation updates itself after a WOWS update. It remembers which mods you installed and you can update them with 1 button press. It couldnt be more smple almost.

    Or actually listen to DD's that ask for focus fire on certain targets instead of being an selfobsessed damage farmer. Next up, you can hit DD's failry reliably at 12 to 15 km with BB guns. it is even better to do with cruiser guns. What's even more, if EVERYONE fires at it, even if the majorty of the shells miss, the enemy DD is WARNED he is a priority target and will choose to operate at half effectivity usually. If you fail to target him, he will get cocky because he can (i know this because it is what triggers me to get very agressive), kill your friendly DD's, keep your radar ships spotted for his team for kill those off, and guess whos next on his meal. Or he will be so foreward as to ignore your teammates since hardly anyone fires at him anyway, get close and simply spam you with torps or HE until you cry. GG

    Start rant. I understand there are complete idiots sailing tier 10 DD's, but omg the level of play on that tier has become a complete shitshow in all classes. In 5 consecutive Marceau DD matches I've been in yesterday, me and my team caps 2 or 3 out of 3 caps, but the BB's and cruisers are so insanely passive that the enemy team simply kills them and runs over the objectives due to lack of defensive backpush. I've been facepalming so much last yesterday, it's insane levels of drewl. I've seen 3 battleships huddle up behind 1 island for a whole match to be joined later on by the remaining two that fled from the other flank and complete flanks turn around and run on a 4 vs. 4 situation. I held a flank alone while the rest of the team lemmingtrained to fight 4 ships against their 9 and took 12 minutes to kill them, just as much time as it took me to kill 3 on my own. I've seen moskvas sailing along 1 line and then A line for the whole match, kill nothing, radar nothing, contribute NOTHING to the team effort other then damage farming, and end up 1st place on the losing team. It's obcene. So a tip: Don't be that obnoxious BB asking DD's to contest caps when you have no clue about their detection ranges, can't even process simple data like the 2 radar cruisers, a carrier and a Friesland with 6 km hydro could be a problem etc etc and then sail away being usless because HURRR DD WONT CAP DUUUURRR. Capping these days is a more complicated endavour then just running into cap, smoking up and waiting to be torped to bits m'kay? Oh and all hyou russian radar plonkers, position yourself so you can use your radar efficiently mkay? I see you people hit radar when it's completely and ultimately obviously clear there is NOTHING in your 12 km radar range to reveil. THINK! POSITION YOURSELVES. Then hit radar. Oh and BB's and cruisers: if you are close to an lonely angry smoke screen and you dont have hyrdo or radar ready, don't be an idiot if you cant seem to hit anything blind firing into it, stop firing so you get undetected and take it from there. Don't keep firing at the angry smoke, it will only help the one inside aquire your dumb arse as a target while you still can't see anything and get burned to death or torped. Oh and dont be that complete wacko in a russian CA that was within 10 km range from a lonely Smolensk in smoke, then turn and sail away just long enough to hit your radar WHEN YOU FINALLY PUT 12,1 KM BETWEEN YOU AND THE SMOL. <-- true story End rant.
  7. Thanks! I find the rewards perfectly fine to be honest, who needs steel anyways. I still find it a bit weird that they made premium and silver ships rewards the same, now I don't feel spehshul anymore Nice improvement, the added base XP for completion

  9. I bought the Asasshio Black some time ago as it was cheaper compared to the regular premium and had loads of fun in it. As I don't buy lootcrates usually (well, actually I'm not buying anything atmo) my odds of getting a duplicate are pretty low ^^ One thing of notice, in case of event tasks designed for a specific premium, the black ships are sometimes excluded. I had a task which was for the Asassio, but my Asassio black didn't register progress in it.

  12. Right, let me explain in more detail then. Don't buy black lootcrates if you don't like the odds of receiving duplicates. Better? Calling it 'unexpected' to receive duplicates later on after buying these things seems to point towards you missing something here ^^

    From what I found is that the smoke module and engine boost dictate the attack intervals, not the reload time of the torps. The difference in smoke and torps reload times gets longer if you speed torp reload up, more out of sync. Since they are 6 km only, the faster reload time doesn't add more opportunity i think, but I'm curious about your findings in her. Don't underestimate the guns of this puppy! The SAP is pretty sweet. The boost upgrade is a neat idea, sadly the exhaust smoke module can't be boosted by the smoke upgrade.     He could get the Smalland and Hayate for that much FXPinero. I'd be yealous! I currently would have to pick either, but I'm saving my FXP for now until i'm bored with Paolo. :D Paolo = RB but research points (can be FXP'd kinda) Marceau = coal (nope)

    I'm still puzzeled who's demands you are referring to. Your initial post was an answer to BLUB's post, in which no reference was made to anyone demanding no fly zones and airplane obliterating AA. A non argument, as making any class of ships unable to do damage is by default DOA. Just out of curiosity: Would you consider current population distribution, where lower tiers are very regularly confronted with 4 carriers per match and higher tiers with occasionally 2 carriers per match, a healthy population?

    He's showing how goddamn aweful lower tiers have it, so he higher tiers carriers dont seem broken in comparison. It's called confirmation bias.
  21. I own the Ohio, Siegfried and Paolo Emilio, and out of the 3 the Paolo already netted more play then the first two. I also don't play BB much, and even though Ohio and Siegfried are great ships, Paolo is the one I fell in love with. The Paolo has a couple of great treats: AP HE gunnery, great combination for fighting every target in every situation, especially DD's and light armored cruisers (and carriers) engine boost en smoke combo allows for hilarious yolo attacks which are survivable and which get stronger as the match progresses and the blobs are thinner massive torpedo damage, like shima levels of damage engine smoke module, great for yolo torp attacks, unspotted top speed gunnery driveby and near to perfect escapes without becoming a sitting duck in smoke - all you can ever want from a smoke screen as an agressive player pretty fast combines well with the ITA special captain, I usually unlock two talents per match; get 1 kill and your smoke and engine boost modules are increased in duration, get 100 main battery shell hits and expand your gunnery range. T9, so more fun to be had compared to a T10 ship due to MM You get to make italian food jokes Downsides so far Has to be a bit careful initially in order to save HP pool for yolo attacks later in the match Pretty sensitive to radar and hydro ships Should be sensitive to carrier spots and attacks but so far they didn't bother me much Optimized detection range 7 km combined with torpedo range of 6 km can be a hassle to handle
