Black ships and containers in premium shop
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to 22cm's topic in General Discussion
Im just puzzled by people having a regular version and then buying the B version of the ship at these prices. They can do whatever they want, absolutely sir and all the best to them, my small brain simply breaks over stuff like this ^^ -

Black friday let's you buy 40k coal for doubloons
Mad_Dog_Dante replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
Black ships are usually not eligable for missions made for their regular counterparts afaik. They play the same. You can use other camos on them, but that wont make them loose the B in their name :-) -
Forgive me, but I'm getting a bit tired of the 'would you rather' and then forcing some silly statement to make a point. Nothing personal, just tiresome argumentation. I would rather not have these stupid carrier designs in this game. I would much much much rather have great playing carriers (so i can play them without being bored after 2 rounds), that don't allow complete nitwits to ruin the gameplay for 22 other players for 20 minutes even when they are insanely bad, just by sheer accident. I would rather have carriers to be sent to port when making vital mistakes just like every other class we have. Etc. Carriers should be like snipers in other FPS games. Hard to get into. Hard to master. Now we have a scout-heavy-sniper class without the drawbacks of any of them. How stupid is that in a class based game?
-
Because they vent their frustration with the wrong words.
-
That's the understatement of the year. Even MORE forgiving? They already have 30 sets of training wheels on. EVERYTHING makes carriers more forgiving to play. No other class has it so comfortable for 20 minutes straight. Selfscouting, AP bombing, in your face torping, baby rocketing, flak being nothing but a newbie filter, insane reserves in ranked (7 vs 7 with 12 vs 12 balanced reserves? Nice bruh), silly fire resistance, silly flooding resistance, silly lack of citadel, silly lack of detonation, sitting in silly far away mapcorners or humping islands alone (while 'enforcing teamplay' on everyone but themselves), silly lack of carrier vs. carrier fighting, ignoring enemy hard cover, being as fast as cruisers, having inpenetrable deck armor, having an auto warning system on their planes being spotted so (hey, DD much?), schrugging off low calibre shells..... Really. How much forgoving gameplay do carriers need?
-
0/1 talk plz. ^^ I just want cool carriers in my favorite ship game. That's all. If I was forced to choose with a gun to my head, I'd prefer the RTS ones over the boring crap we have now. But I only say that because people keep bringing that nonsense up. For me it is not even being killed by carriers because that rarely happens to me. The carriers are just so - frikkin - abhorrent for the rest of the gameplay. A design folly. I saw a QA video where a dev said they were fine with losing gameplay where you can't be low HP anymore. That's the stupidest crap ever a gamedeveloper can say to me. Being at the brink of dying but still managing to fight on and defying being sunk is frikkin AWESOME. It's grand. It's where skill really starts to shine. Seeing low HP ships in the middle of a 'protrective' blob being rocketed to death by some random low skill blergh in a horribly unfun to play carrier 'because one squaaaad neeeds to get thruuuuuuu' BS is seriously the worst gameplay design for PVP i have seen in 25 years of gaming.

I have accumilated 2M+ FXP grinding the UK CA line for the RB, and I decided to go for an overpriced destroyer. Can't beleive I'm doing this but there is very little else I want to use the FXP for. I was looking at the Smalland, and then noticed the Hayate. Why would someone ever buy that thing for that much FXP? The Smalland is already a stretch, but it kinda looks fun and has it's own thing. But the Hayate? Can someone tell me why I would go for that? TBR replacing smoke? Really? Anyone even has it? I never see it. Also, I finished the RB grind just now WG wai u be trolling meh
-
Nice made up percentages you got there bruh ^^ I would love me some awesome carriers in this game. Sadly WG is just really bad at aviation gameplay. Like, really, really bad. But that's just my opinion

Once we get over 2 major topics with over 700 pages of DD or BB complaints, why not :D Why don't you start the DD complaint thread, and I'll make a BB complaint thread ^^
-
Yes, it takes vast amount of flags. I don't play any competetive or ranked, so for me it's all about being a vet with loads of ships in port. Regrinding a line is about as optimized as one can get when you have flags to spare, as you collect FXP, CXP and RP at the same time. I don't think Hayate and Smalland are 'worth it', but hardly anything is these days. I'm having lots of fun in the Hayate, and I feel it will still be my preffered ship out of the the two when or if I get to the Smalland. I love speed tankers, but I like the Frenchies way better - > my Marceau. I have never enjoyed radar on DD's much. I prefer long range hydro instead. Edit: I just ran out of flags, so I guess I'll have to wait for theis year's snow flake event.
-
If you read this thread, you can see I was going for the swede, but I haven't seen much of them perform well at the second half of any battle. I bought Hayate becasue of a specific weeb captain I have been training. This ship is for her. I love the Hayate so far. But I'd go for the Smalland knowing now that it will be pulled.

I've stopped paying WG since jan this year, with the exception of buying my Belfast back for 16 euros. Not anymore, WG screwed mah pooch too often.
-
Stack flags and camo and just dont be a nobhead in randoms. I'm regrinding the UK CL line currently so I'm grinding FXP, captian XP and RBP. It is one of my favorite shiplines. The shot below of my best Fiji match last week is exceptional, but you'll get the point.
-
Not sure, im at 520k atmo. I bought the Hayate 1 week before they announced pulling the Smalland. I'm not too fussed about it, the Smalland looks nice but not like something I can't live without. I only play randoms. The Hayate does punch hard. I like it.
-
I actually bought the Hayate and not the Smalland. Did I mention that already? Going for the Smalland next though! My last match of today

It's the previous season and the recent season reset these people are seeing, no glitch as far as I can tell. -

Uhhh? -
I played all kinds of KM ships for the camo grind. Its awesome. Its hilarious to ram ships while tooting the massive church organ.
-
That's a fact. I got it through the mission. I enjoyed playing my KM ships again, had been a while
-
That Bissie camo is freaky awesome and it comes with a horn that sound like someone is banging his head on the organ keyboard lulz

Don't play with your brain on autopilot.

PVP gameplay summarized ^^

Yeah I fxp to tier 5 too. So I guess I don't grind every ship. No need to suffer the lack of will by WG to fix their low tier gameplay. The UK DD and CL lines are fun. Once you get better at DD's I can recommend the Paolo. She does require a special flow: lay low at the start of battles, pick you moments in mid and late parts.
