I don't see a lot of submarines in the matches bro. Even me, as a submarine fanboi, don't play these Lesta/WG ones much, because the gameplay sucks arse. They are made for mobile lootbox gamers not naval fans.

My guess is the aweful is not a 'tier' problem ^^ I enjoy tier 5 ranked and randoms a lot, and I only play cruisers mostly in it. Go figure.

I've never played a 'supership'. Not sure if I see any reason to? I've never been fond of the tier X META either. So yeah, T5 to 7 is where I'm playing currently. Nice tiers atmo.

I would still buy premium ships and premium time as I always did (the usual stuff I bought in both WOT and WOWS - i hate gambling). I never 'needed' anything in this free 2 play game, always bought stuff for the fun of it, basically expressing my goodwill through my wallet. If I enjoy a game, and find the developer straight forward I'll gladly help pay for it even if it's free 2 play. They don't even need to be overly passionate or anything, just not a bunch of arseholes. WG became way too cynical for my taste.

While this is true, WG and Lesta basically pissed on all the goodwill I had for them, to the last drop. It's because of that I stopped throwing monies at them. Nothing can rectify that, that ship has sailed. The game can still be entertaining every now and then. So i play a bit around mass free givaways.

For me subs are a poor mans torpedo destroyer with special perks. I often have most if not all diving capacity remaining at the end of rounds. I dont need to dive much for longer times if played well and being on the surface a lot makes it recharge constantly. I spot, cap and area deny. Unless I'm going for 'shotgunning in enemy spawn' I usually play 'surface sub with dive smoke'. That being said, I like destroyers about 3.983.479x better. So I don't play subs much anymore after testing them. Like carriers. Boring.

For me the most fun LINES to grind were UK lights, but I think you mentioned not particularly being fond of those. The RM cruiser line was very much fun for me, I regrinded it for RB. The IJN cruisers LINE are also still a favorite of mine. Both are very flexible.
