Right. Because your confidence has shown a reliable source of information so far. The issues referred to are not about OP damage performance of a single boat. You really should stop fighting your fictional 'mouthfoamers' and whatever other generic insults you keep posting, because most arguments are not about single ships being OP overall, but about features being decremental to the gameplay of the game itself. The dutch cruiser airstrikes are 'fixing' a problem that is actually a key feature: multitool cruisers supporting caps by digging in. These airstrikes will not punish backline campers, it's range is too small. It will punish cruisers players that are willing to support DD's going for caps by digging in locations where they can't be citadelled or torped easily and battleships that take a stand by tanking their flank against a stronger enemy. Destroying those opportunities will, yet again, push the meta into more long range camping, much like Deadeye made the middle of the maps wastelands, and DD's were left alone to fight amongst themselves and carriers. And by the way: The Ise currently sits no.1 WR BB in its tier with a staggering 6.29 avg. planes destroyed and 4th in avg. damage on EU wows numbers. Not that it proves anything, but it does show you are fighting windmills.

I get it, this bote has lovers and haters. The guns are equal if not more important to the torpedoes. You don't need infinite IQ in a gunfight vs. a good DD player, but wit. And lets not ignore the fact that there are plenty of bad to mediocre DD captains out there, so dismissing the Asashio by setting it up against a perfect enemy is unrealistic. The thing is, in an Asashio you fight DD's and cruisers on your terms almost exclusively because of it's conceilment. When I get killled in an Asashio, it is because I royally fucked up or I have a carrier as opponent that recognizes my qualities in that boat and hunts me down relentlessly. But even then I still have good value while under my teams umbrella because of the LOL torpedoes, especially with 5 to 6 valid targets in every match especially these days. Can you push in and take on a good gunbote or hybrid DD player in a fair gunfight? Ofcoarse not, that is not smart is it? You don't need infinite IQ to understand that, just common sense. You don't want to play fair in DD's, even more so in an Asashio. It's the ultimate arsebote. I call mine the AssAssio. Even a good DD gunboat captain can't keep pushing your flank when constantly outspotted, because he will be shot at by your team eventually. So you keep him lit while kiting, fire some nice HE alpha every now when it's opportune destroying modules and setting fires, wearing him down, kill him or make him give up. And when you've established your opponent is not a fenominal captain when tested, it's very much likely that you will outgun him in an active kite fight, even when downtiered and against lighter cruisers. Are there scenario's where it's powerless almost except for it's torpedoes? Absolutely. You can keep ignoring my stats and comments for randoms to your hearts satisfaction, but I'm telling you, 67% WR in over 400+ solo battles isn't because it's a situational boat at best.

I only played a couple of matches and what I've seen is that having a CV in your team is a liability because it's dot is simply too slow to be useful. It still is and will continue to be a full tard class design for pvp simply because it kills the fun in pvp matches. But wows isn't about fun is it. It's about rewards right? ^^

It's more than that for randoms, just to be clear. I agree on comp. but your hate for it has no merit in randoms sir. If an Asashio is performing bad in randoms it is a player issue, because it is easy to learn to do damage, but hard to master it's carry potential so to speak.

It's a great fast reloading torp bote 65 sec reload 12 km fast torps (72 knts? I forgot), it's kind of relaxed actually. And fun :-) Someone called it a poor mans benham, which made me insta buy it lol. By the time you hit something with your torps, they almost ready for a new launch :D Here you go, I have some vids on it. My 1st and 3d match in it. -

It's the most fun inducing giggle shizzle bote for randoms ever. I would not take it into anthing that tries to be competetive (lol WG and comp ha ha ha), but filtered by WR rank 8 - 10 > 100 battles show me that the Asashio is actually awesome mountain of gorge with well over 400 battles played, so that's a fine sample size. In Solo it's second after the Kitakaze which has 1/4th of the battle played in Solo. And I'm not even in the top 25% Asashio players damage wise, probably because I'm fighting DD's and cruisers all the time ^^

Greatest gaming achievement of today: Hitting quit after playing two ranked games ending up first by a mile on teams that have abysmal players in it. This game and it's playerbase is in a pathetic state. Seriously. -
Yes as it has the best concealment in game, good alpha HE, low profile and 4 guns pointing backward so a great kiter. Oh and it has hilarious torpedoes which hit stuff beyond your initial target (you lanch at 6 -12 km preferably and get bonus hits at 18 to 20 at targets you don't even see ^^ Added bonus: if you know what it can and can't do, many enemy players will get blind with rage when you are 'spotted', which you usually only do on your own terms to bait players into chasing a good alpha striking low profile kiter into your friendly range of fire. Or you just kite and HE them yourself, absolutely possible. If you lack any perspective on what it can do or you don't like to do any of the above, you shouldn't.

That you're jelly? But seriously. Players having purple stats and being good at the game actually adds weight to their opinions in the same way your screenshots lighten the weight of yours. People who are knowledgable in this game have a better understanding on how carriers are influencing the overall gameplay negatively, while at the same time being able to perform adequately because they understand what is going on.

Stealth has enough variables to work in interesting ways among the surface ship classes already. Carriers add to the lack of stealth consistantly for most of the ships. A single CV ruins stealth for 12 different opponents in a continuous stream of inadverted alternating detection simply because it's flying to places. Most of carier spotting has no thought behind it; it's a mere consequence of zipping around to targets at 120-200 knts unhindered by hard cover or manouvre limitations. As for boring... We only have to look at matches without carriers. Those are usually more entertaining compared to matches with carriers because they allow for a wider array of tactical possibilities for everyone in that match. Carrier matches make things stale and static, while adding very little of interest in the surface to carrier gameplay in return since it's automated almost completely.

You keep stating the complaints are about carriers being OP, when they are not. Why don't you start by trying to understand what some of the complaints are about instead of raging on with a blood cluttered brain against a fictitious forum opponent, because it obviously doesn't help you think straight. His 'point' before didnt turn out to be a great one, which is the actual point. A bad FDR carrier player can't stop a Marceau going for it, and the Marceau losing the match because of it. Is that actually a point, or a rage-brag gone sour?

Im sorry you dont get it, i truely am. You lost that match hunting a carrier, a mistake made by inexperienced players, which you are not. It only proves even more prominent that hunting carriers in dds prematurely will most likely lose matches, even if there is only 1 total. And even if you succeed in killing the carrier. And FDR is bad at hunting DDs. We already knew all of that.

No. You have been extremely vocal and beliterant to people who do not share your views on things that WG designed to fly, but your attempts to give your opinions solid ground are disingenuous. So a DD killed a CV and lost the match. Thats not new, that is why we teach people not to go on a carrier hunt prematurely. And that in itself is an issue with the carrier class, as carriers are not even adversaries amongst eachother like DDs are for example.
