New Year Gifts and Rewards: Your One-Stop Guide

The above is so true... Also I can't believe an employee of a normal company respecting their customers would express himself in such a condescending and disrespective manner. But seeing the New Year directives one day after they have claimed it is completely doable and viable to complete Puerto Rico without paying any money I am not that surprised anymore...

New Year Gifts and Rewards: Your One-Stop Guide

The way I see it if it comes to New Years events there are several things to it: Snowflakes - they are nice, we all like them, they are cool. If we have time, we take a tour playing through all our ships, if not, we get some free stuff while casually playing our favourite ships. Only winners here. Daily Drops - they are nice, incentify daily logins perhaps bringing some people to the game that would otherwise not play (on the basis of "since I logged in I might as well play some battles"). Only winners here. Building a ship - very cool idea, giving players a fulfilling goal to complete! Also exciting to see the ship come together. Directives and other methods of acquiring shipbuilding tokens - absolute crap, evident money grab and a filthy lie (suggestion that it is doable for average player to complete the Puerto Rico without paying). Average players have around 1 destroyed ship per game, even the first directive asks for 65 destroyed ships. That is 16 battles per day to complete this mission in order to unlock the next directive, considering average battle time of 12 minutes and loading times this equals to 3,5 hours of grind per day assuming you get your 1 ship per battle. Second Directive bumps it up to 90 kills, which equals almost 5 hours of playing per day for average player. Seriously, WG, what the [edited]is wrong with you? I get that you need people to pay to keep your lights up, but in that case just make an honest statement: to get Puerto Rico you will have to pay some money or spend some in-game resources. Make decent directives that all people enjoy and slap a dubloon cost (actually, the cost that has been announced is ridiculous too considering you pay almost 30k dubloons and must still invest loads of time) on Puerto Rico, so that everyone knows that you are not getting it for free. Then people will not be able to complain: they get a lot of free stuff, they can participate in building the ship, but to launch it they need to pay some money (or dubloons there otherwise acquired). Noone would be mad about that, as there would be clear distinction between free, festive stuff for everyone and a ship that comes at a discount due to Christmas for those who want it. Pretending you can get it for free and then hiding it behind directives requiring you to play for 5 hours a day or more is just outrageous

    Rental ships upgrade demounting.

What happens to upgrades I have bought and installed on Tier X rented ships, which I got temporarily for use in Clan Battles? I know xp is trasferred to respective Tier I ship, but I didn't see information about the upgrades. Are they sold automatically after rental period is over, are they demounted and put in inventory, do they just disappear, or something entirely else? Thanks in advance for the answer.
