    These sound changes are absolutely terrible, but worst of all is the incredibly bad boost sound you added to planes that plays literally every time you tap the boost button. Playing a carrier now is just a non-stop assault on my ears. BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE BWEEEE How does that even get through testing?? Great job there, folks.

    Detectability Penalty Change in 0.8.0

    Bloom time resetting on breaking LOS is probably my favorite change made to this game so far. Hearing that it's considered a bug and is going to be "fixed" is baffling to me because the game so obviously plays better this way? Please don't change it back. Going back to spending 20+ seconds sitting behind a rock to be safe is the last thing this game needs.

    doubloon theft - autospending

    "It's obvious to me!" is a pretty poor defense of bad UI design. The fact that people making guides for ships have to keep pointing out that you can buy premium consumables for credits is a pretty solid indication that it's actually not obvious, and there is inevitably somebody commenting on the video saying that they didn't know that it was possible. The camo/flag options are also confusing and should be a "auto resupply using [ ] Credits / [ ] Doubloons" option. As it is the use of "in-game currency" on the checkbox is ambiguous; does that mean doubloons, silver, both? Does it still resupply for credits without the box checked? This is not clear, and essentially risking spending real money to find out is just bad. The fact that the game still defaults to doubloons for consumables even though most people would want to pay in credits is really scummy stuff.

  5. Kinda wish they just removed overmatching entirely. Makes angling in cruisers possible, and removes the arbitrary nature of what battleships are best based on a number that doesn't even show up ingame. And then when battleships no longer get free one-shot kills by just sniping from the backline, other ships without smoke might actually be viable.
  6. Guess I'll have to start torpedoing friendly battleships who try to go near my smoke then, if this goes live. I figure that counts as "griefing" just as much as intentionally destroying friendly smoke screens will.
