    Patch Alert: Game Update 0.5.1.2

Good. Ishi is easy prey. And it will normalise as the hype (myself i can't even imagine hype for the Ishizuchi, nah) goes off. If anything, the number of premiums, even the greatest, is not a problem. And even if, the cause is hype induced binge buying which consolidates the flood into short time. Solution - selling all the premiums in three ways: ingame, premium shop ship only and bundles. All three without time - restricted offers. If nothing changes, 2500. not really good price considering the "meh" quality of the ship and compared to WoT and WoWp premium prices, but as the first new release for doubloons it is meaningful step. If you asked me, i would say 1250 would be accurate and comparable to WoT. I only hope it's beginning, not exception (not the price ofc, but the introduction of new premiums to ingame shop). EDIT: Down - i do not oppose the idea of super rare ships, like the Tirptz, Warspite or even the seasonal Fujin. Just it seems like EVERY premium is one of those, while it should be 1 on 10 tops. That is crap.

We want lower repair costs too!

Absolutely not. Those tiers should be normal tiers with normal ships played by normal players. Only obtainable harder. What you descript is just cutting off 20% of the game for no reason. Proof or it didn't happen. Oh wait, it didn't happen. Nowhere. And the huge playerbase woudn't be so huge if the players stopped at 7-8 tier because huge paywall. I also played WoT since the closed beta and at the point of development and time similar to WoWs the playerbase was comparable, but we already had populated top tiers.

    Patch Alert: Game Update 0.5.1.2

Well, not the Ishizuchi as the ship itself is not interesting in any possible way. Now the rest of them. Or at least some plan with release date for the premiums.
  4. Yea, right. "Buy this special Warspite pack with metric crapton of everything you could always buy but never wanted, only 60 euro and buy it fast because god only knows when we feel to sell it again" <- thats more likely. Or even, the dreaded ADVENT CALENDAR with 100+ euro offers

I don't interpret working hard as necessary in any game. I have that already - at work. Challenge is other thing. But, there is no fun nor challenge in this, just drone's work. Tedious grinding is not welcome. Double grinding to buy unlocked ships is even more unwelcome. Triple grinding just to play what you've grinded twice already is simply absurd.
  6. Wow, that's the saddest troll i've seen here.

Upper-tier economy is in dire need of revision

Thing is, those "oh, the lack of teamplay is horrible" notions are caused by... what exactly? The fact that no one likes to lose. But everyone have the impression of how to win. Mostly different one though. You think further penalizing for lose will make things better? No, it's the opposite. We may have the more aggressive fight, but the way WR is in this game, it would simply scare the people away "oh i'm forced to pay because those noobs failed again" and so on. As i said many times, this game punishes way too much already. It punishes for less than very good play, while it should reward the very good play. You may easily look how the average looks in this game. It's good starting point for making the game geared towards those average players.

Those flags are yet another symptom. TerraThree is at best cosmetic, 5% is around 13000 from Yamato. It should be -50% IN ADDITION to overall lessening the repair cost, not instead of it. Zulu should be given in batches of 10, like every other, its bonus is passable, but then again, it absolutely shouldnt be viewed as reliable method of improving economy, just occasional bonus for good play, as every other flag.

Upper-tier economy is in dire need of revision

WG is ignoring all economy threads since closed beta. Funny enough, there were talk of retaining close beta balance of rewards/maintenance only with upper costs of ships and modules in xp and credits. Instead, we got huge increase in repair costs at tiers 8+ (all tiers actually, but it has became noticeable on tier 6+, while on 8+ it start to be really oppressive) and, as if that wasn't enough, flat fee for enterering battle. In addidtion to the, also way higher than expected, increase of ships and modules cost. Now, several monts later we should be entering phase when higher tiers are becoming slowly saturated to the point MM have no big problems with making averagely fair fights. Instead, higher tiers are desolate. And what do WG did in latest patch? "Balanced" damage and cap gains, effectively worsening the economy even more.
  11. Well, goodbye. This game have enough of the real issues and we don't need CS-level paranoia added to the pot. Sure that indicate someone's standard of posting... And your accusations of MrFingers is totally missed. He do not need to play even ONE battle to see the bundles and unequal treating of players based on region. Not even one, he is not talking about ingame mechanics at all. I'm not even mentioning you accusing others of personal attacks. Pure hutzpah.

Please un-nerf the economy for capital ships

In reality, this was not rebalance - it was carpet nerf to ALL classes, including destroyers. Not every DD cap, not in every battle, not every battle is domination.
  13. Normally i would think it's a nonsense, considering how much effort, time and money this game development took, but... i hope their plan isn't to just milk us dry then cut their losses and left this game in the vegetable state like WoWp. But someone here always noticed. Well, i hoped for missions to be the turning point of that dumb crap as i had hoped those missions would be implemented as patches by devs. Alas, no. It seems the merry-go-round of madness continues, the missions are absolutely underwhelming and region-depandant. Heck, even the daily missions have better prizes, being almighty silver instead of things i don't ever use. Their only reedeming quality that those are potentially for everyone, not just guys with most skill and luck like the contests.
  14. Wow. There are some serious issues in this thread. I'm not saying this game is dying, because it isn't, at least not yet, but some of the people grossly overreact at the mere mention of the possibility. But i think that is understandable, no one here WANTS that game to die. That saying, if the game "stabilize", or more accurately, stagnate at this point (not even mentioning declining) that will be bad. Just look at higher tiers. You want this to go on forever?
  15. They can't hear you because the sound of money from sold bundles is too loud. Also, NA is same as here, for example that threadnought with biggest poll in WoWs history is ignored because players touched critical taboo there.
  16. Another bit of dev promises from NA: http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/57875-wg-and-its-lies/page__st__40__pid__1416089#entry1416089 And, yet another one: http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/57985-when-will-get-get-a-weekend-event-thats-more-than-2x-xp-on-first-win/page__pid__1418328#entry1418328

Steel Ocean will not be a threat to WoWS

I know that graphics are not everything but this looks (on ultra settings), like somebody took Navy Field 2 models and put them right under my eyes. Ugh.
  18. Vanhal

So you wanted the same specials as NA?

That don't even looks legit. Wtf? Unless WG just sank to a new low.
  19. It would help to ease the pain. But it wouldn't fix the economy. Not in the long run. The problem are not because the costs are so high, but because the rewards vs maintenance balance is screwed. So it would only allow for more high tier ships to be bought and then ditched anyway because they are generating steady losses. That said, the fact that this simple and essential feature is still not here shows that WG had no intention of easing the play for the players. Buy more premium. Git gud. Buy more Atago.
  20. Well, we were so starved for any ingame event that even breadcrumbs would seem a feast. But there are only breadcrumbs afterall.

    Blyskawica in the Premium Shop

The first question is interesting. Considering how many guys here were rationalizing their decisions to buy even the worst 300% bundles ("we need the doubloons", "the contents are worth it" etc.) it should be some number at least. However, when really given the choice instead of "take it or gtfo" they will probably behave totally different, so you are probably right. Will it bring more cash to the WG? Idk. Second is obvious. It must have sold way beneath the estimates for WG to try something new. Anyway, still not buying anything as long as my doubloons are held hostage.

    Blyskawica in the Premium Shop

It will be interesting how this will influence the sales. How many big vs small bundles bought. How many Błyskawica vs Fujin or Nicholai. We won't see those results, but WG will. So this time i'm totally not against people buying it. Who knows, maybe those blockheads at WG marketing would finally notice something. As you said, at least this time there is a choice. Not very good, but at least it's something. That said, not in the ingame shop? I'm not buying.
  23. Not really. In reality it is big buff to DD, slight nerf for cruisers, big nerf for BB and huge for CV. Or rather for those classes gains, not for their battle capability. In reality the rebalance wasnt necessary at all, DD have lower XP gains so this being straight buff would be in place and sufficient. Instead it is yet another nail in the coffin of higher tiers. Even if it was done to promote capping the effect would be minuscule for all but DD. And as i said, instead of rewarding aggresive movement and fulfilling the objectives, we have even more punishment for not doing this. Punish, punish and more punish. WG view on metagame is very sad.
