I see you kinda missed my obvious allusion to worst bollocks ever - the Gneisenau excuse and that WG can make identical case of most hyped classes, and growing hype for Richelieu is noticeable and second perhaps only to Hood (and you also probably noticed that by now everyone expect Hood to be premium, nobody even mentions Admiral class despite it was favourably discussed since the beginning). Also, i don't see any reason Gascogne to be tier 9, it just isn't fit for that, having mostly identical stats as Richelieu. Only real option for tier 9 is Alsace. Gascogne would be fine for a premium though, having distinct difference of gun placement, with Richelieu being in the normal tree. Then again everyone was sure we would get Scharnhorst in the tree with 283/380 choice and Gneisenau with 380 as premium.- 59 replies

Next overhyped BB - Richelieu. That of course mean it will be premium and in regular tree we will get Gascogne, because all-front guns are too big change for regular player.- 59 replies

Lot of that is probably because they are BB. Lots of players came to this game specifically to play them. Again, like in DD case, if they think it's too much, MM is the way to fix that, not nerfs.

Yes, you play this ship a lot. You don't just jump to tier X straight from WoT. Ofc that would still make you total noob to tier X, but it would still cost you a lot of time and make you at least familiar to the game itself. And not that tier X aren't full of players that don't exactly know what they are doing despite grinding there normally... -

On short range it will be absolutely deadly. Think like Smith with 8 tubes. Or making stream of torps instead of spread. Or specifically aiming for detonation point under the turrets on BB's. On long range (idk how long those torps range would be, but i think it will be around 8km), it would also allow to sent a stream of torps instead of spread - much lower chance of avoiding them in most situations, especially in narrow straits or other places with limited movement. Would need some more skill though to successfully use that i think. Btw. Steel Ocean have that mechanic already. -

Robi kolosalną wręcz różnicę. Przy tym jak wyglądają bitwy na 8+ tierze to bardzo często różnica pomiędzy życiem a śmiercią. I nie chodzi o robienie damage, choć zawsze coś tam wpadnie ale o sytuacje kiedy: 1. Kampa jest tak straszna, że jak musisz troszkę bliżej podejść pancernikiem to dostajesz focusa. 2. Jak team ucieknie to również się przydaje. 3. Jak nie daj Boże przyjdzie coś ścigać to głupio tak trochę nie móc ostrzeliwać gonionego a samemu dostawać. 4. Wiele krążowników na tych i wyższych tierach ma nagle zasięg podobny albo większy od Amagiego, a nawet z rozwiniętą prędkością nie da się takiego zmusić do walki jeśli nie chce. Ogólnie mi się Amagim grało najgorzej ze wszystkich pancerników 8 tieru (nawet pomimo nie najgorszych wyników), bo mi przeszkadzały, w tej kolejności: 1. Mały zasięg właśnie - zawsze wolę mieć więcej niż mniej, nawet jeśli w większości go nie wykorzystuję, bo sam fakt drastycznie zwiększa możliwości taktyczne i umożliwia zmuszanie przeciwnika do działania a nawet w najgorszej sytuacji coś da się zrobić. Najgorszą chwilą w tej grze, prawdziwą torturą jest nie móc nic zrobić ani nie móc odpowiedzieć na atak przeciwnika. 2. Ustawienie wież. niby da się kręcić, ale w sytuacji walki z więcej niż jednym okrętem przeciwnika już czuć znaczącą różnicę - i Tirpitz i NC są tu dużo lepsze. A jak nie snajpisz tylko robisz to co do pancernika należy to walki przeciw więcej niż jednemu są regułą. 3. Pancerz - nie ma takiego znaczenia, ale w sytuacji gdy musisz unikać torped, wysp albo sojuszników nie ogarniających WASD można bardzo łatwo załapać cytkę albo kilka.

Yesterday i burned more than half of Montana in Kutuzow. I was sitting in smoke, 12km from him, all the time i looked straight in the mouth of his guns aimed at the smoke. One of the most surreal experience i ever had in WoWs. WG please don't give smoke to cruisers, give them more armor, don't gimp their agility like VMF forced straight lines tubs, just not the smoke. -

What's the point of this thread? You would like more whining on the forum? I play BB and CA's almost exactly 1 to 1 and i never noticed anything bad with cruisers, they are fine. Sure, few of them would need some tweaking, but as class they are good.

That port package and dragon port don't work for me.

Not premium, regular. As in that other game, you collect resource daily (let's call it "concrete") and build the port facilities. Oh, and that perma camos don't do nothing exceptional, at this price they are pure robbery. Should cost like 100-300 dubs max like they are now. For 3000 i would rather expect ship to be fully turned into premium. That would be nice too.

I approve. Armored Warfare have similar mechanics, when you buy permanent bonuses by daily gathering materials and constructing buildings. It's a way to reward veteran players somewhat, and that is sorely missing in WoWs.

RNG tu szaleje, to fakt, raz 150k, raz 30k, bitwa taka sama. Optymalny zasięg - 10-12k, jak na 4 tierze. Wtedy nie włącza się jeszcze cytadela 404 na krążownikach a rozrzut da się znieść. O graniu tym okrętem świadczy, że rozważam, czy sobie aby nie zostawić jak już skończę, co przy obecnej ekonomii jest najwyższą laurką. Tylko jak się trafi bitwa po 5 DD albo team kampi to nie ma zmiłuj. Ale to chyba na większości okrętów jest wtedy źle.

I met him today. Even for a novice his level of play was atrocious, like dropping torps on island, hugging border or missing lonely BB in several attempts.

Well, the ribbons are not quite accurate, i got lots of weird things, like showing normal pens as overpens (like OP), dings as normal pens and so on.

Arkasas is really easy to play: 1. Point your guns at the general direction of the enemy. Load AP. 2. Damn those turret turn slow, choose your primary broadside for the battle. 3. Shoot. Your accuracy don't matter much, RNG provides (or not). 4. Yay, tons of damage/WTF dammit RNG ur drunk 5. Dont solo with Kongo. Or anything that have more range and speed. 5a. You can still wreck anything as long as they are in your range. 6. Die peacefully when attacked by torpedo bombas. Nothing hard here, most of your tactical choices are already made for you by this ship unflexible characteristics. You must just choose right block to the right hole.

WoT tech trees were diverse too, untill they started selling gold ammo for credits and suddenly half of the players started to use it, this really sent their carefully maintained armor/gun/mobility balance straight to hell.
