It is necessary, not neat. Not publishing the calendar by now is shocking incompetence (except WG EU apparently, for them it is normal). Doing this in two months in a row in any decent business would meant head would roll.

Molotov don't have tier 9 guns, only shells. The range really, really hurt, and with the bad T6 MM it is no longer good ship to play, unless enemies are beets and are ignoring it (info: they aren't, usually it's opposite).

König Albert not to be for sale on the EU, only as a reward/prize-ship. It was meant to be like that from day 1?
Vanhal replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
It's more the case of Kawachi and South Carolina being terribly UP rather than KA being OP. Although not surprising, WG don't give a crap considering they absolutely messed the MIkasa and despite numerous feedback aren't even considering doing something with it, beside selling it to us, of course. -
Can't break the tradidtion... Also, you complain about poilitical correctness, but you don't want your feelings hurt?

economy change is the best thing WG has done

Ignorance is not bliss, especially when you SEE the moment it kicks you [edited](well, this isn't ignorance by then any more, just needless secrecy). -
economy change is the best thing WG has done
Vanhal replied to Comrad_StaIin's topic in General Discussion
Do we even know how it's calculated? WG haven't mentioned anything about that afaik. So it is indeed that everything is rewarded exactly the same no matter the class? If so, that is stupid, because it's rather obvious that, for example, BB should get more for tanking and damage, while DD should get more for caps and spotting, CV for scouting and shotting down planes, and CA should get mostly balanced gains (and all of them enough to pay the bills, unless you failed badly)... We don't even know how much +/- rewards exactly each ship (and even premiums) gets, which leads to such nonsense like Amagi scroogeconomy. Unless we know those things, there is no chance for any meaningful discussions about this issue. -
Let's see, in the order: 1. Ships 2. Ships 3. Tanks suck compared to ships 4. Planes suck even more 5. Ships 6. Ships 7. Ships 8. Ships 9. Ships 10. Ships 11. No gold ammo for credits, it really destroyed WoT (gold ammo for gold was ok, no one used it on random) 12. Tier differences, get +2 and you can't do a thing in WoT 13 - ∞- Ships

economy change is the best thing WG has done
Vanhal replied to Comrad_StaIin's topic in General Discussion
No, WG haven't talked about economy, until last few months. And even if they were, it was "working like intended" crap. Well, if they intended to make broken economy which punished everyone below unicum for even daring to show above tier 8, then they succeeded. And even in the said last few months, they mostly talk about how they can't talk about it, especially in the context of lowered repair cost event (except NA server, when they said it is successfull). Also, new economy, while better, have the exact same problem as old one - too much punishing, not enough rewarding. Until players can play this game without getting huge loses for average game, it is broken. -
Bow armor nerf - was postponed - Why not do diferently?
Vanhal replied to Crusherheads's topic in General Discussion
Don't you know every change to any ship is a buff to BB, even nerf to BB? At least according to popular forum opinion. -
economy change is the best thing WG has done
Vanhal replied to Comrad_StaIin's topic in General Discussion
Hope it's not purposeful, this flag is temporary and the ranked is most unreliable, obnoxious grind imaginable. No, they arent. Economy has been utter crap till the end of closed beta, which was over a year ago, and people weren't exactly quiet about this. But the topic was always ignored by WG, when the word "economy" was mentioned, it magically wiped every red nick from said thread immediately. Every change to the economy (except the scrapped event) had been hurting players even more. We can discuss if the new economy is better or worse (it's better imo), but it's only WG initiative. Hoe it won't be scrapped though, just fixed, but fixing the economy was exactly what i expected WG do right after CBT, and they only broken it more back then. This now is the first positive change ever, but the people just mostly don't undestand it or are actively going against the change, because new economy, while better, is still too stingy and it's too tight. -

Also, if you are mentioning the polls, remember the old one, where over 90% wanted reduced repair costs. -
Which is honestly amazing on so many levels. 30+% are playing it MAINLY, despite it's not even half-baked, more like some few loose scripts flaunting on the wind. Downright punitive economy. 8 vs 8 which makes for as long initial boring phase as in PvP, but then the battle is quick, unsatysfying and mostly battling for scraps. In half of PvE battles i wanted to shoot my team to get more shooting for me before the battle ends (that's why i play this game - big ships, and shooting the big guns, otherwise i would just get some ferry simulator or whatever). Badly programmed bots who just yolo, but shoot better than most humans and the tank mechanics are helping them, because they are constantly bow-on. So, for me that is mostly lose of time, which are actually kinda funny as i don't even especially like PvP (however weird that sounds after 18.000 battles in WoT and 2500 here), but the co-op mode is completely borked and unfun, even compared to random with all its usual horrors. So i'm really astounded so many people are actually PvE players. Hats off if they conciously choose this (or maybe straightjacket on, i don't know). And i asked two WG employees here about the co-op data. One ignored me, and other flat-out refused answer because "they won't divulge such data", even though the RU guys did it two times already.

Ranked Battles S5 [all rank battle topics merged]
Vanhal replied to RenamedUser_92906789's topic in General Discussion
Because they would be as deserted as team battle. And depending on what happens after rank 1, they would either be monopolised by few groups who would turned off everyone else, or even more deserted in case of 1st rankers to have gone to their own league like now. No, there is much to be desired for a change in ranked (like the ridiculous mindless grind for example), but the decision to make them more accessible isn't a mistake, even if it may appear to be, especially after lose streak caused by some really bad teamplay. -
German BB's - Twice as many battles played over the last two weeks vs everyone else in every tier.
Vanhal replied to IanH755's topic in General Discussion
Wha? Are you this new in WG games? Since the beginning of WoT the AntiGermanBias is one of the urban legends that have more life in them than ton of cockroaches. So that was sarcasm* *God i hate to explain that. PS. No thoughts about Iso/Mine/Kami-kaze? More like this. Comforting thought - just wait for British BB, it will be pure carnival. -

economy change is the best thing WG has done
Vanhal replied to Comrad_StaIin's topic in General Discussion
Again, all i hear is punish punish punish (your post as an example, there is more). And then the economy is full of crap like the previous one. I don't care which one is on, just make the economy not be the gulag overseer. Punish, punish punish, WG thinks in this category all the time, we don't need players to think like that too. Maybe this time there will be shitstorm enough to make WG finally fix the economy even a bit. I doubt it, we either get nothing or get back to old bog which is way worse. -
And yeah, this time i really want to do it, but i'm afraid i will need more time than even the GNB grindfest.

Ale co ma ten screen wspólnego z Bismarckiem. Zatopiłeś 3 tą Błyskawicą, czy jak?

You said it yourself "PREMIUM consumables". PREMIUM. Not free, not standard, but PREMIUM. If you want something premium you pay for your premium. You want to play for free, you don't pay for premium. I think it is incredibly obvious?

An Educated Guess of RN & VMF Battleship Ballistics
Vanhal replied to fnord_disc's topic in Battleships
After reading that title, i expected angry, barely coherent rant about Russian bias, and instead i've got exactly what was supposed to be under it. Refreshing -

This does not compute.

Again, SERVICE goddammit COSTS. I was talking only about that. Want to argue ammo costs are too high or the service costs are too high compared to new calculation of earnigs? They are and the ammo cost would need to be removed. Funny, they are already stopping? Maybe it's some backslash for first day, but i've never saw so many brawls as today. It's just like the PT.

Only -50k on standard account for tier X? I would say it's much progress.

Oh, Straight Sailing Cruiser Association will become Straight Sailing Destroyer Association? And nothing of value was lost. Also, you say "Cruiser players we need to", and the clip on the linked frame depicts suicide
