    So that's why Clevelands ignore anything else than BB's... That would also explain my horrible experience with it in CBT, when i liked every single US cruiser except this one.

    WoW, so much hate and knee-jerk reactions... In the meantime, new players come, get burned on awfully bad low tier battleships and leave in disgust for some crappy mobas... Then the game will wither, and you ignorant fools will blame, i bet it would be battleships.

    I actually forked that 3kk upgrade and i must say that it helped, but my main concern is that its earnings are incredibly crappy for a premium. Not much (if any) different from regular Wyoming.

Maybe not, but it's completely irrelevant nitpicking as practical effect is exactly as i wrote, you can angle your ship to lower AP damage, but it has no effect on HE, thus HE bypasses most important armor mechanic for BB, and i'm not even commenting about superstructure armor and chance to hit it. Overall effect is that no matter the ship armor scheme, HE still abuses the hell of it. We already had two HP bars in alpha, HP for shells and buoyancy for underwater hits (mostly torps).While it was very good idea, apparently balancing it was too hard for WG, so they cut their wrists with Ockham's razor and yet another promising idea was stillborn. Point is, no way that they will introduce your idea which is basically the same thing.

    Fate of the ship is irrelevant. And it's still "it" for me and it always will be when i'm speaking english. Feminine ships are just too ridiculous. Masculine too tbh, it's just language quirks.

    XP is quite ok i must say. Never play with bots for grinding, they are punch bags when there is lack of BB's in random battles.

    Me too, even though i don't play CV's, but shooting stationary ships even BB actually can hit sometimes. In short, with big, bold letters: NEVER, EVER STOP MOVING. STATIONARY SHIP IS DEAD SHIP.

    Honestly better play cruisers. BB's not only don't forgive mistakes by their nature and require good planning and foresight, but currently they are countered by all 4 classes. If you are sure that game is good for you, then IJN BB's line are slightly more forgiving, having greater range and speed. Just beware tier 3 and 4. But, if you manage to grind that terribad mistake Myogi is, you can probably play BB, or at least you have patience for this. Warning: Izumo (tier IX) drive it's captains to seppuku as arguably worst ship in game, and being on IX tier you would lose incredibly amount of credits, time and nerves trying to play it. The US BB's are practically the same brawling suicide tubs till tier 6, which is better because it have lots of guns, then it crashes on another "hall of infamy" crappy wreck, the Colorado. If you manage to pass that, you are in the clear and the sun is shining for you, congratulations

    Każdy kto choć raz spróbował zabawy w osłanianie pancerników przed samolotami, tak jak każdy kto grał przeciwlotniczą grupą powietrzną na amerykańskim lotniskowcu natychmiast zauważa różnicę w nagrodach po bitwie. Krótko mówiąc, nie warto, bo nagrody za zestrzeliwanie samolotów są minimalne. Nawet paru idealistów, którzy to robią dla idei i zwycięstwa wciąż ma za złe WG, że kompletnie ukręcili łeb całej koncepcji przewagi powietrznej. bo zdobycie jej jest jak najbardziej możliwe i jest istnym błogosławieństwem dla zespołu, ale na randomie chodzi o exp i kasę. Ignorując osłonę własnych okrętów zwiększa się szansę na porażkę, ale nawet na takiej porażce praktycznie zawsze zdobywa się dużo więcej niż na zwycięstwie w którym zdobyło się panowanie w powietrzu ew. skutecznie osłaniało własnych sojuszników ale mając małe uszkodzenia zadane przeciwnikom. Stąd krążowniki bawią się w osłonę rzadko i głównie jeśli i tak im po drodze, ew. chowają się za pancernikiem przed ostrzałem. Stąd przytłaczająca większość myśliwców w powietrzu to te, które lostniskowiec MUSI zabrać, bo chcieliby brać na ogół 100% samolotów torpedowych. Inna rzecz, że czytając wypowiedzi kapitanów CVek i obserwując przebieg bitew balans i ogólna użyteczność myśliwców też jest do dupy obecnie. Jak mówiłem, przewaga powietrzna to dla WG jakaś abstrakcyjna koncepcja. A co najgorsze, to prawdopodobnie nie zostanie to zmienione, bo sprawa nie jest nowa, już od pierwszego zetknięcia samolotów i ekonomii w alfie jest to samo, na co testerzy zwracali uwagę setki razy i nic.

    Yes, they will be nerfed, no way in hell that WG will leave them alone with such obvious stats difference, and we all know that WG does balance changes based almost purely on stats. And you know what is most ironic? The best carrier players, those that rushed to T10 are right now the bulk of high tiers, their insanely good stats rising the overall statistics will cause the nerfhammer to hit so much harder. Unless WG waits with balancing to have most tiers reasonably filled up, in that case we may wait much longer and the hammer will be probably lighter. And all of you should remember the tears flooding the forum on last attempted nerf. So please no [edited] about whining.

    Length of battles

    The battles should be even shorter. There is more than enough time right now and the first 2-5 minutes are usually boring, as nothing happens. Plus, we've got no draws in domination right now, this is really great change that shows that once in a year WG listens to players ideas.

    Dobrze, że przynajmniej mamy teraz oficjalne i wielkie jak wół potwierdzenie, że nagrody za uszkodzenia są liczone od procentu a nie od liczby (bo wiadome to było od dawna a a jakoś tego nie było na forum widać). Może wreszcie krążowniki zechcą się łaskawie zainteresować niszczycielami a i lotniskowce trochę rozszerzą zainteresowania. Takie info powinno być wpychane do głowy każdemu graczowi, przyklejone na forum i zaznaczone wielkimi błyskającymi neonami w tutorialu, tzn. o ile kiedyś będzie tutorial.

    Yes i know. Even more funny, 20 minutes after reading that i had one of the best battles ever, and best since wipe... on Omaha.
  22. Curretly it's more like the other way: citadel hits is the only way battleship could deal with cruiser before being melted with ignoring armor HE shells and fires. But you should note differences - citadel hits are not even unrelialble, it's pure lottery and the HE barrage is constant and consistent, not to even mention BB are suppose to obliterate cruises, not the other way around and not getting equal chance. As it is now, BB's are countered by all 4 classes, while CV by 1, DD and CA by 2.

    Well, i like the distinct 6 turret looks, making it look like the Aoba would suck, but those turrets and guns stats are horrible even on paper. Buffing the turret traverse and even damage to the Aoba's level would not be even OP, considering incredible power of Omaha.

    I doubt it would be a match for Omaha and Murmansk even with 12 torp lauchers. Upgrading guns would also means nothing without turret traverse and RoF buff.
