I'm fairly sure that if somebody is on this level, not even lead indacator will help them in any way. This BS again... Then month later someone will do next one anyway. Just in a boring game without mods. Bah, i don't even try to do any conscious calculations, intuition + experience works as good as indicators, i can practically see that aim circle by now. My conclusions after first lead indicator affair are almost the same, except that now i KNOW that it's impact was insignificant, which was only suspected before. On a side note, if you understand that public perception is important, can you please do something about public perception of various other issues, like poor public perception of EU server team and their work?

That was to be expected, only it took longer (btw. he's Polish, so this time faster than Russian, ha). Supertesters cannot speak for WG (as they informed us many times themselves), so this was his opinion. Remember, even the first aim indicator was not declared illegal, only made unusable by changing the game. He's CV player, he laugh at aim indicators. You want WG employee answer in 3 hours? For actual problem?

That would be much more preferable to streams, contests and so on. Actually, anything ingame would be (yes, that x3 was much, much, much more useful than any number of streams). Especially with faulty communication.

True. Or at least it would be true if the grind wasn't horribly boring and practically pay to play at 8+. No casuals are gonna play that. Once again, that's why we shouldn't have to watch any streams, visits 3rd party sites and so on. Events should be IN GAME. At worst, here, at this forum. That would be fair for everyone, as not everyone have the time to watch long, boring twitch, not to mention usual lack of communication (why the hell news sometimes appear in spanish or german first and in english a lot later?).

Although we tested them on public test (and most likely ST did too) for 0.4.1 patch, not for 0.5.0. WG apparently noticed their patch (not even release, but patch!) is absolutely devoid of any content and changes, and this was the reason to postpone rankeds to 0.5.0. From what i read on the forums, nobody bought that, it still 0.4.1 content, no matter when it was opened.

Ah, ok then. But it's good to constantly remind WG and players of the bad parts of the economy just in case. And yep, chart was good. Won't agree with some parts of it, but mostly spot on.

Basically nothing new or surprising there... and even if, all that is not soon, or even soontm but more rather someday, perhaps in a galaxy far far away.

Those are not minor issues. At least not all of them. Hostile economy is absolutely critical, both in itself, and how it makes 8+ tier battles boring campfests.

Number of the version have nothing to do with the state of the game. both "beta" or "release" also don't mean anything really in this age of rampant "early access" hoaxes. Even single player 1.0 "full" games are often unfinished or parts of the game are cut off to be sold later as DLC. What IS worrying is the empty patch. No visible changes except logging screen (and this is also from really old trailer), no patchnotes, nothing.

I see that after one short moment of truth you are back to the pink mist. Maybe it could be even believable what you write, if not for Ectar and now Conway promising us something "in the future" every frigging time since the beggining of the open beta. Yet there was nothing, only more promises. And i don't think WG learned anything, Ectar and Brynd posts from thursday are clear as crystal, they are awesome people working their hands to the bone for us ungrateful bastards. We shouldn't expect anything really.

Another thing i saw were those posts practically everywhere popping up since the release was announced two weeks ago about "what i would like to buy if it only were sold" - premium ships, anything on discount. There were lots and lots of them. WG, dammit, there were people waiting for you with the cash in their hands, loudly announcing their desire to hand you this cash for a bunch of pixels! I'm not an expert on marketing, but no business ever (at least none that i've seen) chased off the clients with broomstick from their door. What you would do next - withdraw the port slots from the ingame shop so suddenly your insulting offer would turn into exclusive opportunity "buy port slots now, because you wont see them for months"? Stop hogging your pixels, they are not Faberge eggs!

I hope WoT will also make premium ammo only for gold again. I stopped plaiyng because like half of the tanks in random battles even on 4 tier shoot premium ammo. And i liked to make use of the armor, which was made pointless when every scrub with peashooter can pen armor normally way beyond their range.

And mine were saved from certain death by soldiers bearing that flag. No point to argue over history on a game site. Even less bearing a grudge over generations. Still think we should either allow all or forbid all, as all of them offend someone.

But i really don't care.

I write this exactly because i'm alpha tester. After witnessing a year of the game development i'm absolutely disillusioned about the future. If you call this cynism, you will be right - but then think why it is like that.

Well yes, i apparently was a bit too late, i didn't saw that mainpage announcement. Ectar admitted once that community guys know what the marketing does (in one of the big Tirpitz release threads).
