Except that anyone with just a tiny bit of experience will totally ignore that. They could shot even nuclear munitions or Death Star's superlasers, but as long as they do not do meaningful damage it's just easy to ignore graphical distraction.

No, they don't. On US BB's they are useless on every single tier (unless you are hellbent on brawling with Iowa or Montana). On IJN are slightly better, but still their accuracy up to the Fuso is absolutely appaling and even a single salvo without citadel usually do way more damage than secondaries in the entire battle. And you better keep the range in IJN BB's. I'm currently on famous Nagato so i'm trying to check if the fabled good secondaries here actualy works, but right now i'm stock and i never even used them, everytime i either kill the enemy or i die long before coming into range.

There were such events in closed beta. Since open beta, absolutely no discounts whatsoever on anything.

Because of that i hope everyone except me buys and plays one. I just hate running cruisers

A store without bundles everywhere? Just Boycot. There is no other way.
Vanhal replied to Makoniel's topic in General Discussion
I don't give a damn about unified account, but the bundles are evil. Not releasing any premiums into ingame shop for doubloons while making people buy said doubloons in bundles is insult added to injury. Making pixels "rare" is even more insulting and extreme avarice at that. I don't even mention premium ships prices themselves. Man i totally regret buying that Tirpitz, although i like that ship.- 320 replies

Statistics galore - State of WoWS (update #3 - premium ships)
Vanhal replied to Crysantos's topic in General Discussion
Not without premium. With premium, probably yes. -
Carriers are OP, Battleships are OP, Cruisers are OP, Destroyers are OP
Vanhal replied to Ectar_'s topic in General Discussion
True, but then you got accused of camping, being useless and so on and the cruisers you would want to seek protection are just turning tail and going the other side of the map. Although i love the "useless wallet warrior" QQ rants from guys instagibbed in third minute by enemy torps launched from visible destroyers thus earning the insane 48xp for that match -
For the love of god please do something about Japanese Carriers!
Vanhal replied to Cou2707's topic in Archive
Of course some people left when the CV ceased to be OP as hell sealclubbing machines. -
You earn monies with you work and buy ship bundles -> you earn ships. Kinda wild reasoning, but in line with WG. Oh, and buy your Murmansk, Atago, Aurora and Atlanta (if you want them of course), before those will be also removed from ingame shop for doubloons and sold as "rare" ship in bundles. Improbable? Not really. More than WoT style discounts at least.

Wut? Significant damage with... secondaries? That's not happening even if the enemy is AFK...

Still better suggestion that yet another acuracy nerf. The most common complaint about BB is that shooting is incredibly random, both the accuracy and the damage. And now we will be getting long range glass german cruisers which will snipe from max range too because if i believe youtube clips they are even more fragile than japanese ones.

It's way more dangerous. Just look at this thread. And that is most obvious and main reason the assist has to go. Beside, no matter what WG do they are just this type of people that will ALWAYS search the reason of their own shortcomings everywhere but in themselves. There will always be hax accusations. However, what is really odd, i seem to read way less those hax accusations on the game chat since the new assist appeared. How is that possible? Maybe all those accusers just stopped playing and instead came to vent on forum?

I thought so too, so i asked in other topic: And i got answered as such. Now, i know Sharana isn't developer, but his info are mostly accurate (not counting the CV obsession of course ): So the real point in this event is just week testing of the ships. That really should be done on test server, but some people my find that interesting enough to go and as the saying go "beggars can't be choosers" (yes, apparently we are beggars, not present or future customers). In short:

Well, kinda meh then. However, finally something IN GAME and potentially for everyone, not just couple of lucky ones somewhere on reddit or unanounced stream. Hope it will be the rule rather than exception.

Port slots will be wiped with the ships?

Problemy z synchronizacją złota i wolnego doświadczenia
Vanhal replied to TheMatadero's topic in Archiwum
Not really, if i understood the question right, it just meant that i would not want anything changed. And i'm just the type of old chap who is not interested at all in any dispersed things, i want everything about the game to be in game (well, plus official forum). Thanks for PvE question though, after playing AW i thought "how awesome it would be in WoWs" and not even that hard to do. Although knowing WG the gains for even the hardest PvE (and some of them are not easy in AW) would be still pitiful.
-
Lack of maps is the most glaring hole in the content. Ships are coming anyway and i'm indifferent about the clan wars. PS. For the completion, please add "expand PvE" to 2nd question and "not interested" to last one.

It's over 3 months already. Plenty of time, even i have one 8 already and i'm barely playing at all (and more or less 4 lines at the same time). Economy probably is the main (or one of the main) point. Surely for people stopping at mid tiers - sounds like there is quite a number of them. Oh, and those Tirpitzes and Atagos may have saved the gameplay at this point. Imagine if they were NOT here - constant 7 vs 7 battles, and very high probability of encountering one of the sealclubbing gangs.
-
That is not the problem of Tirpitz, that is problem of the game system itself. You most likely notice the abnormally high number of Tirpitzes even so long after the sale ends, but that is not because there are too much Tirpitzes, that's because there is still not enough players on those tiers.

Your personal grinding the tons of cash is irrelevant to what i meant: I never, ever told that the amount of grind is wrong. Nor do i want anything given to me on the silver plate. What is truly wrong is the point three in triple grinding system. Let's see: 1. Grind XP on ship to earn XP needed to unlock next tier - absolutely ok, even the numbers. 2. Use other ships to grind credits needed for said new ships - faster with premium ships and/or premium account - the numbers are a little steep, but the principle is also perfectly acceptable. However: 3. Grind silver on the other ships just to be able to play all ships that you already invested huge time and/or money in points 1 and 2 - THAT IS NOT OK. And encouraging to pay for premium have absolutely nothing to do with that (even if, making it more like p2p than just buying time). So what i propose, for the third time: - Totally remove the maintenance costs, both repair and ammo - Leave only cost for premium consumables and camos - Nerf ship earnings to compensate for removing of maintenance costs. Nerf rate would be dependant on tier, tweaked that the 5-6 tier would still earn the most, and the income would be lesser on lower and higher tiers, reaching small amounts on tiers 1 and 9 and ZERO on tier 10. That would resolve few minor problems at the same time, like the CV earning more than premium ships or the DD increasing torpedo cost, while still forcing people to play the lower tiers if they want to grind cash (point 2). Premium account would still retain it's effects. Also i doubt the apparently dreaded but highly doubtful effect of 10 tier oversaturation would appear, because playing only tier 10 would be dead end and not lead to any ingame progress. Only incentive would be fun (which i think is the purpose of this game). Next, it would rise the quality of the matches, having people more aggressive and it would at the same time lower toxicity steming from "**** i sunk, i lost 200000 and 10 minutes for nothing". Problem i see is not rewarding tier 10 players for good fight, but i doubt it will be huge problem, as it could be alleviated easily (by introducing for example higher free xp modifier for tier 10) - or not if the desired effect would be discouraging players to play their tier 10. Would work even better if some end game content like team battles or clan wars were introduced.

Except that even the worst tomato in game have accuracy higher than those secondaries, so making them depending on skill would be huge buff by itself - if they shoot like the cruiser guns, even without the cruiser range their accuracy would skyrocket by 1000% easily. Thus if WG decided on the current model, they should buff them, both in range and accuracy, because they are useless mechanics right now. At least buff them to CBT values.

4 DD per team is way too much, 2 is the ideal number, both when playing DD and other classes.
