Thanks for both codes. I unlocked Dasha by having a battle in the K.Albert - it had been gathering dust and I noticed that Dasha could be unlocked using a T3 ship.

I'd have suggested the Gallant T6 over the Cambletown although you will have to spend real money to get it. It's got decent stealth (my 15 point captain with CE) has a concealment of 6km which is OK. The torps are 8km although at 61kts they are a bit slow. This is Notser's review In theory it should be easier to play than the Cossack mainly in that you will encounter less radar.

Don't expect a DD to not move around - they aren't BBs... They may be setting themselves up for a launch at another target or just trying to stay away or get away from an approaching enemy (plane or ship). The only torps that you can fire when a friendly DD is in the area is DWTs and even they may give the DD player reason to change their underwear..

When I play my IJN DDs I tend to not use smoke and in other countries DD lines I try to do the same. Some gunship DDs do need to smoke up though - but unless someone else is spotting the target ships that can be fairly pointless. I find it frustrating (when playing CAs or BBs) when DDs smoke up in a cap and then obscure what they would usually spot. It's a bit hard to support DDs when you can't see what is approaching them.

I bought the cheapest package as I have a semi-decent captain (14 points) in the Maas.

I can only imagine what would have been said if that torp actually hit the DD.

Not for players - maybe as AI ships that sail around the edge of the map and have 10km (? or less) torps.

I'm sure there would be licensing problems for WG - I don't think Arnie comes cheap. You could 'mod' the voices yourself but would not be able to publish it (because to do so would be a breach) - unless you can afford Arnie's fee.

The Molotov has very nice guns and it's fun to play. It'snot tanky though. I just love those guns.

A few weeks ago I bought a Dell G3 17 with a nVidia 1050 ti and it runs the game at highest settings smoothly. It's only got a 128Mb SSD so I can only really install Windows there and not any games.

I think a number of players would like to avoid that game mode!

The one thing that I've picked up from playing on-line games is that's it's very rare for a player who has been banned because they use illegal mods/hacks is that they actually admit to doing so.

In my past dealings with WG they tend to close tickets as soon as they think they've resolved them and not when the customer does. I've re-opened the tickets each time with the reason that the problem has not been resolved. You don't always deal with people who know what they are doing - eventually you will get someone who will answer your queries in a manner that all are satisfied. It doesn't have to be the resolution you wanted but where the details are explained. Personally, I'd persue loss of premium if I'd not done anything wrong.

I was basing that on the YouTube videos posted including the one by Notser on the Boise. The Boise can mount hydro and radar in the 2nd and 3rd slots. The Julio can mount Defensive AA or Hydro in the 2nd slot and only Heal in the 3rd slot. No radar for the Julio (which I have and not the Boise).

i bought the Julio and got a 10 point captain with it and leveled with elite XP to a 14 point captain The logic is that if I had bought the Boise (without a captain) and unlocked the Julio I'd be stuck with a 3 point captain. I must admit I had a brain fart when I realized the. Julio has heal while the Boise has radar.

Sometimes losing streaks will happen - just as winning streaks also happen. If you play about a dozen games and the team you're on loses badly in them all it's probably a time for a break from the game. If you continue to play when you're on a losing streak it's going to be hard to enjoy the game - which should be the point of playing.

No problem. I used to play Grand Prix Legends - the patch that upgraded the original graphics helped that game - as did the modding community who made all sorts of amazing versions.

You need to have launched WoWS before (so, not a fresh install). In the past I did edit the files to enable replays and while that wasn't hard to do - this method is easier.
