I could understand a difference between SEA and the other servers because the SEA server is not run by WG just liscenced by them. There should be no difference in service between the EU and NA servers unless the difference is based on some regional law.

As these British DDs are like premiums in that you can put any British captain in them without having to train them and all modules are unlocked if you are going to grind the line you may as well play all the DDs for that first win bonus each day you play. If you are doing the campaign(?) to unlock the soverigns to get close to enough to buy the Cossack it may help to get the 'daily win bonus'. If you have multiple DDs you can always sell them when the British DD tree is released (and you need to use specialist captains for them to be effective). But if you're not interested in the line you may as well sell them now (unless if they're not in the dock means you 'win' them again).

I managed to get 5 stars in this operation on the 31st August 2018. I think that pre-dates 0.7.9 patch though.

I'd see that PR is you and W/R is more the team (although it's possible if you play well to affect that - but it takes more than one person to carry a battle - sometimes there really is no hope).

The October Revolution special camo burns my retinas. Also the Type-3 New Year (sort of crazy Italian flag colours).

I would think it a bit strange if this was only offered to WoT accounts as at present premium time is shared between WoT and WoWS (and maybe even WoWP). The only reason I kept WoT up-to-date for several years was to use up the gold that was on my WoT accounts for premium time and then just play WoWS. if WG did do this for WoWS I think it would be a good idea.

I found that YouTube channel 'Mark Felton Productions' a week or so ago and subscribed to it - there is a wide variety of interesting videos there.

If you're bottom tier in a battle you just become more of a support ship. I thought if you damage higher tier ships it's worth more XP and credits(?). If you want same tier MM go play ranked or clan wars. I know some ships do suck more when they are bottom tier.

I prefer the Scharnhorst over the Hood. The Hood is quite a long ship and I think it suffers in turning circle because of that. I like the secondaries on the Sharnhorst and it does have those torps for a close-in surpise.

The Aigle has been available in the premium shop and the Cambletown has also been there and available as a reward ship (for a fairly straightforward task/event).

I've not played WoT for a few years but this was a problem at one time in that game. I believe WG implemented something that stopped this from happening in--game - I'm quite sure it was just putting the user on ignore that did that. I think they are different game engines but it maybe possible to do.

The Cossack is fun to play but after unlocking the Lightning I like that just as mucb. The T5 is OK to play but the line gets better each tier you increase. I'm using a 14 point captain from the Gallant (the 'silver' DDs are treated like premiums at the moment in that you don't need to retrain the captains to use them properly).

The only thing did was use the C hull on the Mahan and use the AA flag on all ships (Minsk, Lenningrad, Blyskawica, Aigle, Haida, Gallant and Simms.

Yes, I learnt the hard way about the mines in either the first or second battle on the map. I've seen many (at time it seems like half the team) players sail off into the distance close to where the enemy boats spawn as it's easier to shoot them close range but this just leaves less AA cover for the rest of us trying to protect the ships from everything else. So, those players may get high XP for kills/damage but may lose out if the other players get swamped and we lose players and the ships we're supposed to escort. The scenario isn't that hard but it is frantic so it can be enjoyable. Do you know who does that voiceover - it sounds familiar but I can't work it out yet.

The thing with the containers it's all down to RNG. Some people have been lucky to get the Lightning (TVIII) out of a couple of the in-game (free) boxes and others have bought 20 containers and only got the TV, TVI and TVII ships. (or just one of those).

Yes, this should only be a surprise if you've only just started playing. At least this time for DDs the effect isn't a game full of radar equipped CAs, I'd like to see a cap of only 2 or 3 DDs a team though (and I mainly play DDs but do play BBs and CAs).

I just took a flag off an existing ship and remounted it with no problems. I then took a ship with no previous use (the TV GB DD) and mounted camo and flags etc with no problem.

Protect the CVs with a ring of submarines as well....

I've played the current mission in Blyskawica, Minsk, Lenningrad, Mahan, Sims, Aigle and the Haida and apart from the first battle (in the Blyskawica where I learnt not to go over 1/4 speed in a mnefield) I managed to survive and do decent amount of damage (no way it was good). I can understand why German and Japanese DDs aren't allowed but not sure why the Pan-Asians are not allowed in. In most games the random players managed to get 5 stars more often than not. I think in one game we did have a two player division but that was all. Use smoke either yours or your team mates. Don't sail off into the distance and don't lag behind as in both cases you can be isolated and may be badly damaged. It also means your AA won't contribute to bringing down the enemy spotter planes.
