Except that by going closer when a radar cruiser pops it's radar you've got further to get out of it's detection range.

I don't think reporting for AFK actually does anything. I've read the only report that actually reports the player is chat violation (and that seems to be an automated system based on the number of reports). Reporting for 'bad play' just affects the Karma.

If this was a problem for most of the players then it could be a WG problem. As it does not seem to be what Vlad_Vado has suggested should be followed. Also, in any game crash situaiton always remove any mods and just play 'vanilla' - quite often mods can cause problems.

As others have posted it may just be down to the OP not having a captain with IFHE as a skill. I presume that this may be caused because it was possible to get the Lightning TVIII DD in-game via a mission from a box so the lower tiers were skipped or of course they may have free XP'd a lot of the way.. Usually, when you get to TIX you would have at least a 14 point captain to be able to spec IFHE in the build (except where a line has been split). I was lucky to have the Lightning and Cossack at the same time and had enough elite captain points to take my 14 point captain (from the Gallant) ad make them a 19 point captain. Until I unlocked the Jutland they had RPF but that;s been changed to IFHE.

I guess if the CV rework is really bad for DDs (or others) then there is always scenarios (sometimes), ranked or clan wars left. Some of the clips I've seen (the USA rocket armed planes taking out DDs left, right and centre) it does not look good for a DD player. Mind you even now a CV player can make the game very bad for a DD by simply spotting them until the DD is taken out by team mates.

That does not look fun or engaging for the DD player......

That presumes that they actually have one. I think it's done by one of the cleaners in their own time using google translate.

While there was an end date for the Nueve de Julio/Boise mission there have been some missions that had an end date that was extended (there should be text in the mission description to say they will be extended) or no end date at all. Having said that I expected the mission to end yesterday. I bought the Nueve de Julio with the intention of using it to unlock the Boise. However, I didn't really enjoy playing the Nueve de Julio very much (too slow and bad gun range) and had only completed 2/3 of the progress. The lack of progress at the end was helped by the fact that I got the Boise in a Supercontainer in the early part of December 2018..

Not sure what the OP is on about. Maybe, they can't select 'open container'? If that;'s the case it may just be one of the random graphic glitches this game suffers from (like past missions re-appearing even though after a restart of the game they vanish). So, maybe a game restart is needed?

The other reason you may be seeing more CVs is that some players want to get the rewards for the snowflake on the ships. I have some low tier CVs (plus the Saipan and Kaga) which still have the snowflake on it (for some reason the Hosho (TIV) does not have a snowflake and has not been played). I'd only impose myself on a co-op battle though.

If you have a low tier DD (Smith or Vampire) I'd suggest taking one of those out for the LOLs. I used both in a co-op game to get rid of the snowflakes (with 110 ships in port it was just the quickest way to do so).

Being able to bind each slot consistently would be nice. I'm sure there are some ships where the engine boost (for instance) can appear in different slots. Also when looking at the letters the 'T' and 'Y' can look very similar at times (no alcohol or drugs either).

Over time it should balance itself out. There are times that after five or so games I simply stop playing for the day or several hours at least. Sometimes you need to be able to take a fresh approach after a break. I know that at times it does not seem to do that. It's holidays and it seems that some players have imbuded too much and are not doing sensible things (I was in one game earlier today a domination map and we had 2 DDs. One of our DDs (a top tier) just went behind a rock with our CV and smoked up whenever a plane got near This did mean that one flank did not have a DD to spot for us which meant we were picked off one by one.)

I've not heard of that before. I know the game sometimes gets graphical glitches and usually a restart of the game sorts this out (in the past missions that were many months old and completed re-appear as tasks). So, I;d suggest a restart - fingers crossed. I'd also remove all mods just in case that is causing the problem. Last week on Thursday in the middle of Clan Battles the chat server went down for over 30 minutes (I gave up so I don't know how long this lasted) and people could not join our CB division or leave it (the division window simply did not show in game).

My experience with Customer Support varies a fair bit. They have in the past helped with technical problems. However, more often than not I get the cut/paste responses which at times are not anything to do with the original message. The thing to do is to not allow them to close the message after the initial response - this can take several iterations. State the reasons why you don't think the issue is resolved. Sometimes this does get resolve din your favour but more often than not it does not. I think I even had a response to someone else's query. The one thing I've learnt is that you should not say anything to divisions of players (even if they are being window lickers) as they will tend to report you if they have any reports for the day left. While I find the lack of reports frustrating in many ways it probably saves more players being banned for no reason.

I've had games in this campaign where one or more of our BBs reverses into the harbour area. When challenged they stated that "they will come in use later in the battle". Needless to say the loss (due to not being effective) meant the battle did not go well for the rest of us. Oh, and the BB in the harbour did so something at the very end but they did come bottom in XP.

The ship I bought yesterday does not appear in the list of new ships but does appear in the list of results (I had two battles in the ship yesterday both losses - oin one game I was on the flank and was the only one to go back and stop an enemy Gallant capping our base - the CV could not be bothered and the Aigle had a DC). https://wows-numbers.com/player/500224368,BrusilovX/
