I get the felling that while the torp angles are not great you do have some flexability with them (they are not fixed).

If you can't do 10K damage in a random battle you're doing something wrong. Ignoring rare event like being dev struck by a CV in the opening of a battle - but if that happens more than once in a blue moon - you're doing something wrong.

That sounds like it's the way you play the ship rather than the ship itself.

I'm sitting on 780K coal with nothing to spend it on apart from equipment upgrades and I think I have all of them I need. I'll wait for the release of the new ships to see if they are any good (or interesting to play).

I sold mine for 751.77M. I still have the Legio Marina (1425), Gamescon Black (199) and Type 59 (720) left.

I saw the Edgar a few times on our team in co-op - once was a player and another time a BOT. (I took a mini-break for about a week or so and started to play a few days ago. I feel better for it.)

When hell freezes over comes to mind. Also - around the same time as the final CV rework.

Don't forget that to mitigate submarine homing torpedoes the target can use the Repair Party to break the signal. I'm sure BB players love doing that.

My guess is that this is driven by marketing or management rather than the devs. I'd also presume that everyone has to 'toe the line' and follow company policy or be sent to the gulag.

I bought the ship but only play it in co-op and have only had a couple of battles so far. I'm currently taking a break from WoWS. I bought it for coal and still have about 780K coal left after the purchase. Nothing else to spend coal on and it keeps accumulating (although not at the moment during my break).

Thanks for pointing that out - I'd missed that.

I use Modstation and it seems to only install the mods that actually work with the patch. When the mods are updated to match the patch they just get included if I've selected them previously. I used to use Aslain's mod pack but patch day and the days after were usually a problem.

I've not had that problem.

They've all been reset - half-way through the month making it almost impossible to get the rewards for the events that needed more daily events to have been completed. Really, trash on WG's part to do that. Edited: There was a discussion on the topic in this thread:

I finally logged in and this was one of the things I checked. So whatever progress has been made towards those recurring tasks has been lost (they weren't there yesterday when the daily tasks disappeared). I'm not surprised to be honest going on the past but I'm not happy as we've lost half of the month's progress to some of the tasks that I don't think will be possible to achieve this month when I was on target to unlock them (the ones that need 36 or 40 at the very least).
