I presume you mean the Asashio? Anyway - I'm fairly sure the results are lost. Also, the consumables are all used as well for no reward - this includes flags and camo. We may get a day of premium time back if we were using it.

There wasn't anything posted about the status last night. I even checked Twitter and there was nothing there. I did find the Reddit page where the outage was being discussed and form there found the Discord link where a similar discussion was going on. I was getting a 504 Gateway Timeout on the forums as well. At least it wasn't on a CB night. It still shows the lack of 'customer care' we've come to expect from WG though.

I've just put my rank 19 captain who is on the Bismark at the moment - so a secondary build. I've yet to have a captain specifically trained up for a premium unless there is no silver ship line (like the Commonwealth, Pan-American or Polish ships).

I've played this operation three times today (Boise, Neuve De Julio and Atlanta) in each game we've had at least one BB head off after the CV and in one game we also had one go after the G4 line. The Cossack is probably the best premium DD at the moment. For me the HSF Harekaze is the second best.

No, the NASCARs also race on race tracks and not just ovals. For instance Sonoma Raceway and Watkins Glen International. I know that is just two out of 20+. Yes, I'm a motor racing nut. The only NASCAR races I've seen was Daytona 500 in 1999 and Dover Downs in 2001 both are ovals and the second was part of a trip for the F1 race at Indianapolis.

@Donforce - post a replay (there should be a replay folder in your game folder - I think they are automatically kept now (we used to have to edit a file to get them)) of a game so others can comment on how your playing. As it's a team game it may not just be your play that is causing the losses. What captain skills have you selected for your DD? Having the 'right' captain skills can help a ship perform better.

In WoT did they implement a feature where dead players could not chat with the rest of the team (or was that a dream). I do know that inter-team chat was removed - too many payers giving away their teams positions (and not just the last vehicle left that was in hiding from the start of the game).

But at least it takes less XP to get rid of them (OK, you probably get less credits and XP though)....

I've had battles like that in my DD. A top tier BB was hiding behind an island and was only able to fire across the map to the other flak and were unable to support me and what I was spotting on that flank. I asked for support several times even clicking on the map yet nothing happened. I told them if they were not willing to support me I was going to relocate and did so . They were still sitting behind the same island when they were flanked by a DD and two cruisers. Needless to say they did not survive.

I agree - all we have is what the OP stated. Who know what really happened in the battle as we all miss things in-game. I regularly see players accuse others of camping etc but if they had watched the whole game (probably because they don't keep an eye on the mini-map) they would have seen the player in the middle of the action for most of the battle and may be forced to relocate due to the positioning of the enemy team.

My guess is that it's the type of damage taken - you can't heal AP damage so if that is all you've taken then heal won't work.

So far - the Colorado. Way too slow and if you spawn on the wrong flank in a higher tier game you may as well rage quit (not that I've ever done that). I'd unlocked all the modules and managed to get around 40K XP on her and yesterday I free XPd to the North Carolina.

Please read the post I've quoted that clearly shows that you did type "if it's a radar ship" and the previous sentence is referring to entering a cap circle and if it goes red. I did include this in a previous post but did not show it as a quote from you. Now, please explain how you were not referring to a radar ship in the cap. I'm afraid that it's you that is "clutching at straws" or are just ignoring what you've posted before.

The games starts and as a DD you head to a cap zone.. Always watching the mini map as you go.. you approach a cap always watching the cap icon because if it goes red the enemy has got there first. The minute an enemy ship is highlighted it triggers the part of your brain, if correctly wired, that allows you to remember where the ship is and more importantly which way it is heading.. If it is a radar ship you then put your crosshair on it press F3 and stay out if it's range.. Obviously as a Beta Tester you already know the range of radar don't you? Not if they are hiding behind an island and out of LoS. Do you understand that the radar does not need LoS to light ships up? I suggest you go back and read your posts or get someone to read them back to you and explain what you've written. While that may sound childish it's you that has been spouting things without backing up what you've stated and avoided answering questions whilst being condescending at the same time.

Who said anything about going into the enemy spawn to spot radar cruisers? That's certainly not something I'd even try to do.

You clearly think it's a radar cruiser that's gone into the cap. Well, I've rarely seen that happen - it's usually DD that has done that and not a radar cruiser. Do you just play co-op where that probably happens. So, you've failed to explain how you spot radar cruisers before the light you up yet managed to continue with your misplaced superior and condescending attitude. I'm afraid that it's not me that is the child. What is more you're condescending without having the answer or the ability to answer a straight question.

I'm one of those players who would prefer to play a game rather than watch someone else play it. I do watch YouTube clips which have replays from streams and other 'game guides'.

Except that you've not shared your elightenment and great knowledge of the game.

So, who is going to spot the radar cruisers if you all sit out of range which in most cases includes spotting range? One thing that does help with goading the radars is that the change to BB AP means that as a DD you can survive a lot longer when under fire.
