Only at the moment - the same is true of the Roma. The same was true at some stage of the Dunkerque and Gallant and both have 'flashed out' tech trees for their captains now. Mind you I'm still waiting for a Russian/Soviet BB line for my Nikolai captain (I used to think he was decent but I played the ship to get rid of the snowflake recently and he is only a 12 point captain at the moment). The ships I expect to go nowhere for a while are the Blyskawica (Polish) , Neuve Julio (Pan American), Perth and Vampire (Commonwealth)

I doubt that the HSF Harekaze will ever be in the shop. Maybe, just a Harekaze but I somehow doubt it. OP - As others have posted - it depends on which ships types you like to play. The Scharnhorst is a good solid BB - that isn't really a BB.

I read somewhere over the weekend that Paypal(?) insisted that WG put the premium shop on a different server for security purposes. I did not check to see if you could buy anything over the weekend though - if the game servers and forum servers were dodgy would you try and spend more real money? If they use the same servers for the forum as the game I guess they've not heard about redundancy.

I was getting a gateway error on the forum before I was affected by the problems with the game server (they may be the same thing). I think the forum problem persisted longer than the game server problem.

I'm also in the position of having over a year of premium having bought a year's worth prior to Xmas in the yearly deal (this is the first time I've done so). I was more upset by the lack of information on what was happening even an acknowledgement that there was a problem. I checked the Twitter (I know not everyone has a twitter account but there is an official WoWS account and it would be one of the easier places to post something), the web page and there was no news. I did find a link on Reddit where someone did post something but that was just a list of the number of attempts at a reboot.

I do that sometimes to see if the enemy DD can recognize the difference between DWTs and normal torps (or even if they just spot who fired them). Believe it or not sometimes they evade and give a broadside. I've had enemy DDs to the same to me and while I'm fairly sure they are DWTs I'm never sure until they pass under me......

The only difference is that Bismark has hydro and Tirpitz has torps. I've got both the Bismark and the Amagi. I'm not that fussed about continuing up the German BB line but I do want to get the Yamato even if it means grinding the Izumo (which has apparently been improved),

I've found that if you 'push' in a BB you may get support but as soon as someone shoots one of the support ships they turn around with the consequence that you end up on your own which does not usually turn out . Do this a number of times and most players will stop pushing and just join the rest of the team either hiding behind islands (including BBs) or map border hugging.

Did the OP raise a ticket with support to give details of this player? If they did I presume they will get the usual response about the automated system will handle this. If that is the case then it's a shame - obvious bot is obvious bot.

In the recent credit grind for the PEF mission and also in order to get rid of the snowflakes on my 110+ ships I ventured into co-op again after many years away. Yes, the AI in c-op does just push the objectives on a domination game but also push forward in other modes (in standard battles there is still one cap). The AI carriers decide to pick on one ship (even one with good AA) and will fly over other ships including AA cruisers to continue hitting that ship. In order to take advantage of this behaviour I tried to do the following; 1) Not be the first ship spotted 2) Be on the flank of any AI push to take advantage of flanking fire 3) If you do get one or more AI ships sailing towards you try and kite away 4) Don't be too passive as you will miss out on doing damage to the AI ships as they don;t last very long against your team (usually) The only time I would ram would be when the AI ship was the last one left and I'm not the last one for the team I am on. Co-op does not give sufficient rewards for me but it is one way to get a lot of wins in a short time,

I have to agree with both of these assessments. It's bad DD play on your behalf sitting broadside on going backwards and forwards in a channel where you know torps have been fired multiple times. Also the shells that got you were probably just speculative shots as the enemy would have seen the torp hits (or just seen the damage count change) though RPF had picked you up the whole time (I'm not sure who had the RPF on the enemy team bit there could be multiple ships with RPF or they could the information with their team. The only time you want to be broadside on is if you're trying to take overpens (as the shell does not have time to arm between when it enters and then leaves your ship) rather than bow or stern on (which is better for making yourself a small target for torpedoes - I did get taken out in my Jutland once by a Boise that shot me in the bow as I was trying to kill an enemy DD that was hiding behind and island on my right flank). I also try and keep away from friendly DDs when in the cap - torps or shots directed towards where they may have been spotted may hit you. It also gives you both room to maneouver and different angles on target. I'd be nervous around you after seeing you fire torps off in front of the friendly T-61.

Well, maybe it's the boss that has caused this problem by how they've set up the severs (or some higher management).

Personally, I'd find something else to do while the game is in it's current unstable state (unless you play without camos, flags or premium consumables).

On Reddit someone pointed out that it would be nice to timestamp those updates so people get an idea of how long this has been happening for. While I do have sympathies for those involved they are supposed to be providing a service. A company should be in a position to keep that service up and running including over the weekend when most people will be playing their game (as most of us aren't working the weekend).

I kinda expected that to happen so I've been downloading the SEA client where i think I have a Fushin (bought by accident a few years ago). I'm not going back to WoT though - left that a number of years ago. I kept the client up-to-date for a year or so just ot use up the gold on premium time for WoWS but once that was gone the client was uninstalled. I did download the movie Hunter Killer earlier so I've removed a few brain cells and am watching that.

Well, if you were on the losing or wining side the results don't appear to be registering (if the game crashes) but I'm sure your consumables (camos and flags) have been used up.

Hasn't the CV rework already been delayed by 'at least a week'.

After the events of yesterday I've not seriously tried to play the game today - we lose consumables including flags with no result being recorded. The forum is also up and down like a bride's nightie. No news or updates on the Twitter account. I've only found information on Reddit:

Personally, I'd wait for the CV rework to hit the servers. If there is a need to re-do builds in general to handle the CV rework I'd hope that there would be a period where at least captain skill resets would be free and maybe even dismounting of equipment would also be free (and not cost gold).

There are enough YouTube videos out there for players to look at suggestions on 'how to play well' that also explain the mechanics of the game. Do all the players watch them - I doubt it. Even some players who do watch them are not able to replicate that in-game. It's the old saying - "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink".......
