Giulio Cesare stays as it is + balance of other premiums
BrusilovX replied to anonym_cwVecOS6ecVy's topic in General Discussion
I think the sample size is too small. You probably need over 100 battles and even that could be low. Those 19 battles in the GC could have all been when you were bottom tier. -
Giulio Cesare stays as it is + balance of other premiums
BrusilovX replied to anonym_cwVecOS6ecVy's topic in General Discussion
I agree - the process of releasing ships before they are balanced is flawed. A ship should only be released when it's been balanced and that is the basis of the whole problem. -
Except that the requirements are Tiers VI to VIII and the Exeter is Tier V (as pointed out in the first post) - so it can't be used for the mission.

I have the DoY as well as the Nelson. I like the Nelson's AP though. I find in co-op DDs are not as much fun as the AI pushes so it's harder to keep the distance from them (and attracting for from the supporting cruisers - while our own cruisers are hiding or just not effective).

I'm doing that and apologizing at the start of the battle for doing so.... I have to wash my hands afterwards also. I was getting citadels with HE on an Omaha - nose in as well......

[Poll] AA sector reinforcement, are you using it efficiently?
BrusilovX replied to elblancogringo's topic in General Discussion
I've found that some CVs will be able to attack the reduced side before the change of priority takes place - meaning by the time it's switched the CV may be able to attack you again with the priority set wrong. -
Newport Station Operation - flooded with potatoes
BrusilovX replied to SEN_SEN_Channel_Portugue's topic in General Discussion
The names of the potatoes in the team list can be read easily. Why did you obscure the clan but leave the player's name in view? It's considered 'naming and shaming' and is against the forum rules. Edited: As others have said with this - the teams are random and don't expect them to 'do what is right' in the scenario. It's like randoms but worse because there are specific objective that more often than not require team work. -
I may be missing something but.... I've completed all parts of the Naval Aviation Collection and have the Hermes in my port. I can't see where the 'custom camos' are for the DD, CAs, BBs or CVs. I have premium and silver ships in DDs (Gallant, Cossck and Jutland) , CAs (Belfast, Fiji and Edinburgh) and BBs (Warspite, Hood, DoY and KGV) and just the Hermes. I also can only mount a single flag on the Hermes. I would have though that when the collection was unlocked the rewards would be available then and there. Doe anyone see these camos in the game yet?

I had the 'infinite battle load' bug around 19:30 GMT last night.
-
While it's not a real advantage I'd be happy if these boarder huggers would take increased damage over time.
-
It's also got decent AA - so ideal for the Dunkirk scenario when that reappears.

Thanks - I'll download the latest version then.

"Sub Octavian" regarding possible changes to "Premium" ships that are considered "OP"
BrusilovX replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
I agree with that. I wonder if WG has done anything to look at how it evaluates the premium ships before they are released? I somehow doubt that as it involves effort. -
"Sub Octavian" regarding possible changes to "Premium" ships that are considered "OP"
BrusilovX replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
From the above it appears you don't appreciate the difference between WG applying a buff to a ship (making it better) and a nerf (making it worse by reducing it's effectivneess). I don't think any player would complain about a buff while most players would complain about a nerf - regardless of which ship it is. Premiums in WoWS have even been protected from some (i.e. affecting all ships) nerfs such as the IJN torp change (which did not affect the Kamis). -
Anyone get any Ship Missions from Air Supply containers?
BrusilovX replied to Admiral_H_Nelson's topic in General Discussion
I bought 10 containers and received the Edinburgh - which was OK as I'd only got to the Fiji in that line. -
Yes, I recall seeing that post but I could not find it again. The one thing that put me off that was I wasn't sure what was in the download file.

There are high and ultra settings in the game setting menu (which is on the game launcher).

"Sub Octavian" regarding possible changes to "Premium" ships that are considered "OP"
BrusilovX replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
While that may be true I've already got enough T6 premium ships. The other thing to keep in mind is that they are testing this 'balancing' of the T6 GC while the rework of the CVs is still ongoing. The only way to test something is in a stable environment - the game is anything but that at the moment. Anyway, I don't want to accept in-game currency (which WG have control over how much it's "worth") for something I've paid real money for. I'm certainly not spending any more money on products (other than gold) that WG can change. -
Spotters are breaking cyclones... Again

Only after radar that can see through islands...- 16 replies

They are all premiums - no 'silver' Italian ships yet.
-
There are four at the moment; (Gulio Cesare, Roma, Duca D'Aosta and Abruzzi).
-
I did that but I still have the problem - it does not happen after a certain number of games it just seems to be random. I also have 'slow GUI' at times.

An idea to fix the, supposedly, OP Premium "problem"
BrusilovX replied to xxNihilanxx's topic in General Discussion
I'm sure that would happen. In a recent game a player in a Kitekaze reported me because I would not spot for them - they were smoked up in the cap circle (so they weren't spotting) and they wanted me to move around the cap (I was a distance away in a CA) . When I play an IJN DD I will try to not smoke up so I can spot and just fire my torps at enemy ships. I know the Kitekaze wants to use it's guns but hey.... -

BrusilovX replied to xxNihilanxx's topic in General Discussion
I somehow think that WG will never do that - the only way players will be happy if there are several ways that compensation is made available from dubloons, steel to real money (whatever the player paid for the ship - players who bought lots of Xmas boxes will not get all the money back just the cost of one container). I doubt that WG will part with anything other than in-game resources. -
I get the message that the web page can't be found. I did a google search and there was a page in reddit but that was 9 months old and was going on about the unreliable state of the web site.
