I saw this video the other day and I agree with iChase - the ships at that level don't have very good AA and some don't have any AA at all. Also some BB players have yet to learn the WASD cheat (and some never do). However, new players can't be protected forever. There are games at all tiers where the MM and spawn really suck bad (I once in a Colorado and the only lowest tier ship and spawned on my own on the flank - it wasn't a fun experience but I'm glad those games don't happen very often.

I'm in Cork (Ireland) and have had a DC twice today - once this morning I was in the dock for a short period but the next one about 20-30 minutes ago was at the end of a battle where I was the only ship left on our team. I did reconnect but it was a draw.

I just had a DC in-game - the second of the day. The first one was before 9am GMT and the other one was in the last 10 minutes. The first was while I was in port but the second one was towards the end of a battle and I was the only one left on the team and was about to burn down a Roon. I returned and it was a draw...... Internet is OK - I checked access to other sites.

As others have already posted the speed can be a problem. I still have nightmares about a battle where I was bottom tier and the only ship to spawn on one flank. The players who spawned centrally went to the other flank and I didn't even make it to the centre of the map sailing slightly away from the middle of the map. I was spotted and just became a damage pinatta...... The only good news is that the USA BBs get better in the higher tiers as otherwise the Colorado would stop me from progressing up that part of the tech tree.

I bought the dazzle camo for Le Terrible - I already had it for De Grasse and Gascogne which I liked. Unless, it's TX I don't intend to buy any permanent camos for silver ships - unless I find one that I really like to play (the Lightning comes to mind) when I may be tempted - but then I sold the Lightning and have the Jutland at the moment.

I've not had any email about coupons - was it something for everyone?

Maybe a special colour for the playername in-game- they've got that for pink and orange so it shouldn't be too hard to do. What colour would be suitable for a player who is chat banned? Maybe a brown colour?

There are AI support CVs (and their support ships) for the players team that appear and provide air cover and healing after the DDs and cruisers have been taken out before you attack the bases. So,I presume it's the CVs that are the 'problem'.

That is bad news - we need more operations not less. The operations are already in-game it should be easier to balance them rather than introduce new concepts that may or may not be implemented. How much time was spent on that 'great idea' the NTC?

My first thought on this was no but then I thought we should wait until the CV 'rework' is finalized............

I don't think his voice is as distinctive as Sean's is. But why not.

What location is that file in? I even checked appdata and I can't find anything similar to that. Is there an option in the settings to generate the file?

Are you referring to the entries in the LOG folder? I've just checked mine and the last entry was from 2019/05/30 (Informer.log) and the last monitor file was from 2019/04/25. I do use Aslains mod pack so I'm not sure if that interferes with the logging.

Also - the only operation that was DD specific.

Yes going back to the full rots of operations would be nice but I'd also like to see new ones - maybe even for some of the other tiers?

Sean should tell WG that he can do it for free but after he's done the recording present them with a huge bill (as WG don't really understand 'free').

There can be - it just needs a couple of players on the team that know how to pass on information and others to listen to it. The problem is that players ignore the suggestions to which caps to go for etc.

The reasoning behind the bundle policy is buried in a spreadsheet somewhere!

Don't forget there is also ranked and CB going on at the same time. It's just a little bit silly - as a player you have to decide what is more important in-game but also how much time you're willing to spend on the game. I've just taken a few weeks off just for the break and i feel better for it. Yes, I've missed out on some rewards but it's nothing to be that worried about.

Also - post some replays so you may get some feedback on how you're doing in-game.

Like any grinding game it can be necessary to take breaks from the game in order to 'freshen up'. While the regular missions are great it does mean players can be induced to grind even more if they want the latest reward. I'm not sure why there is CB at the same time as Ranked as players in an active clan will probably do both. As expressed earlier in this thread and elsewhere on the forum the number of operations should be increased to provide a little more variety. I would have hoped that there would be a new scenario either every patch release or every several patch releases. The removal of many operations because of the CV rework was another bad impact of the CV rework. Edited: I'm not sure about the introduction of submarines into the main game - having them in a separate game mode would have been fine although it may have split the player base on which mode to play for a while at least, I know it's not a simulation but submarines were more of an ambush weapon in WWII - a fleet at sea was usually too fast for them if they were not set up for an ambush.

Yes, I was in a ranked game in a Benham the other day - the enemy cruisers including 2 radar cruisers had managed to get behind hard cover and our team did not push and our one radar cruiser went to a different cap. I was expected to somehow take out the cruisers and the enemy DD - when I got close I was being radared and fired on by at least three ships while I could not see our team firing at anyone. Our Iowa pushed up but wasn't supported and they took a lot of damage. Our Khronstadt pushed up through another cap and was taken out. I was blamed for the loss........
