If you suspect that something has happened in-game then the best thing to do is to send a replay along with the times you think something may have happened (to help the viewers see what you think was wrong) to customer support via a ticket and let them deal with it, I've been in click parties with three divisions from BFS and we use Discord but don't give away any information if we're not on the same team. In fact I delight in torping my clan mates especially if they've been silly enough to sit still in a smoke screen. From the chat everyone seems to enjoy such games.

What do former WoT players think of WoWs?
BrusilovX replied to HassenderZerhacker's topic in General Discussion
I was in the closed beta of WoT and was briefly a supertester on the EU server (there were leaks from the RU server which resulted in WG limiting their exposure by only allowing supertesters on the RU server - I'm sure there is some logic to that but it eludes me). I wasn't happy with the gold ammo as it reduced the effect of armour - the old "press '2' for skill"... What got me in the end was the endless trolling and team damage. The toxicity of the player base was something else. An M6 on our team decides that the thing to do is continually shoot my TOG II. I did the right thing by not shooting back until they turned blue (even though I wanted to) Two light tanks on our team decide it's best to shoot a heavy rather than play a battle - I did retaliate i this one though. Our top tier IS-3 decides to shoot and troll a French TD (I did swear at them for heading to the back of the map). I've been playing WoWS since the beta. There are times that I've had to take a break from the game as there always seems to be missions to grind and sometimes that needs a 'breather' from. -
I managed to play the Heavy Cruisers (admittedly in co-op) and found them OK - the armour is decent when angled and the heal is powerful. The reload is a bit sluggish but that is to be expected. I bought the London and again have only played it in co-op but it's helping me get those citadels in the event going on at the moment.

10 random containers just appeared in my port
BrusilovX replied to Red5kunk's topic in General Discussion
I looked for them in the news yesterday but could not see them through all the other important news items (i.e. last chance to gamble to get a UK cruiser etc). Thanks for posting though. -
Le me guess - "Go to the edge of the map"? A QoL thing for most BB players (and others)......

How can you earn 1380 royal tokens for free? (answered)
BrusilovX replied to GulvkluderGuld's topic in General Discussion
The thread should stay as I'm sure others will have the same question (I think there's another thread on the same topic but the poster removed all details). Sometimes things are not always obvious! -
Commanders listed in the Captain's Logbook: How to get them?
BrusilovX replied to Purnylla's topic in General Discussion
Some of the commanders like Theodore E Chandler (and Hood) are not 'special' in that while historical figure they don't have any 'boosted' skills. -
It will come back with the implementation of the glorious Soviet CV line and the CV will be the Lexingtongrad with Mig-17 jets, homing torpedoes and stealth bombers (and guided anti-ship missiles with a range of 50km) - also invisible unless you bump into it.......
-
No, you are wrong the 'advanced Excel macros' will prove that they all need a buff - which will then mirror the (alleged) opinion on the RU server.

The way this is going there will soon be no operations to play. The WG spreadsheet will then be right in that 'no-one plays operations any more'........

Is fire prevention skill worth it ?
BrusilovX replied to Admiral_Oily_Discharge's topic in General Discussion
With so many HE spammers in-game now it's a useful skill for a BB to have. -
Try and monitor the temperature that the card is running at - maybe also the CPU. It's my guess that if the game (or laptop) keeps locking up that is a prime candidate. Does this happen to other games or is it WoWS specific? You could also have a look at the 'Event Viewer' in Windows - that can help diagnose some problems. Laptops can be dust magnets which could cause problems. Far easier to 'dust clean' a desktop - but I've had to use laptops since May 2015 due to working overseas.

Blyskawica Verdict? Worth Some Coal?
BrusilovX replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
I bought the ship back in the day. I don't think it's worth using coal on the ship especially with the ships that were available only for steel coming back as coal ships. -
enough of the new ships.. how about some more maps?
BrusilovX replied to Dr_Snugglestein's topic in General Discussion
I'm fairly sure that I've also five starred all the operations as well - all done in random teams not even in a division with other players (the hard way), I didn't farm them I just played them occasionally. The problem is now that the ones available are reduced from the ones that are out there, The original reason for taking them out (CV reiwork) isn't really a valid excuse as CVs have been back in co-op for a long time (they were removed because of the CV rework for the same reason the operations were removed). -

BrusilovX replied to Dr_Snugglestein's topic in General Discussion
Sounds more like a map for an operation than anything else. Sadly, WG think that operations are not popular enough (maybe because some were removed for the CV rework and others are now bugged). -

The shell trajectory would have to be fairly flat as otherwise they'd just hit the roof of the cave. -
Narai Op. come in 2020 bugged
BrusilovX replied to SEN_SEN_Channel_Portugue's topic in General Discussion
In another thread WG stated that Operations were not popular. I can see why after watching this replay. They've removed a number of operations and messed up some of the remaining ones. Well done WG! -
Having read some history I was impressed that the Byzantines held out for so long.

I find the Baije OK with decent dispersion. I don't think they are supposed to be used for kiting though. Notser's review: Aeroon's

I was wondering what that 'camo' was based on - thanks for posting.

Update 0.9.1 is available for download
BrusilovX replied to wot_2016_gunner's topic in General Discussion
The one that downloaded for me was in the region of 500Mb - that's with the Ultra client type (the download for me only shows how much is left and the percentage downloaded - so the numbers may be off probably using another 'special' spreadsheet to calculate the numbers on screen). -
Hopefully, when the Italian BB line is released there will be some similar ships available in-game.

I've seen BBs do this and that was over a year ago. I was in a DD and wasn't getting any support against three or four enemies that I had spotted and was engaging. I asked the BB iit was a top tier BB as well) several times to support and even pinged them on the map - nothing happened. I ended up leaving the flank and the BB was still there when the enemy DD and a cruiser flanked them - the enemy BB was following them. They were firing across the map but not supporting the flank they were on (they could not fire to support me as they were hugging the island).

Quicker shorter Random Battle times
BrusilovX replied to LowSpeedHighDrag's topic in General Discussion
As others have said - if you don't have 20 minutes then don't press 'battle'. Another poorly constructed and biased poll - does not have an option to 'leave as it is'. -
please change requirements for daily missions!
BrusilovX replied to albin322's topic in General Discussion
The bit I wondered about that thread was do WG really think players in CB will 'do their own thing' in a battle and not contribute to the team effort? I doubt that there are any clans that would tolerate players not following the directive of the leader(s) in the battle. To me that is some of the logic that make WG look foolish frequently. I'd see that some parts of the results of CB would contribute. When CB is on it's possible to play around 4 hours that evening. Do WG really think that we should be spending more time in-game?
