Limitless 10 Skill Points Commanders Please

Yes, and the more 19pt captains you have the quicker you accumulate Elite Captain XP - so long as you play them. -
Limitless 10 Skill Points Commanders Please
BrusilovX replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
Some players just want to get to TX ASAP as they think that once they get there as they will be top tier all the time that their stats will improve - only to find, as others have pointed out, that they lack the experience to play at that level. -
Limitless 10 Skill Points Commanders Please

I've not posted anything that would suggest that I am butthurt over what you've proposed. I'm sure that in some countries even now they send children up chimneys or just get them to operate machines to produce the clothes you wear. However, I'm not sure what that has to do with the topic but then from your responses I doubt that you are rational. Please go away and play another game that is PTW. -
Limitless 10 Skill Points Commanders Please
BrusilovX replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
Most players who have been in the game a while would have sufficient elite commander points to bring a new captain up to tier 10. If they don't it doesn't take that long by playing their other 19 point captains to get those points. I don't think that 10 point commanders should be acquired at will. We've all been there starting out with 0 or 3 point commanders at some stage. -
Just like the players that like to go down the middle of Two Brothers..

Yes, those DWTs are no use against other DDs - so you either ignore them or wait until the late game to use them. I like torping other DDs that are hiding in smoke so I've not pushed that far up the Pan-Asian DD line.

Their finest hour - Customer Support

I've had replies from CS that I wasn't happy with before - I once I even had a response to someone else's ticket. Just reply to the response pointing out what they've missed. Don't expect a response promptly either give them time to respond. -
Got Pink status because server is unstable (again)
BrusilovX replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
Just because there are problems it does not mean that they affect everyone all the time. Not everyone has DCs. We may have dysnc problems at times though or it may just be bad aim. -

Make sure you run a ping plotter to see the path between your PC and the game server. In the past I've had problems with servers along the way. If it was just the game server then a lot more players would be affected and the forum would be flooded with threads and posts on the topic. It's free and there are details here: https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/article/10252/ -
This news item was posted today in the last hour. I went to click on the participate and 'This offer period has expired'.

I was fairly sure that it was already in-game. -
Ah, I've had missions that appear months after they finished and are phantoms but never news artices.

I have all three. I did not have the Fujin until last Xmas when I bought several of the low tier premiums and then bought some Xmas crates (I don't recall how many) and the Fujin was there,

Windows treats (or used to) one of the program files folders as 'protected' (I think you only get the second one when you have a 64 bit system). I think that is why some data goes into Appdata. I should state that despite my approach of not installing to either program files folders I still get programs installing bits to Appdata. You can change the default path for games just so long as you do so consistently (e.g. use . g:\games all the time - I personally just put my initials in front of the program files folder name). If you install into the default path for some games and not others the it can be confusing (maybe). I think it was Windows 98 (?) that introduced Windows Access Control which used to cause all sorts of grief.

I used to help out on the tech support team for RTR (Rome Total Realism which is a mod for Rome: Total War) and finding out the technical specs of the system was one of the first things we established - we even asked people to post certain details when they asked for tech support. Most seeded to try to do that but others would not bother but still expected the problem to be resolved. The Appdata folder was regularly ignored when people did a reinstall. It was also suggested to not to install in the standard program folders - we suggested creating your own game folders away from the program file folders.

Post the replay to see ho you supported the team effort.

Don't forget with Appdata it's a hidden folder so you need to change your Windows Folder options to see it. You may remove all traces of the game from your program files folder but there could still be traces in the Appdata - so if you don't delete that after using Windows Add/Remove Programs those traces of an install will be left giving problems to subsequent installs.

I have to wait one more day - so the 6th attempt.

Account password lost after WGC change yesterday
BrusilovX replied to BrusilovX's topic in General Discussion
It turns out I can get the password back via chrome - I don't know what it is tohugh. WG have responded to the ticket and removed my old phone number. Happy again! -
I've been using the WGC for a few years now and have had no problem getting into the game or the forum. I was playing WoWS yesterday and there was some messages about a change to the WGC - as I was using it I did not take notice of it. This morning I've tried to start the game but WGC has disconnected me and I need not change my password the problem is that it's none of the ones I thought it was. Did anyone else have to re-enter the password today? In order to gt a password reset WG can send an SMS code to the phone associated with the account. I went into my account and tried to change the phone to my Irish phone (the phone associated with the account is a UK phone and no longer works for some reason) but in order to change the phone I need to enter the SMS code sent to the old phone - really? Anyway, I've raised a ticket but I guess it will take a few days to get resolved. So, I guess I get my WoWS mini-break. You would think that if you were logged into your account on=line you would be able to change the details without needed the old phone still.
