I had that the other day - the only thing you can do is send them a PM on the forum after the game explaining that you could not respond in-game- not all players accept PMs though. Yes, I am currently chat-banned. I think for the first time in WoWS - I was chat banned in WoT (I responded to an insult in-game and there were two WoT admins in-game - almost instant chat ban). if you are in a clan you can let members know you are banned and you can always use discord or whatever method your team communicates.

Since naming and shaming on the forum is not allowed this is a non-issue. As for in-game - it could always be an option for a player to reveal that they are chat banned or not (although that may be slightly harder to implement).

I was going to, jokingly, suggest the bit about the type of shell being used. But then again a lot of BB players seem to throw a lot of HE nowadays always..... ffs

That just show that BBs are the easiest class to play. So, maybe WG should nerf BBs so their numbers fall? or just educate the playerbase.

Well, the last time I played rank (Over six months ago) I was in a DD trying to cap and our BBs were hiding behind islands and refused to move out of them - so they could not shoot at what I'd spotted let alone the ships that were getting into the cap. Our CAs were doing the same. I've seen that behaviour in randoms as well. I'e seen many screens of the mini-map that show such play is a regular occurrence. The other day in a no CV or DD game I was in my Bayard on North - it was a TIX game so I decided to go behind an island and shoot from there (it was the flank with the 'keep left' signs). A Tirpitz spawned on the same flank as I did but sailed behind an even bigger island and started to ping me on the map. They sailed up behind the even larger island near the cap and pinged me a number of times and indicated that I should cap - the enemy TIX BB was on our flank as well so that would not work out well for me. One the flank was cleared the enemy had pushed through on the other flank and were capping - so the Tirpitz proceeded towards the enemy cap (along with out TIX BB).

A BB is supposed to be a meat shield for the rest of the team. It has armour and a usually large health pool (and quite often a heal) to help it undertake that function. BBs are the most user friendly class in WoWS. Is that news to you?

Adding heal to lower tier DD and CA would break the game balance even more than it can be at the moment. Not having heal means that players learn how to play without making too many mistakes in-game.

I think the time you have to get back in-game is longer than this as I doubt many people could make that time (20ms). 20ms is twenty milli-seconds by the way. The OP did post that they had to reinstall the game so there was no way they could do that in even 15 minutes. I would think the only reason to do a reinstall is if some files got corrupted but I think there is an option to check and repair the install on WGC in the Game Settings. I'd try that before a reinstall.

I got the chat ban (as explained to me) by using the term dogshit to describe the players hidden stats. There wasn't anything else in the message I sent. I did question that and was told to be polite always........ This is the message "You are a clueless BB player - why do you think a cruser hides bahinf an island to shoot the enemy? No armour or heal. A player with hidden stats as well - you must be dogshit"

You can send a PM to one of the Admins (not Forum moderators) and they will let you know what triggered the ban. I did PM one of the moderators to find out who the admins were (one of them was on leave).

I received a week chat ban because a BB player on North (who was hiding behind and island) kept on clicking on my Bayard (admittedly I was also behind an island) to get me to cap - they were still behind the island and did not move into the cap until the enemy ships were destroyed. After the game I looked at their stats and found they were hidden. I said that they must be dogshit. So, the ban is for insults/provocation.

If I could only play one non tech tree ship it would be HSF Harekaze without a moments hesitation. It's a great ship and you can play it with three different gun layouts. I use the 4-10 with the 100 mm guns - very good gun boat with decent torps.

You have to wonder about the people who design these things (and the managers that approve them) only allowing one container to be purchased at a time. I had a look in-game (thinking they may be available for gold there) and even there you can still only buy one at a time and no gold purchase. So, I'm keeping my money on this one. No wonder some of the 'improvements' are not actually improvements.

I think my regrets may be around premium ships that WG released prior to the tech tree line and the premiums were different to the tech tree line. So Anshan and Lo Yang (both don't have DWTs) while all the tech tree ships do have DWTs. I don't mind playing either though TBH and some DD players see a Pan Asian DD and assume it has DWTs and find out the hard way that it does not. Aigle (has smoke) while the rest of the line does not. I still use her every now and then for missions. I've gotten used to smokeless DDs (sort of). The Italian cruisers Duca D'Aosta and Abruzzi - both use HE and AP while the tech tree line has SAP and AP. I've not played either since the snowflake event and I'll probably not play them until the next snowflake event.

I'm sure this is how it works. I'm fairly sure there used to be a message shown if you tried to have more than one collection active. However, it could have been changed.

As others have posted in this thread just because the OP thinks they have sufficient free slots does not mean that other players are in the same position. Personally, I've got 92 free slots at the moment and I'm fine with getting more - there are probably that many fantasy Soviet ships on the drawing board at the moment.

I've always found it best to watch videos from various players to try and get a spread of opinions. Form the NA forum Mejash and Sea Lord Mountbatten are active. Notser and iChaseGaming seem to be a bit quiet at the moment.

My first impression is that the guns are very nice and are accurate.

My guess is that is't just down to players grinding the DMD to get the TX replacement.(Nevsky). When ever a line changes or a new line is introduced the MM can get fooded.

Use the ticket and reply back asking again for what you want to do. It would help if you knew the name of the captain you dismissed but I presume like the most of us you won't know who it was.
