Yes, if subs make it into any existing mode I think that may well be the end for me as well. I've mainly been hiding in co-op since the CV rework - (I had a game in a DD where 2 CVs just concentrated on me all game - I managed to fire my torps once and never got in range to fire my guns).

Is that what usually interrupts your connection? I wasn't doing any of that - I had just pressed battle so the lost connection came at a bad time.

I think that is something that WG have in place for WoWS and WoT (not sure about WoWP as I didn't play that for very long) - that is have some bad ships in the line even further up the tier chain. As ZifTTroll has posted this is to encourage players to use up some free XP to ease the pain. I think the Izumo is an example of that although it was buffed after a long time.

I'd suggest not responding in such a way as to get yourself banned. Report the player and let them get the ban. Do anything else it's your fault.

While they aren't that super anymore all you need to do is win a battle in a TX - so co-op is going to be the quickest way to do that.

Only missing 1 - California. I thought the Nikolai I, Gremy and Kutasov had been pulled? So, while they may drop in an Xmas container they won't appear in a Supercontainer (which I don't consider as 'super' anymore - yes, I know it's free). Last Xmas I had the Fujin drop for me in an Xmas container.

It would have been interesting to look at the player profile to see how many battles in BBs they had and how many battles in each tier. I know it's been happening for a long time but quite often when you see a Tirpitz (or other 'non grind' BB) sail around the outside of islands and not contribute to the battle, even when top tier, and the profile shows that the highest BB players in any mode is 5.

My guess is that DDs are harder to hit so players try and farm damage elsewhere. Personally, I'll fire at DDs as a priority target regardless of what ship class I am in. I'd almost bet that these are some of the players who complain about DDs that get close enough to torp them.

While that would be the sensible approach many companies now-a-days are more interested in acquiring more new customers than retaining the existing ones. They need to learn that once you lose a customer they tend to stay lost.

I have the same attitude in this game as I did in WoT - try and play the other classes to understand the advantages and disadvantages they have in game play as that could help you improve you play in the other classes. I only play CVs in co-op as I know I suck at them but by playing them I get to see what, for instance, DDs can do to to make themselves a harder target (and not just smoking up which I try to avoid in a DD as it stops me spotting for the team).

You can only collect items for one collection at a time. Decide which is the one you want more (or at all) and concentrate on that one. I completed the German collection a few days ago.

Just don't fire all your torps on the predicted path of the ship - shoot one set on the path and the other two are for if the ships turns in or out.

How about an ASW helicopter?

Thanks for doing this - I've used the website in the past for the snowflake events and it's been very useful.

I usually have the sound down as low as it can be without the automatic mute kicking in. I did listen to some of the stream earlier today but they had the in-game volume so high you could not hear what they were saying. The chat was 'lighting up' with requests to turn the volume down but I gave up.

I'd suggest giving the BBs the ability to submerge so they can hide from incoming fire without having to hide behind a big island. (I am joking by the way.)

If you were banned for port chat it may well be worth reporting the other player - unless they've been banned as a result of what they said. Note: You will not find out they've been banned unless you see them in this thread or after their chat ban is over they contact you again (at which point they may get another ban if they don't behave themselves).

You replied to me in the post that I suggested doing that. There was no point in your reply as it was meaningless in that you ignored what I had suggested. A response of 'the cat is in the tree' would have as much relevance as your reply.

I think WoT used to reset around there. I don't recall if WoWS has ever done it then - I'm not usually playing around that time. I did wake up early 5:30am in Ireland and found that the rewards hadn't been reset but my half-awake brain twigged what had happened and I think I managed to complete some of the rewards from the previous day.

No-one will ever find out if anything has been done. It's all about privacy of those involved.

I'd take a screen shot and make it into your desktop wallpaper so you get reminded of your good fortune every time you see your desktop. No, I didn't do that - I did get three camos rather than flags. P.S. I'm sure the spreadsheet shows we're all estatic with the results.

I did this when I was chat banned by sending a PM to a forum moderator and they were able to advise me which WG Staff are around (so I did not send a PM to a WG Staff member who was on holiday). Let them know when the chat ban started (or when it finishes) and they should be able to help."

In the official ModStation there is a mod that allows unlimited replays to be kept. You don't need to install any other mods if you don't want to. I've currently got around 78 replays in the game folder. It's up to you to maintain the contents of the folder - each patch there is a new folder created for that patch. Chat bans can also come outside of the games if there has been an exchange of messages which get reported. The WG staff have the ability to look at these chat logs as well. If you really want to find what has caused the ban I'd suggest contacting a WG Staff.
