I used to go for the TYL ones simply because there was a better chance of getting a Supercontainer and, therefore, a ship. I now just go for resources for the coal as that allows special equipment (longer radar etc) and ships to be bought for that resource.

It may be an intermittent thing - I've just got back in-game and have missions there at the moment. I tried to buy a small amount of dubloons on-line. The first time it threw me back to the log on screen but the second time it worked OK. With the above I may take a break today - don't want WG to lose details of any progress I make.

As the missions are not available for many I'd suggest something has gone wrong at WGs end. Hamsters run out of vodka?

The default paying for items with in-game currency wasn't always an option but it has been around for a long time. It has resulted in players using up their gold which they did not notice immediately. I know there was a mod in Aslain's modpack but from what was posted earlier in this thread it's also in the WG modstation. So, it looks like there is no reason to not use it even if it's just for that one mod. Edited: In the modpack it's in the tab where the anchor is (second one from the right) and is called 'Stingy by Default' and was created by MegaDommagam.

I have no missions either and there are warnings to let me know I can't buy premium. Based in Cork, Ireland at the moment.

I had the "guns don't fire" bug the other day. I've had it in the past months as well. It's a WTF moment when it happens.

Because players who are usually polite can still respond in the wrong way and get chat banned. Not everyone is impolite 100% of the time - I presume even the absolute arse will still be capable of non toxic conversations.

Not all players are toxic all the time - some get triggered by something another player posted and react poorly. Yes, I know it's a video game - my last chat ban was because I called another player's stats dogshit (they had played poorly and their stats were hidden) which isn't that toxic. There are times that players do just chat with each other - for instance when another player 'saved the day' for the team. I've had players talk to me in-game and been unable to respond to them - I think I was able to send them a PM on the forum (but not all players are active on the forum).

Apart from some CB battles and some operations I've been hiding in co-op since the CV rework (or shorty after). Yes, the rewards aren't great compared to randoms but it is a lot easier to handle.

I suggested this a number of months ago. A number of people suggested that there should be a marker if the player had disabled chat which would include players that had been chat banned. Some players want to be polite in-game and would like others know that they are unable to respond to comments in-game rather than be seen as being rude.

I was playing WoT during the closed beta and bought the medium and heavy pre-orders. The 'mutant' wasn't a great tank but it was slightly rare. The medium was nothing special either but you could ram other vehicles with some effect as it was a Panther chassis(?). Companies seem to not care about reputation anymore.

Is there anyone here that played WoT around the time of the closed/open beta? Do you recall the pre-order specials that will 'never ever' be available again (there was a light, medium and heavy tank bundle)? This is stated at 1:22 in the following clip. A number of years later they were in the premium shop for 24 hours and then pulled due to the outrage raised by this. I think a number of years later they went on sale again (i wonder how many people who were playing WoT still from the time of the beta).

I go the Smaland when it was first released and also have the Ostergotland and Halland. I guess if you don't get the Smaland you may regret it later, I don't think if you got her you would regret it. It looks like a combination of things. The shadow outline of ships looks like a GPU problem to me. The shells appearing late and in strange directions look like a sync problem server side. Overall, it looks like a mess to me with multiple things going wrong.

I don't find the 'torpedo menace' from team mates in co-op is DDs it's cruisers and BBs firing from the 2nd line.
