Don't give WG ideas - although 'gold' ammo is in WoT so players can 'load the skill'.

I'm glad the usual installs don't take as long as the one this morning - especially given there wasn't much to download.

I'm surprised that they've not hidden this behind the RB.

I've still got over 400 days left so there is no reason to get another year. With submarines due at some stage that's another reason to not do so again.

Also in the numerous threads in this forum. I think we're almost to that number of threads.

It's a generic secondary build for the Scharnhorst. Here's one for the Bismark (the build starts around12:28)

It seems that some people think we need more. Either that or people start to look at the thread titles and figure out this has been raised numerous times already. But then again they are the ones complaining because they didn't read the blurb (probably a 'common thread' right there).

The duration of the current missions is 64 days - so I doubt the 'non B' ship will be back in that time - unless it comes in an Xmas crate......

Thanks for that - while it's been a long time since they were removed the only thing that was said that the won't be back 'not earlier than half a year'. So, there is no 'due date'. I wonder if they are going to hide them in the RB like a lot of their other content.

I think the Flint, Black and Neastrashimi (?) which were steel ships but were removed will be available for coal 'at some stage'. No one knows exactly when that will be. Coal can be used to buy equipment upgrades (longer hydro/radar/smoke/engine boost) which does account for some coal. I'm sitting on over 420K coal at the moment and don't fancy the Salem (I have a DM) or the Japanese Cruiser (I have the Zao and the 'other one'). I'm waiting for more coal ships to appear - not a big fan of the RB and WG seems to be hiding more behind that (ships, legendary upgrades etc).

Yes, I also read/heard that the XP from the captains in the Reserve can be used to boost the XP of other captains - no doubt that won't come cheap either.

I agree that most XP needs dubloons to be converted to Free XP. But a portion of the XP earnt in a game becomes FreeXp which does not need to be converted using dubloons. Using this to by-pass tiers has a hidden cost - getting to higher tiers with, maybe, and inexperienced captain. Which is one reason to think hard about skipping tiers and using up the 'real' FreeXP.

I agree the more 19 point captains the more Elite Captain XP is available to boost other captains. While 10 points for a DD captain is the minimum I only start to feel comfortable with 14 - I think I usually take RL/RPF at that 14 point skill (after the standard ones). I find DDs without that to be at a disadvantage especially if they have slow turret rotation. Having the guns in the right direction at the start of an engagement is an advantage. RL/RPF also helps when torping DDs in the cap. Can't free XP be used to boost the captain skills? The one thing Harvin87 has done is used up FXP for going up the tiers but they've also lost the captain XP that would have been gained along the way. Edited: I had the Friesland to train up my EU captain before the tech tree line was released - I think there isn't a common set of skills as it's a gunboat with no torps and smoke while the tech tree line doesn't have smoke but has torps. There is the Orkan also in the shop still.

I did have to double check it was from the RB. I thought I'd missed a ship for coal (I'm sitting on over 400K coal and am not interested the Salem or the Yoshino - I'm waiting for the steel ships that were removed - Flint and Neustrashimi for instance as they are meant to come back for coal at some stage).

I remember back in the early days of WoT some players would 'pull the plug' to deny the kill to an enemy player. I recall once that I was abut to kill a Tiger II and they did exactly that. It was a little bit annoying. WG did fix the code so although the player was no longer in the game their tank was.

The Paulo Emilio is a RB ship for 43K research points - not a coal ship.

I agree but it's never going to happen. It seems to be another way for WG to get players to spend gold (without them noticing) which isn't a great attitude from a company - there have been similar discussions on that in the past.
